  1. shinigamikitsune (8:38:42 PM): Thanks to Misery's interference, Marisa will discover the address is at the Joyce's Lucky Clubs - a long defunct casino equipment manufactorer. Windows and doors are barricaded, but surely there's a way in.
  2. EricOverbringer (8:39:25 PM): Marisa has arrived by broomstick. It is up to the others how they kept up.
  3. EricOverbringer (8:40:06 PM): She's fiddling with a couple grenades by the door. Gotta make a good entrance
  4. shinigamikitsune (8:40:43 PM): There's quite a bit of noise on the inside, and no one seem to be guarding the door so Marisa's pineapple juggling goes unchallenged. Mmmhm...
  5. Dragomorph (8:40:47 PM): Just as long as she's not startled by the van suddenly screeching up and stopping nearby.
  6. Dragomorph (8:41:17 PM): From it emerges a rather excited guy in a green and white armor suit. "Oi!"
  7. EricOverbringer (8:41:19 PM): She waves
  8. IckyChips (8:42:16 PM): After a few thumps, the side door slides open and Gordon lurches out. "Okay, that's it, next time, I drive..."
  9. Dragomorph (8:42:29 PM): You can't tell what the guy in the suit's face is like, but you can assuming it's suitably aggravated. "What's the friggin' deal, just goin' 'Bye, gonna solve an incident!' and not getting us involved?!"
  10. EricOverbringer (8:42:59 PM): Marisa: "Figured I wouldn't need help."
  11. EricOverbringer (8:43:03 PM): "Hey, watch this"
  12. shinigamikitsune (8:43:09 PM): Now the yelling? That's attracting attention.
  13. DecepticonAF (8:43:12 PM): Supernova teleports onto the scene in his usual flash of light. "This is the place?" And a nice hello to you too.
  14. EricOverbringer (8:43:15 PM): *then there was a huge explosion blasting the door down*
  15. Dragomorph (8:43:42 PM): "It's not about whether you need help, it's a matter of HOLY --" He gets down as the explosion occurs.
  16. IckyChips (8:44:13 PM): Gordon does as well. "JEEZUS, What the--"
  17. shinigamikitsune (8:44:26 PM): And with the boom the door collapses, and through slots in the window RPG-like devices are pushed out shooting high-speed lawn darts at the party. Better hurry!
  18. EricOverbringer (8:44:53 PM): Marisa is already flying in. She looks like she's having fun.
  19. DecepticonAF (8:45:28 PM): Supernova's not far behind her.
  20. shinigamikitsune (8:46:05 PM): Some of the shooters moved away from the window to go after Marisa and Supernova
  21. IckyChips (8:46:14 PM): Gordon draws his gun and takes into a sprint after them, supplying some cover fire. Some, but not much.
  22. Dragomorph (8:46:28 PM): "Yeow!" Kotetsu manages to roll out of the way of the darts for the most part. He gets up. "Oi! Wait for me!" He runs in after them somewhat awkwardly.
  23. EricOverbringer (8:46:36 PM): Marisa shouts to the room beyond at large "Alright! Which of you is behind this incident? It's causing trouble for everyone!"
  24. Dragomorph (8:47:33 PM): Kotetsu runs up to her, trying his best to block the shots aiming her way. "Gimme a break!"
  25. DecepticonAF (8:47:58 PM): Any darts aimed at Supernova disappear long before they make any contact.
  26. IckyChips (8:48:33 PM): Gordon... doesn't have much in the way of deflection, so he's falling back on his tried and true strategy of running like hell and seeking cover where he can!
  27. shinigamikitsune (8:48:44 PM): Several men in white face stared at the group incredulously as Marisa barges in.
  28. shinigamikitsune (8:49:23 PM): The stare was short lived as they aimed to fire once more, one could be heard muttering something along the lines it's not in their job descriptions
  29. shinigamikitsune (8:49:26 PM): (Battle!)
  30. shinigamikitsune (8:50:29 PM): (6x clowns with lawn darts. Initative: Marisa, Supernova, Clowns, Kotetsu, Gordon)

