(1) Iori is using a lot of absolute statements, and also a lot of superlatives!! he is so vehement about keeping riku as i7's center because of his voice and image and ability to be loved etcetc think chapter 1-3 or smth, BUT anyways the Real TL Note is that iori is warning Tsumu that switching here is risky because they're just starting to climb even further up into national attention+popularity. thus, changing the center would mean newcomers would remember i7 differently, and switching back to riku would pose a lot of difficulties etcetc BUT OBVS IT HAPPENS BC CHAPTER 1.1 HAPPENED SO
ANYWAYS the Actual TL Note is that 'will never be known' is inferred, iori says smth more like 'idolish7's center will eternally/forever NOT be nanase riku'.
(2) Izumi Iori is Vehement and uses a lot of emphasis, specifically he says that they must not 'betray' those first impressions, and he is 100% sure of backlash. adjusted to fit natural conversational flow bc as much as i like the implications of 'betray,' keeping it in there sounded Very Strange and Unnatural
(3) In case anyone was confused, tsumugi is referring to the "I WANNA CHEER YOU ON" factor as what's 'charming' or 'appealing'. so when iori's sad, or when riku's off trying his damn hardest, tsumugi can't help but want to cheer them on, and that in itself is very IDOLiSH7.
