 <big><i>The Past</i></big>

Born in a test tube, Liam was an experiment birthed from the League of Assassins scientist Viper and another of his colleagues to create the ultimate assassin for the group. However, it was documented on records that the biological to the young male and the lead biologist however succumbed to an illness that the records looked over due to the certainty that the project in question would be immune to such simple diseases. However, after the death of his biological father, Viper, the project was scrapped and the resulting infant was to be destroyed.
<br><br>
It seemed someone had grown a conscious at the league and the infant was smuggled out, however abandoned in Ireland, the savior of the young child was killed for their betrayal and since then the league has failed to find their escaped project. It is assumed that they assumed he wouldn't assume due to the experiments on him and the unavailable medical support they used to keep him alive beforehand. Adopted by a couple unable to conceive, Liam was raised as a normal child in Ireland, though he was unable to put on much weight and was littered with the scars from the circumstances of his young life. His parents knew not of the extent of the tests done on him, assuming he was just a sickly child, something he also believed due to his skinny build.
<br><br>
However, as he got older, Liam started to develop the fruits of the experiments. The first sign was his eyes, born blue, turning into a deep shade of green. The second was his elongated canines that started to resemble fangs. The third sign was during a trip to the zoo, in which Liam was shocked to hear the snakes speaking in a tongue he could understand. From there, Liam started to develop strange powers and habits to which his parents, just pleased to have a son, put down to simple illnesses that his scars from birth may have explained. These included, shedding his skin, growing incredibly tall while remaining very thin and his incredibly pale complexion. It became too much though, when at eighteen a young Liam started work on a construction site and the constant movement over the day caused him to be sick. It wasn't puke that came up however, Liam had literally birthed up a live rattlesnake from his stomach.
<br><br>
Despite a loving family that couldn't bare to lose their son and tried to keep him hidden, Liam couldn't face the locals and left home with the pretense that he was an adult now and needed to find out what he truly was. He left with a kiss on his mother's cheek and a hug to his father before boarding a plane to the states which they funded. Why America some people asked? 'All fucked up shit comes from America' was Liam's reply.
<br><br>
In America, Liam had no job or friends and slowly started to succumb to his almost primal instincts as he lived out in more rural areas and hunted wild animals as if he himself was an animal. More and more strange abilities dawned on him as he lived out his life and eventually it became too much, driving Liam into the cities as he tried to settle in and build a life that would let him search the large continent for answers. Since his arrival, Liam has gained a modest job working as a clerk in the GCPD, filing and doing other office tasks for the police force that patrols the city of the Dark Knight. Not once dawning on Liam to use his abilities to either help or dominate the city in which he calls home.