  32. EricOverbringer (8:51:51 PM): Marisa is only vaguely familiar with guns, but she's figured out that they're bad, so she chucks a sleeping gas grenade in the midst of the biggest concentration of clowns she can see before corkscrewing off to the side in an elaborate evasive maneuver that she didn't know she could pull off.+
  33. shinigamikitsune (8:53:42 PM): They scattered, but one trips, falling victim to the gas, several shoot darts at Marisa in an attempt to nail her+
  34. shinigamikitsune (8:53:49 PM): (Marisa React, Supernova)
  35. EricOverbringer (8:54:40 PM): She hops off her broom to the floor to avoid the darts, then reaches out one hand to the broom which zips down to her like an obediant puppy.+
  36. DecepticonAF (8:54:55 PM): Supernova teleports into the air behind one of the clowns, aiming a swift kick at the back of his head.+
  37. shinigamikitsune (8:59:36 PM): *The clown lets out a yelp, going down like a sack of potatoes, as several more fire at Supernova while he's kicking their comrade down*+
  38. shinigamikitsune (8:59:42 PM): (supernova react)
  39. DecepticonAF (9:01:21 PM): He teleports again, this time to the other side of the room.+
  40. shinigamikitsune (9:04:22 PM): The clowns start aiming for Gordon, though two of them dropped their weapons and flee.

  42. shinigamikitsune (9:04:37 PM): (gordon react, Kotetsu)
  43. IckyChips (9:06:48 PM): Gordon had been keeping to the crates of supplies and floor models, and now ducks into the mess of surplus. shit shit shit...
  44. IckyChips (9:06:53 PM): He notices something useful, and with a large shove topples a huge novelty slot machine over in the direction of the firing clowns.+
  45. Dragomorph (9:07:26 PM): Kotetsu doesn't even think these guys are worth charging up for, and plows right through their pathetic firing attempts to smack one in the jaw.
  46. shinigamikitsune (9:15:07 PM): The clowns were dropped - one pinned under the slot machine, and one dropped. Leaving none behind, and a large, dark room with an odd circular waist-high fench separating the center of the warehouse from the outer edge.
  47. EricOverbringer (9:16:09 PM): Marisa paid the fence absolutely no attention from her position eight feet in the air. "Hmm, I bet none of them were the ones in charge."
  48. Dragomorph (9:16:35 PM): Kotetsu: Gee,, thanks, wouldn't 'a figured that out! So this has gotta be the place Joker's been working outta, right?
  49. EricOverbringer (9:16:38 PM): "Well if you're gonna help you might as well help. Let's look around here and see if we can find the villain."
  50. shinigamikitsune (9:16:53 PM): The dart guns are open to examination, as is the various crates and boxes
  51. IckyChips (9:16:53 PM): Gordon worms his way out of the machine stockpile and after a moment's thought, grabs one of the clowns' dart guns. The one with the most ammo. It may come in handy.
  52. IckyChips (9:17:21 PM): He'll also pick up one of the fired darts and look it over... carefully.
  53. DecepticonAF (9:18:01 PM): "Either this is his hideout or he has henchmen guarding a random warehouse. The Joker's mad, but I don't think he's quite that mad."
  54. shinigamikitsune (9:18:32 PM): There's something dripping from the darts.
  55. Dragomorph (9:18:49 PM): Kotetsu sighs. "Good grief." He walks over, looking down over the fence. "The hell do you suppose this area's for anyway?"
  56. shinigamikitsune (9:19:22 PM): There seem to be some kind of decorative flooring, but it's too dark to see what exactly it is, kind of slick though.
  57. IckyChips (9:19:31 PM): "Plus, of all the places for that nutjob to be..." He turns the dart up to see the drip against the light. "Better watch out with these darts. They're filled with something, and I've got a hunch I know what it is."
  58. shinigamikitsune (9:20:11 PM): Suddenly!
  59. shinigamikitsune (9:20:26 PM): There's a loud squealing of feedback from some nestled away speaker systems
  60. Dragomorph (9:20:56 PM): "Gah!" He covers his ears, or attempts to before remembering his ears are already covered.
  61. IckyChips (9:21:14 PM): "Nnngh!" Gordon cringes, clapping hands over his ears as well.
  62. EricOverbringer (9:21:20 PM): Marisa wincs

