lionheart and bellwether first crossed paths when he was first starting his political career. at the time, they actually shared a lot of the same ideals. they worked together on developing the perfect campaign, that would appeal to both preds and prey. In working together, they learned a lot from each other. lionheart learned to do whatever it takes to succeed, bellwether learned to feel comfortable voicing her opinion. they got to the point where they decided to run as co-mayors. Unfortunately, it seems nobody, not even prey, was ready for prey to have power. so, lionheart and bellwether mutually agreed to split ways until the election was over. if he won, he would find some way for bellwether to have a position in office. Regardless of what happen, Lionheart tells her that he will always find a way to help her through trouble. lionheart wins, and he makes good on his first promise. he gets bellwether a job as secretary, but assures her he'll find a way to give her a better role. whatever. bellwether's just happy to be part of zootopia's government. but something about lionheart seems different. he no longer seems as openminded. doesn't really say much to bellwether beyond giving her jobs. a lot colder and more distant. bellwether puts up with it. [.....] That's all I got right now.

 - Bell's initial plan was to just dart Lionheart, but she couldn't bring herself to go through with it
- After Lionheart is impeached and Bellwether is imprisoned, they start conversing again. They both feel like shit for what they've done, but are unsure how to move past it
