Super Smash Bros. Switch Giveaway

So, after many years of being on Twitch (it's getting close to 9 now!) and being a partner for just gone 4 years (time really does fly, doesn't it? Crazy...) I've decided that I wanted to give something back to the community that I've come to know and love.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases in just under 3 weeks and to celebrate the launch of the game, I've decided to give away one of the limited edition Smash Bros. Ultimate Switch console bundles! The package itself will include;

- A digital download of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch
- Limited Edition Nintendo Switch console; featuring Smash logo on the joycons and a special themed screen dock
- An official dent in the top of the box, created by yours truly! (It's a dent of love, I promise)

The console was bought from a UK retailer, so it'll have the UK power adaptor. Based on who wins the giveaway, I'm more than happy to ship the correct power adaptor to the winner/provide the adequate funds via PayPal for them to purchase it themselves. I appreciate this is a bit of a hassle but the console does take USB-C charge cables, which are becoming a common standard for most smart phones that have been released in the past couple of years. I'm not sure if they're safe to use with the Switch (Nintendo like to make you use their own official products) but it's potentially worth a shot. Like I said, I'm happy to ship one out.

Now, the important part.

ＨＯＷ  ＴＯ  ＥＮＴＥＲ

Entering the giveaway is done by gifting subs on Twitch (SwordofSeals) between the 17th November to 6th December.

- 1 gift sub will give you one entry into the prize draw.
- 5 gift subs will give you five entries into the prize draw.
- Tiers do not affect entries. A Tier 1 counts as one entry, a Tier 3 counts as one entry.
- To keep things fair, your entries will cap at 5. Any additional gift subs will not grant more entries.
- Anonymous gift subs do not count. I have no reliable way to trace who they belong to.
- I'm tracking these all MANUALLY. It'd be easier for me if you do this whilst I'm live, since I'm adding them all to a notepad document for use when I withdraw the winners.
- Subscribing yourself/ resubscribing does not grant an entry. This is done for two reasons;
	1. The prize pool would be too large.
	2. I want to give incentive gifting the gift of sub onto others! It's turning into the holiday season so now seems a perfect time.
- Gift subs are NON REFUNDABLE. Please make sure you have enough money to eat before cranking out a large sum on gift subs. I can't take any responsibility for any mismanagement on funds. I'll forever be a sad boy if I come to hear of it, though.
- I will mark December 5th → December 6th (if a stream occurs on this date) as the final date to grant entries.
- Please be gentle. ;~;

Hopefully this gives incentive to both gift the emotes to others in chat and potentially net a nice gift right before Christmas. :)

ＷＩＮＮＩＮＧ  ＡＮＤ  ＣＯＮＤＩＴＩＯＮＳ

On December 6th I will draw the winner on stream.
The plan is to write all names on small pieces of paper then draw them from a hat (or, well, a similar idea).
Proceeding this, I contact them for details. I will need a Discord/E-Mail/whatever form works best.
Please make sure you're comfortable giving an address/PO box for the console to ship to, as well.
I will do what I can to cover cost of shipping/customs.

On the event that the selected winner either;
- Refuses the console for personal reasons
- Is unable to send an address (complications with owners of the address or something)
- Becomes unresponsive/non-contactable (unlikely, I'd hope)

Then I will re-draw the winner again.

If you gift a sub out of sheer generosity and wish not to be entered into the giveaway, please inform me.

I have decided that the winner does not get the ability to select someone to give the Switch to; I want it reserved for those performing the gift subs. If the winner wins the giveaway, and they then decide they don't want the Switch, I will redraw.

ＧＯＡＬＳ  ＡＮＤ  ＰＬＡＮＳ

The general goal of this is to raise my sub point count number to unlock more emote slots. At the time of writing, I've jumped from my former count of 200~ (with an all time high of 300~) to a whopping 600+. 5 emotes are unlocked and there may be more potential slots, depending on how this goes. I'll be in touch with Manikku/Kenket again to get a mixture of Shinx/other stuff done, potentially.

The funding that I gain from all subs, bits and donations will most likely be used to fund AGDQ (which I'm not entirely decided about) as I was unfortunately not granted a chance at the new job I spoke about several months ago. Anything additional will go into savings for the everlasting hope to be able to move out into my own place, someday in the future.

Life itself has been pretty rough as of late (since coming home after SGDQ, funnily enough) but the stream is the one thing that has kept me going, and all of you are to thank. Wouldn't be where I am without ya, and that's why I wanted to give away a console like this in the first place, as a small thanks/token of my appreciation. I love you all to heck.

There may be another giveaway in the future, but I can't plan for that yet. The way of entering may be different, the prize will most definitely be different, and I'm not sure of a time frame wherein I'll do it. If you can't enter, no worries. And don't feel obligated to enter, please; only do it if you can financially support it and/or want to help. It's all non-refundable, after all.

As for the stream; expect all kinds of shit. Honestly, I find it hard to stay grounded these days.
