  3. So the topic of LCS+Booths came up again. So I started thinking about what kind of game design could make a competitive eSport without making use of fog of war or other hidden elements that separate traditional sports from competitive gaming.

  5. Currently, something like Hearthstone definitely won't suffer from the crowd giving away that a team is sneaking a Baron. Even in CSGO, individual players have an individual field of view that kind of acts as an "impromptu fog of war," but the crowd could still give away some significant flank strats if they're loud enough to make the defensive team wary of an incoming out-maneuver.
