Scenario 4
You are the IT manager of a recently established ISP and have been requested by
Chaturbate to host their legal pornography site. Your managers have stated they
need a large client to boost the companies revenue and to gain traction in the ISP
market even though you personally are against pornography.
Whilst doing your due diligence on Chaturbate you observe that all participants
appear to only be required to submit a copy of a government ID with a
photograph and the ID must prove that the person applying for an account is 18+
However you are concerned that the ‘proof of age’ process is not that ‘robust’ and
the site may contain persons under the age of 18.
You have discussed this with your manager and she would like a report outlining
what you have identified and what legal implications the ISP faces should
persons be under the age of 18 years of age on the pornographic site.
