Clark is dating Court, Fuckwad tries to cuck Clark. Clark and Fuckwad were best friends at the time. Keeps inviting Court over for 'late night movies' putting the moves on her, pleading her not to find out, etc. Clark finds out and rips 'Wad a new one. Clark and Fuckwad are no longer friends becuase Fuckwad didn't own up to it, passed on the blame, hid the whole thing, and tried to make excuses about what happened and so on. Clark comes back from a lovely summer in Cali to find that Fuck has wiggled his way into his close friend group and is dating Reb, one of Clark's good friends. All of Clark's friends turn away from Clark and Fuckwad replaces Clark within the friend circle.

All of the friends hide this, while blowing Clark off. Clark is left in the dark and gets the cold shoulder for reasons unknown to him. Reb finally talks to Clark almost 2 months of radio-silence, and is transparent about what has happened and why Clark was getting the cold shoulder (Ie. She is dating Fuckwad). Clark is happy that she had a respectful conversation with him, even though he disagrees with her decisions. Rest of the friends made no effort to speak with Clark or right the wrongs, and Clark is somewhat bitter. Clark tells Reb that he doesn't feel comfortable being friends while she dates 'Wad, but nonetheless feels that she has done what she felt was right.

Fast-forward half a year, Clark does not talk with any of the friends, except for one who is his workout buddy and stays out of all the drama. Court and Clark breakup at the start of the new semester (start of jan, 2016) because Clark is most likely going to Japan, and Court still has another year. Court gets strange emails about a video game from an anon email. Turns out it is Fuckwad, who still isn't over her. Court is an anxious girl with low self esteem, and is currently going through a hard time. Court responds to the email saying she knows it is Fuckwad, and Fuckwad responds, court does not reply. Clark does not know the response of fuckwad, nor the exact date between emails, but knows that they started in January.

Court tells clark (very recently) about the emails. Clark feels he has an obligation to Reb to tell the truth, regardless of whether or not she believes him (Reb dated a manipulative guy before, Clark is under the impression 'Wad is the same), but telling the truth involves throwing Court under the bus, since no one else could have known about the emails.

Pressing for more information about the emails will resurface drama that happened a year ago for Court (she feels as if it is her fault that Clark lost all of his friends), and Reb may not believe clark/the emails may not be sufficent evidence depending on what Wad had sent.

What should Clark do? What is the 'right' option?