  64. DecepticonAF (9:22:09 PM): Supernova recoils, covering his own ears.
  65. shinigamikitsune (9:22:53 PM): "Greeeeeeetings! Is this on? Oh well! It's your old pal the joker. I have to say you're a little early, you know it isn't nice to come in with permission." A familiar taunting voice rings out
  66. Dragomorph (9:23:36 PM): Kotetsu: Joker! Show yourself so we can beat the crap outta ya properly!
  67. shinigamikitsune (9:23:44 PM): "But oh well, guess I'll have to host the housewarming party a little early."
  68. IckyChips (9:24:11 PM): Gordon: Housewarming...
  69. shinigamikitsune (9:24:34 PM): There's a low whirr, something is opening. "Let's greet our hostest with the Mostest! Cooooome on out! Meheheheee..."
  70. IckyChips (9:26:28 PM): Gordon readies the... ostensibly colorful dart gun. "Yeah, c'mon out. I got a little theory I wanna test, and an animal like you would work just fine."
  71. EricOverbringer (9:27:12 PM): Marisa: "You're obviously the one behind all those whackos running around in stupid outfits. Come out here so I can punish you properly!"
  72. shinigamikitsune (9:41:44 PM): And suddenly all the lights went on - bright, with dozens of smaller, more colorful lights from slot, keno, and video poker machines with bells, whistles, and electronic music playing.
  73. shinigamikitsune (9:42:08 PM): "Let's give a warm welcome to our host-!"
  74. Dragomorph (9:42:37 PM): Kotetsu shields his eyes a bit. "The hell?"
  75. AlopexPlasma (9:42:53 PM): There's something standing in the center of the roulette table.
  76. AlopexPlasma (9:43:28 PM): It's small, round, and white, and is wearing a very flamboyant spangle-studded mask-cape combo.
  77. AlopexPlasma (9:43:46 PM): And it is carrying an oversized miniature cannon.
  78. IckyChips (9:43:48 PM): Gordon aims! And... doesn't fire. In fact he boggles instead.
  79. AlopexPlasma (9:43:51 PM): "Ohohohohohohohoho~"
  80. shinigamikitsune (9:43:55 PM): "Theeeeee Marshmellow Menace - jeeze, even I think that's a pathetic name. Hoo! Go 'em, fluffball"
  81. Dragomorph (9:44:03 PM): Kotetsu: Wha -- MOKONA?!
  82. AlopexPlasma (9:44:21 PM): "Mokona is dead~ Only the Marshmallow Menace remains, silly!"
  83. EricOverbringer (9:44:34 PM): Marisa scratched her head, "What that thing supposed to do?"
  84. IckyChips (9:44:56 PM): "I don't know, but I bet that canon has something to do with it."
  85. DecepticonAF (9:45:05 PM): Supernova mumbles to himself. "Is /that/ where the little fuzzball's been?"
  86. shinigamikitsune (9:45:39 PM): Joker: "What, you haven't notice it was gone? Some friends you lot turn out to be."
  87. Dragomorph (9:46:17 PM): Kotetsu: I'VE BEEN KINDA BUSY! NO IDEA WHY *THAT* COULD POSSIBLY BE THE FRIGGIN CASE!
  88. IckyChips (9:47:12 PM): Gordon: Tiger? Kinda need you to stay focused, buddy.
  89. DecepticonAF (9:47:23 PM): Supernova: Calm down, Tiger.
  90. shinigamikitsune (9:47:39 PM): Joker: Hey! I recognize that voice, is that you Captain Hipster?
  91. Dragomorph (9:47:54 PM): Kotetsu: It's Wild Tiger! WILD TIGER! Get it right!
  92. AlopexPlasma (9:48:34 PM): "Mou... Enough talking! The Marshmallow Menace is getting bored!" The Menace aims and fires. Apparently that goofy little cannon is some sort of... rocket launcher?
  93. shinigamikitsune (9:49:01 PM): And right on cue the Roulette wheel - the one Kotetsu is standing on starts to spin.
  94. shinigamikitsune (9:49:09 PM): (Everyone versus Mokona!)
  95. shinigamikitsune (9:49:22 PM): (Mokona, Marisa, Gordon, Mokona, Kotetsu)

  99. AlopexPlasma (9:51:23 PM): Mokona tucks the cannon into her mouth via application of FUCK YOU I'M TOO CUTE FOR PHYSICS and launches herself at Captain Hipster's stupid catbeard face. (Kotetsu react!)
  100. Dragomorph (9:51:50 PM): Kotetsu: Yeow!
  101. Dragomorph (9:52:31 PM): Kotetsu is having a hard time keeping his balance, but he attempts to reach out and snag Mokona in mid-air anyway.

