  1. The small, robotic bears chattered rapidly before leaping off the bed face first. Billy turned his flashlight away from the pillow and ran across the room to the west door, and opened it. He bounced his flashlight into the pitch black darkness and saw a blue figure duck behind a wall; the stars and night sky illuminating the ragged rabbit's distorted silhouette. The boy's fingers traced an imaginary line on the wall from across the room as he ran to across the room to the east hall. Billy hesitated, and listened carefully before he dared move.
  2.
  3. He felt hot breath upon his face. Within the yawning chasm of the darkness something wheezed. Billy closed the door, and something heavy stomped down the hallway, away from the door. The headache hurt once more, throbbing enough to force him against the doorway. He pushed himself off, and stumbled forward onto the bed.
  4.
  5. The warm sheets embraced his hands, the mattress yielding as they pushed in. Billy stared into the whiteness of the quilt and lost himself briefly, as the spotted triangles populating the tiles swam around in his vision. His brief disorientation was interrupted by a deep growl from behind him.
  6.
  7. As Billy turned around, the closet doors swung open as a red, tattered figure leaped at him. It screamed, and Billy instinctively shut his eyes, preparing for what was most assuredly next.
  8.
  9.
  10. Billy woke up in a cold sweat. He groggily got up off the floor, and stood up. He reached for his flashlight, and shone it at the pillows. The Fredlings jumped off. He ran to the west door. Bonnie ducked behind a wall. He ran to the-

  12. Billy paused. He opened the closet doors that weren't there the last time. A small doll of Foxy was nestled in the darkness. He poked and prodded it to assure himself that it was as real as everything else was before closing the closet and proceeding to the east door. He saw it was wide open unlike last time.
  13.
  14. He felt something sharp from behind. It hurt in his head. Bad.
  15.
  16. Billy woke up on the floor again. He checked the bed. Nothing was on it. He turned around and moved over to the west door, keeping an eye on the closet. A bright light shone from down the hall, piercing the darkness like a tunnel. Billy left his bedroom and moved into the darkness. He walked for a long time, potentially hours. Billy lost track. The darkness had enveloped him, and it was only the light that kept him going. Billy wasn't sure when the soft carpet turned to hard tile, or when he started to see vague shapes again.
  17.
  18. The darkness fully lifted when he entered an office.
  19.
  20. He saw a man standing in front of him. The man whimpered from inside of a golden bear's suit.. Walling off the man's sides on his left were Freddy and Foxy; on the right stood Bonnie and Chica, staring at each other. They made no movements. A black sockpuppet the size of a man stood behind the man. It towered over Billy.
  21.
  22. "I HAVE AN OFFER TO MAKE YOU," said the Sockpuppet.
  23.
  24. Billy struggled to speak. It had been a long time since he had to use his voice.
  25.
  26. "W-hat is it?", he said in a scratchy, horse tone.
  27.
  28. "YOU HELP ME. I END IT."
  29.
  30. "How do I help you?" asked the boy.
  31.
  32. The puppet waved a long, skinny arm and pointed a finger at the man. The springsuit opened up, exposing the man's sweaty, tear-streaked face. He wore a purple shirt and pants. The man looked familiar, but he was a lifetime ago. Maybe longer.
  33.
  34. He stepped out of the suit, and ran at Billy. He made no recognition of his presence, and passed through Billy like mist without any acknowledgment. The man disappeared into the darkness.
  35.
  36. "ENTER THIS, AND YOU WILL EXIT THE DREAM."
  37.
  38. Billy moved forward.
