In this guide i explain you everything about dota 2 changer.

First of all: NOONE responsible to ANY problems, you use it ON YOUR OWN RISK ONLY!

Noone can promiss you this is safe for now or in future.

I understand, this programm give me an opportunity to use any existed modifications with a risk being banned one day, when valve decide to block accounts, what has been spotted with client.dll tweaks.
I understand, noone on Reddit, VK, Facebook, or any another resources will NOT give me a guarantees of safe, im on my own.
I understand, Shutnik just a crator of modifications what can be used with override, but have no responsibility about any methods of unlocking Matchmaking while -override_vpk activated.
I understand, dota 2 changer developers also can not promiss me any VAC safeness.

If you agree with that, you can read deeper.
Otherwise, play original game, or with valve official -enable_addons.
For now valve add to -enable_addons icons, sounds and scripts only.
No materials, textures or models can be moded without override.

================= About the programm, basics, how to use ==================

What is dota 2 changer?
It is a complex tool, with huge database of mods, and many of options to make dota look like you wish in a couple of clicks.

How to use it:
Download and put programm folder inside the dota2beta\dota
Launch, update if needeed
If programm refuse to start, you need to update NetFramework, default windows tool.
You can download it directly from microsoft site.

All User Interface have english translation from v.3.1.0 and older
So you probably feel no problems with it even without me.

Note: programm PATCH YOUR CLIENT.DLL WHEN YOU START IT, no way back.
Need to be done after every official dota 2 update.

Main page have 5 subpages, common items, items with effects, unofficial mods, other and sound.
If you check something, it appears in the right side.
This list saved after you close the programm btw.
All mods will be installed one by one when you done your list.

Next page contain loading screens huds and announcers, nothing special.
Replaces default.

Designer page give you an opportunity to make your own cfg file.
Binds, alliases, minimap settings.
Courier designer in deep beta, better leave it.
Icons not so usefull so ye, also leave it. (just an advice)

Next page, rollback help you to delete modifications.
For one hero\mod type\or specific mod.
Or everything, back to vanilla.

Page about have a list of content creators and donations.
D2C HAVE NOTHING ABOUT DONATE TO ME.
If you wish to donate the programm - go on, thats your business,
but if you want to donate me, dont make a mistake.
I have my own donation wallets, not listed anywhere inside d2c.

================= Common problems ==================

Huds not working - reinstall your game.
Check game chache will not help.

VpkFileIsOutdated - unfixable for now.

Game says "use -enable_addons instead" - close game and launch programm again.

Could not library client - error with local language. Download client.dll separated.

================= Future of the programm ==================

We dont know yet.
Probably everything stop working after the source 2 update.

================= How to install mods what is not yet in D2C? ==================

Just read install notes.
99% time its just drag and drop to \dota2beta\dota folder.
If override required you need to launch programm anyway.
