  5. Things you can buy with TP:
  6.
  7. TP is Tree of Savior's premium currency. You'll automatically get 1 free TP every 4 hours up to a maximum of 5 (the planned Guild vs. Guild system is supposed to increase the cap to 8 on the first place team's server). If you want to buy something that costs more than 5 TP, or you want to buy megaphones more often and spam everyone, you can buy more using real money. During early access, you can only get more TP by buying additional Founder's Packs, but after the regular release, 100 TP will cost $9.00 (US Dollars, and rates will be cheaper for certain regional servers) https://treeofsavior.com/news/?n=278. TP will not expire. If you have both free TP and cash shop TP, the free TP will be spent first, so you can effectively get a 5 TP discount on each purchase by waiting until your free TP reaches the cap. Note that many cash shop items can't be transferred from one character to another.
  8.
  9. Each major city has a TP Shop vendor marked by a gold icon in the minimap. Talk to this vendor to buy premium items or preview cosmetic items. Remember to stop in and spend your free TP whenever you reach the cap so it doesn't get wasted.
  10.
  11. Character Slots:
  12.
  13. You can add room for additional characters and pets by paying 33 TP per slot. Slots don't appear in the shop, and are instead purchased through a prompt which appears when you try to create a new character or adopt a new pet when all your slots are full. You start off with only 4 slots, and pets take up one slot each just like characters, so a Hunter-Falconer would require 3 slots. If you have spare TP and you're not sure where to spend it, this is a great choice since it's only a matter of time until you'll want to try out a new alt in a game with this many different classes. You can have up to 15 slots total.
  14.
  15. Tokens:
  16.
  17. Premium tokens are sold by IMC in the cash shop, but free players can purchase them from other players on the market for silver. Tokens provide several benefits:
  18. Learn attributes from class trainers instantly. (Before the 4/26/16 patch, it allowed learning two attributes simultaneously.)
  19. The market tax on items you've sold is reduced from 30% to 10%.
  20. You get 30 personal trades. This is direct trade window trading between two players. Each token gives 30 trades and you can stack multiple tokens. **Test how this works after you run out of trades after the 4/26 patch
  21. You can list ten items on the market instead of just one. (Before the 4/26/16 patch, it allowed five.)
  22. Character movement speed is increased by 3 points. This is a subtle but helpful amount.
  23. You get 30% more EXP from monster kills.
  24. You can enter instanced dungeons and missions once more per day. The limit on each increases from two to three, and the counts are separate for each instance type.
  25. You can use premium emotes. These have animations and are colored gold in your emote tab.
  26. Tokens are items stored in the premium section of your inventory. You can store them as long as you want before using them. Use a token like a consumable item. The token applies to all of your characters on the same server. If you use multiple tokens, their durations and trade counts stack.
  27. Tokens usually last 30 days, but founder's tokens from the type 1 pack last 60 days. Durations are occasionally extended by IMC as compensation for server downtime. Check your remaining duration in the character info tab.
  28. Tokens can be sold on the in-game market for silver. However, they can't be traded directly between players. People who advertise tokens on shout chat probably don't know about the trading restrictions. IMC uses token sales through the market as a way of competing against third party silver sellers. Since the benefits of tokens are substantial, free players are advised to save up silver and buy them from cash players. The market tax reduction alone will pay for the token if you've got a lot of materials and items to sell.
  29.
  30. EXP Tome:
  31.
  32. These tomes increase the experience you get from monster kills by 30%. They also double your Stamina recovery rate. Tomes last for one hour and time is not consumed when you're offline, so you can log off while waiting for a party to form before entering a dungeon if you have a tome ticking. EXP Tomes can't be traded.
  33.
  34. Skill Reset Potion:
  35.
  36. Reset your skill points. This does not change your class choices, but you can reallocate the skill points within all of your classes. Skill Reset Potions can't be traded.
  37.
  38. Megaphone:
  39.
  40. A Megaphone is consumed each time you send a message in shout chat. They're cheap, and you can buy them with the free TP you accumulate automatically. Megaphones can't be traded.
  41.
  42. Soul Crystal:
  43.
  44. These allow you to resurrect instantly on the spot whenever you die. You can recover your gems right away and get back into the action immediately. Soul Crystals are very useful and it's recommended to use your free TP to buy as many as you can get. Since they can be bought with free TP, you probably won't want to spend cash shop TP on them, but the option is there if you die a lot. They can't be traded.
  45.
  46. Urgent Repair Kit:
  47.
  48. Those of you who die a lot might want this, too. It restores the durability of your items to 5, allowing you to continue a little longer before returning to town to repair. You might choose to use it against a world boss or in a difficult instance. Urgent Repair Kits are cheap enough to buy with free TP, and you shouldn't be using them often. They can't be traded.
  49.
  50. Warp Scroll:
  51.
  52. Warp Scrolls are portable Vakarine statues which save the location you use them in. They can't be traded.
  53.
  54. Enchant Scroll:
  55.
  56. These enchant a headgear item with 1 to 3 (the amount is random) bonus stats (the stats are random, too). Some enchantments can be very powerful, such as multiple elemental damage bonuses on the same hat, but the odds of getting something good are low and you can expect to spend a lot of TP before getting anything useful. Free TP is normally limited to 5, so you can reduce the cash shop TP cost of an Enchant Scroll to 3 by buying it when your free TP is at the cap (spending 5 free TP and 3 cash shop TP). The planned Guild vs Guild system is supposed to raise the free TP cap to 8 on the top ranked team's server, which would allow players to buy Enchant Scrolls with free TP. These scrolls can also drop from instanced dungeon cubes, but they're extremely rare. The scrolls themselves are untradable, but the enchanted hats can be sold on the market for silver. As a result, pay2win whales will get the best hat enchants and dominate the enchanted hat market.
  57.
  58. Hairstyles:
  59.
  60. Hairstyles are equippable items kept in your inventory. You can place them in the hairstyle equipment slot to make them visible. The TP shop allows you to preview hairstyles on your character before buying. They are untradable, can only be used if your character is of the matching sex, and they work with any hair colors you've unlocked. Hairstyles which can be selected normally during character creation only cost 15 TP, but premium-only hairstyles cost 119 TP for men and 178 TP for women (just like how real life hair salons often charge more for women's cuts; supply and demand can be cruel). More hairstyles will be added to the shop in the future.
  61.
  62. Costumes:
  63.
  64. These outfits are equippable items kept in your inventory just like the costumes you get from changing classes. The TP shop allows you to preview costumes on your character before buying. Each costume can only be equipped by a character of the matching base class and sex, so you can still identify character classes by what they're wearing. Costumes cost 129 TP and can't be traded. More costumes will be added to the shop in the future.