  103. shinigamikitsune (9:53:15 PM): (Mokona react, Marisa)
  104. AlopexPlasma (9:55:20 PM): Mokona bounces off his arm and goes speeding through the air.+
  105. EricOverbringer (9:55:43 PM): Marisa loops around towards Mokona, hopping off her broom at the last moment so she can use it as a baseball bat and hit the Marshmallow Menace across the room.+
  106. shinigamikitsune (9:55:57 PM): (Mokona react! Gordon)
  107. AlopexPlasma (9:58:11 PM): Redirect successful, but the Menace is unscathed! She pulls out the Mallowzooka again and opens sweet sticky fire upon her latest aggressor.
  108. EricOverbringer (9:58:40 PM): Marisa evades with a barrelrol!+
  109. IckyChips (9:59:19 PM): Gordon decides to throw a wrench into things. Or rather, a crowbar. A quick flip and he stabs it into space beneith the roulette wheel. That ought to slow it up.
  110. AlopexPlasma (9:59:19 PM): Note, Mokona is also heading directly for Gordon's face by luck and chance.+

  112. AlopexPlasma (9:59:30 PM): (ignore that last part then)
  113. AlopexPlasma (9:59:52 PM): (she can be en route to whoever's next in line)
  114. shinigamikitsune (10:00:35 PM): The wheel jerks, and jumps in place but the wedging slows it down. During this time, Joker pokes his head out of the supervisor's booth to watch.
  115. shinigamikitsune (10:00:40 PM): (Supernova!)
  116. DecepticonAF (10:02:35 PM): Well if Mokona's headed his way, anyway, he's going to try to catch her like a football.+
  117. AlopexPlasma (10:04:13 PM): Supernova now has a handful of furious supervillain firing marshmallows wildly into his mask.
  118. AlopexPlasma (10:04:39 PM): Enjoy....? +

  121. DecepticonAF (10:06:33 PM): Oh thank god he's wearing a full-faced mask if this crap got in his hair.... He tries to wrench the bazooka away from Mokona.+
  122. Dragomorph (10:07:12 PM): "JoKER!" Wild Tiger activates, and immediately leaps up towards where Joker's face is to give it the punch it's desperately asking for.+
  123. AlopexPlasma (10:07:54 PM): It fails; she's too stretchy to be outright pried off.

  125. shinigamikitsune (10:08:54 PM): "Whoopsies!" Joker suddenly darts back into the booth - the punch hitting one of the beams in the wall. The door on the other side of the booth pops open, and the mad clown starts skipping away on the catwalk.

  129. IckyChips (10:13:58 PM): He's not getting away that easily! The dart gun may be unfamilar but he'll shoot in Joker's path of travel from the warehouse floor anyway. At worst? He'll stop him in his tracks. At best...?

  131. shinigamikitsune (10:18:33 PM): Joker yelps, comically holding his foot, and continuning to hop forward. "Ow ouch, owie! You'll pay for that, pencilneck!"+
  132. Dragomorph (10:19:44 PM): Kotetsu grabs the booth, and swings over to the catwalk. "I'm taking you in, Joker!"

  134. AlopexPlasma (10:20:40 PM): Mokona lets go of the mallowzooka and tries biting Supernova's nose.
  135. AlopexPlasma (10:20:51 PM): "The Menace cannot be contained~!"

  138. EricOverbringer (10:21:58 PM): Marisa dismisses the Marshmallow Menace as small fry and flies up into the rafters to cut The Joker off with a pair of confusion gas grenades
  139. shinigamikitsune (10:22:10 PM): The Joker swings, yanking down the handle of a slot machine before trying to race away, but it's clear the foot he's hit with is getting numb+
  140. DecepticonAF (10:23:10 PM): "Gah!" Supernova fumbles and drops Mokona. Yes good excellent work.+
  141. shinigamikitsune (10:23:26 PM): As Marisa flies up the slot machine finishes spinning -

  144. shinigamikitsune (10:24:18 PM): Jackpot! And the machine is LOADED - spraying coins everywhere, pennies, nickles and dimes from heaven, making the catwalk slippery and hitting everything below it+

  146. Dragomorph (10:25:30 PM): Naturally, Kotetsu slips. Thankfully, he is not in a situation where he needs a Princess Carry. So screw y'all.+
  147. AlopexPlasma (10:26:00 PM): The Menace squeals, inhales a mouthful of currency, and spits it all out at Supernova's kneecaps.+
  148. EricOverbringer (10:26:44 PM): Marisa hides behind a support beam from the coins. She's not worried about footing, obviously, as she can fly.+
  149. IckyChips (10:27:23 PM): Gordon covers his head and ducks under the cover of some decorative metal palm trees, but the sudden stop causes him to slip and nearly drop the dart gun.

  151. DecepticonAF (10:28:54 PM): As tempted as it would be to punt Mokona halfway across the room, that would be Unheroic and thus is not an option. Instead, Supernova opts for a tactical retreat, teleporting to above the catwalk's level while he tries to pull some marshmallow off his mask. So dignified.

