Street Hockey (Spidershim Thread)

>"give us the purse lady!"
>"yeah we promise we wont hurt you too much"
>you turn to look down a dimly lit alleyway as a group of thugs are mugging a woman and her husband
>"here take it! just let us go!"
>the thug takes the purse and counts the money inside
>"what the hell? only fifty bucks? what kind of woman only has fifty bucks in her purse?"
>one of the other thugs punch the man in the stomach making him kneel over out of breath
>"that's not going to pay the toll for OUR streets!"
>"looks like we are going to have to take payment another way..."
>a wave of anger surges up inside you as you set down your athletics bag and take out a damaged hockey mask
"These creeps picked the wrong town to do this shit."
>you put on the mask your magenta eyes peering through the openings towards the alleyway
>before you walk down you pick the bag back up and sling it over your shoulder
>your footsteps are drowned out by some of the thugs beating the kneeling man down while another struggles to pin the woman to the wall
"Hey assholes..."
>the two guys beating the man stop and look over to you while the one with the woman finally pins her before looking over to you
>reaching behind your back you pull a bat out of your bag
"Why don't you pick on someone your own size?"

>"it isn't Halloween girly, take off the mask and go home, this doesn't concern you"
>your mask stares on at the goons while underneath you smile as two of them approach you
>one pulls a knife from his pocket while the other picks up a metal pipe next to a trash can
>"this is your last chance girly, get lost!"
"that's not going to happen"
>you reach to the bag again and pull out a baseball
>the two men give you a confused look as you toss it up and down twice before one takes another step
>he's the target
"Batter up."
>you toss the ball and swing the bat striking the ball sending it flying at the goon
>it collides with his forehead and knocks him to the ground with a grunt
"strike one"
>the other charges at you and the one holding the woman drops her to join his friends
>"Now you're in for it!"
>he raises the pipe and swings it hard and fast at your skull
>you block it with the bat like some street version of a sword fight
>as the mugger starts to put too much force on his side you step back causing him to fall
>you raise your bat to bludgeon him but the bat is taken from you by his friend
>"Baseball seasons over kid!"
"if you say so"
>you pull the oldest move in the book
>you kick him square in his crotch making him keel over in pain as you pull out one of your hockey sticks along with a puck
>taking a few steps back you set the puck on the ground and watch as his eyes look up at you
>"don't you fuckin-"
>you raise the stick for the shot
"Three seconds left on the clock. Dash is alone at the net!"
>with all the force you can muster you shoot the puck right at his face
>it hits right in his teeth shattering almost all of them and knocking him out
"strike two!"
>you now turn back to the mugger who is starting to get back up
>with the hockey stick you grab his leg and pull him back down to the ground
>"p-please! we'll give back the money! just stop!"
>you flip him over so he can face you as you stare at him through your mask
"should have thought of that before you threatened and beat those people back there..."
>you raise the stick and smash it into the mans face over and over until its broken and bleeding
>once you notice all three criminals are down for the count you smile
"and the games over folks, that's three outs!"
>you reach down and pick up your bat from the ground and put both it and the stick back into your bag after a quick wipe down with a sports towel
>as you walk off you hear the man and woman behind you speak
>"thank you, thank you so much."
>"who are you?"
>you look back at the two your hockey mask covered in splatters of blood
>reaching up you grab the mask and reveal your face with a smile
"the names Rainbow Dash."
