Elly is the reincarnation of a woman of the same name, from a city called Nisan, long lost during the great war. The city acting as an neutral party in the fight between Pokemon and Humans, they acted as a bastion of salvation for those whose homes were ravaged by Pokemon and Humans alike. Acting as leader of the city of Nisan, she was a woman viewed as a mother to all, although she would not necessarily give herself that title.

Her husband, Lacan, a renowned scientist, specialized in robotics (although was working on introducing organic components to the field of robotics). Creating machines and robots to help protect the city as well as to serve other purposes, most of them were either deactivated or lost to time and antiquity.

Despite acting as a neutral party, Nisan was seen by some as Pokemon sympathizers, and, because of that, were attacked by other Humans. Attempts to negotiate were met with conflict and, because of this, fighting broke out within the city. It was during one of these fights that, to defend her husband and others around her, Elly sacrificed herself, intercepting a bomber and throwing herself in front of a blast, taking the brunt of the damage.
