Places

Arn - A town, village or similar locale that our unnamed author mentions 'isn't an option anymore'. What made this village an unattractive option for fleeing isn't clear yet, though speculation perhaps points to occupation, the lack of means to get there (author was short on food) or difficulties between his location and that one.

Fort Auru - The last stronghold of a small contingent of soldiers and civillians in the area north of the Hycala bridge. The soldiers traded the author rations for ancient scrap, which apparently was not much use to them. There may still be more there, along with perhaps this Cogito Cog.

Hycala Bridge - A place where Doctor Barnes had 'something for emergencies' hidden away nearby. From the name I'd assume this is the Hyrule-Calatia bridge we crossed to enter the kingdom, and the 'something for emergencies' this mountain laboratory squirreled away in a flood cave.



People

-------

Author - Seems to have been a scavenger trading in junk where he could, especially Ancient materials, which he seems to have been stockpiling for a Dr. Barnes. The two seem to have had a long business relationship. Almost certainly not a researcher himself, and perhaps not a warrior - but brave regardless, as someone willing to risk their life in an attempt to finish the doctor's project.

Dr. Barnes -  A scholar of the arcane - and in more recent years, Ancient technology, with a certain kind of foresight. The kind of foresight that manages to let one luck out after building a secret lab in a flood cave and not have the things ruined when you need them! It's uncertain whether his weapon would have stopped the Calamity, but now perhaps we'll never know. That is almost certainly for the better.

Queen Selene - Either the ruler of Calatia at the time of its fall, or a past ruler whom the castle itself was named after.

Saint Justine - A hero of some sort.



Items

Ancient Furnace - A complex piece of Ancient technology that uses a unique type of fire that isn't easily duplicated, but the fire can be transferred elsewhere via standard methods. They're rather prized by researchers of Ancient technology and used in place of forges. I don't know more than that, but perhaps one of the others would.

Calamity Buster? - An (as of the time of this writing) unnamed weapon designed by Doctor Barnes as a new method to eliminate the Calamity on the basis that perhaps Ganon couldn't manipulate technology he hadn't fought yet. Presumably was never finished. More soon?

Cogito Cog - A special cog of Ancient make that was not used in warmachines like the Guardians. Currently thought to be in Fort Auru.