  154. IckyChips (10:33:48 PM): Gordon takes off after the joker himself at ground level, yanking his crowbar out of the roulette wheel, Mokona for the moment forgotten.
  155. IckyChips (10:33:52 PM): Climbing up onto crate upon crate, he hopes to head him off by the time he makes his way up there. If the Joker shows, he'll fire. +
  156. shinigamikitsune (10:34:42 PM): (supernova!)
  157. DecepticonAF (10:37:35 PM): OK, marshmallow goop cleared out enough that visibility at least is back at 100%. GOOD. ENOUGH. Supernova teleports in front of Joker and takes a swing.+
  158. shinigamikitsune (10:39:05 PM): Joker pratfalls, a card slides out from his sleeve and is flung right at Supernova's face! "Don't scare people like that!"+

  160. Dragomorph (10:40:13 PM): Kotetsu manages to get his footing -- after a bit -- and jumps down to try and get up behind the Joker. He attempts a tackle.+
  161. shinigamikitsune (10:41:24 PM): "Whoops!" He ducks, intending for Kotetsu to slam into Supernova before trying to stagger towards the fire exit+

  164. Dragomorph (10:44:57 PM): Well, we hope Supernova's reflexes are faster than Kotetsu's are, because his forward momentum's a bit much right now.
  165. DecepticonAF (10:45:23 PM): Supernova teleports out of the way in a literal flash. SORRY BRO.+
  166. Dragomorph (10:45:43 PM): Welp. Now he's just in an undignified heap. Such is life.+
  167. AlopexPlasma (10:46:55 PM): Mokona goes for the back of Gordon's head in a ferocious marshmallow frenzy. Is that a fluffernutter hose...?

  169. shinigamikitsune (10:47:53 PM): (Gordon react! Marisa!)
  170. EricOverbringer (10:49:03 PM): While everyone else is busy, Marisa gives chase to the Joker, chucking grenades at him.+
  171. IckyChips (10:49:54 PM): The last thing he expected was the fuzzball bearing heavy weaponry! Gordon is well and truly glopped with the stuff, hair, glasses, everything, and reacts by bodily grabbing Mokona and attempting to toss her away.

  174. shinigamikitsune (10:51:40 PM): Joker starts hacking, flinging the emergency door open - setting off alarms, and sprinklers, making a sticky mess even stickier. A madman had to be behind the safety measures of this warehouse. He tilts dangerously close to falling off the fireescape outside+
  175. EricOverbringer (10:52:12 PM): Marisa: "Give it up! You can't out run me!"
  176. shinigamikitsune (10:52:34 PM): Joker: Persistent little... *hack*
  177. AlopexPlasma (10:54:04 PM): Good job Gordon. Mokona is now running free in the chaos of the warehouse. She leaps on the fallen Kotetsu and....
  178. AlopexPlasma (10:54:13 PM): starts going through his pockets.+
  179. AlopexPlasma (10:54:40 PM): (the suit may not have pockets but shes still gonna look for them)
  180. Dragomorph (10:55:07 PM): "Hey hey hey hey knock it off!" He begins flailing.

  184. DecepticonAF (10:58:24 PM): Supernova teleports to the outside of the building. "We've got you now, Joker!" He tries to grab ahold of the nefarious clown.+
  185. shinigamikitsune (10:59:49 PM): Joker swings. "You'll never take me alive!" He tries to jerk away from the hero, and goes over! Can you get him?!+

  187. DecepticonAF (11:01:06 PM): He's sure as hell going to try and grab him! Maybe not terribly /gently/ but hey he's a villain who cares about being delicate with him.+

  191. Dragomorph (11:05:21 PM): Kotetsu squirms for a while longer before finally bursting upwards angrily, attempting to snag the little wannabe thief. "KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY!"+

  193. AlopexPlasma (11:08:09 PM): She's out of marshmallow and getting low on energy. She just kind of... clings to his hand and bites it. Hey, it's worked before.... +
  194. Dragomorph (11:10:21 PM): Kotetsu raises his arm, raising an eyebrow.
  195. EricOverbringer (11:10:53 PM): Marisa: "Oh good you got hi."

  198. DecepticonAF (11:12:04 PM): Supernova nods. "Thanks for the assist."
  199. IckyChips (11:13:13 PM): "Ghh... good." Gordon mutters down below. Still perched on the crates, he's fighting a losing battle with that marshmallow stuff. It's all over him. Not his finest hour.

  217. DecepticonAF (11:22:10 PM): Supernova has his hands a little too fool to help with Mokona, but he quietly takes note of Gordon's terrible eyesight. I mean. Not that this information is in any way useful to him why would it ever be.
