[b]Trama [/b]
In Pirati! Briganti da strapazzo, Hugh Grant (Christian De Sica nella versione italiana) interpreta il ruolo animato nella parte del barbuto Capitano dei Pirati, inguaribile entusiasta e terrore dei mari, anche se talvolta di poco successo. Con un equipaggio di straccioni al suo fianco, e apparentemente cieco davanti alle stranezze che gli si presentano davanti, il Capitano ha un sogno: sconfiggere i suoi acerrimi nemici Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) e Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) per ricevere il sognato premio di Pirata dell'Anno. E' un viaggio che porta i nostri eroi dalle spiagge dell'esotica Blood Island alle strade nebbiose della Londra vittoriana. Nel cammino combattono contro una regina diabolica (Imelda Staunton, Luciana Littizzetto nella versione italiana) e si uniscono a un giovane e infelice scienziato (David Tennant), senza perdere mai di vista quello che un pirata ama di più: l'avventura!