<big><i>Powers & Abilities.</i></big>

<b>Serpent Physiology:</b>Liam's DNA is a cross between serpent and human, giving him a human exterior with the inner workings of a snake. This is what gives Liam all of his abilities. He is able to perform many feats like a snake, such as swimming by simply weaving his body, as well as bend and coil himself unnaturally. Due to the results of his birth circumstances, Liam has much stronger bones and muscles then the average human, as well as much more flexibility which allows him to curve himself much like a a snake, as well as constrict his opponents. Other features of his DNA are both passive and controlled, which includes snake like eyes, shedding skin, enhanced sense of smell and retractable fangs, dislocate-able jaw respectively. As snakes are cold blooded creatures, Liam is by nature cold blooded though will adapt passively to his environment, this came from growing up in a country as cold and wet as Ireland. Unless Liam purposefully forces his blood to change, it will simply adapt to the temperature and accordingly change from cold to hot blooded and vice versa.
<br><br>
<b>Superhuman Strength:</b>Due to his enhanced bone structure and muscle formation, Liam has an enhanced strength which allows him to lift heavier objects with ease. His main strength lies in crushing rather then full on brawn however, in which he is on par with the peak human condition without training.
<br><br>
<b>Body growth:</b>Liam is able to extend his limbs and other appendages to extreme lengths much like a snake, for example he is able to stretch his body out to lengths of several meters to allow him to wrap around and crush a human.
<br><br>
<b>Snake Birthing:</b>Due to changes in Liam's reproduction system due to his experiments, he is unable to have children, but at the same time can birth snakes at will. With a large DNA bank of serpents within him, he can birth up almost any snake in a process which is described as 'throwing up'. He is even able to combine serpent DNA types in order to birth hybrids of different breeds.
<br><br>
<b>Snake Control:</b>Be it a child of his or one born of nature, Liam is able to speak to and has the ability to force snakes to do his bidding.
<br><br>
<b>Poison:</b>Due to his make up of several different serpent breeds, Liam's fangs and even his skin when endangered secrete a horrible poison that can kill a fully grown man in minutes. He is able to spit this like some breeds, inject it via bite like others and aforementioned secrete it via his skin. Alas the latter of trio means of administration is passive and comes and goes depending on his bodily situation. Due to his body being a creator of poison and use to it's effects, he is immune to most types of poisons.
<br><br>
<b>Skin Shedding:</b>When badly injured, Liam is able to shed his skin to heal himself. The wanted result of the experiments done to him, Liam is able to cast his skin off and birth himself again and anew. The more serious wounds will appear as scars, but Liam unless killed will be able to regenerate most damage in most instances.
<br><br>
<b>Snake Mimicry:</b> Though his eyes are passive, Liam is able to take on serpent like features such as a snake's tongue, as well as change other certain parts of his body to resemble serpents. This includes being able to turn his skin into scales for a minor layer of protection, depending on his control and chosen serpent. For example, a minor level of control would say allow for a rattlesnakes scales, while a higher would allow for a Anacondas.
<br><br>
<b>Temperature control:</b> When not working as a passive, Liam is able to change his blood status to regulate his body temperature to reduce the effects of elements such as ice or the cold. However, this is also a downfall for if the temperature changes quicker then he can, he will be drained with a light headed sensation. If also for example, shot by Mr Freeze while cold blooded, his body will go into a state of shock and will most likely take serious damage.
<br><br>
<b>Willpower:</b> While not a master of his emotions, Liam is at least able to keep himself in control enough to mask his true identity. He is able to stand up against the primal urges of the snake and is suspected due to that to be able to resist minor psychic attacks because of it, his commitment to finding out his true origin is the stem of his will and is what keeps him from trying to use his powers for his own goals.
<br><br>
<b>Reaction time:</b> As a hybrid of man and snake, Liam has the reaction time and speed of a snake with his lunges. Due to his unique make up and human frame, he is able to compensate for many issues a regular snake would have such as energy depletion and his body is much more suited to handle the snake's natural speed and reaction time. However, as a regular human, his stamina is often brought into question and will often be left short of breath in his speed is expended for too long, unless he is to regularly train in his combat skills.
<br><br>
<b>Common sense:</b> I has it.
<br><br>
<big><i>Weaknesses.</i></big>
<br><br><br>
<b>Untrained:</b>While created to be the perfect assassin, Liam never received any formal training in combat and never had to fight in his adopted life. Aside from a few brawls when he was younger, Liam has no combat experience.
<br><br>
<b>Not the brightest crayon:</b> Liam may have common sense, but he was never verse in aliens, other beings or detective work. Other powered beings are a mystery to him and he isn't one to be able to work out genius level puzzles straight away, nor is he able to hack into anything. He is merely a simple man in mind.
<br><br>
<b>Ambition:</b>Perhaps it is the nature of the serpent to climb high, but while Liam seeks answers, a deep ambition does burn within him as well. While he has never explored what he could possibly do with his powers yet, one day that buried ambition could be his undoing.
<br><br>
<b>Not fluent in power usage:</b>While aware of his powers, Liam is not well versed in using all of them and at times cannot use them as well as he'd like or uses them on accident. He is also unaware of their limits or the extent to which he can use them. Currently training with Poison Ivy to gain more experience.
<br><br>
<b>Heightened Senses:</b>Liam's sense of smell is second to none and because of that, strong smells can hurt his nose if he is too close. Gases will also effect him badly.
