  1. Today I purchased a Gioteck HC1 Stereo Gaming Headset from Argos. If you've never been to Argos before, basically you don't see the item until after you've paid for it, you take an order number from their big book and pay at the till, then queue again to get your item.
  2. So, despite the description assuring me the headset was compatible with PS4, Xbox One and PC, there is of course a small print on the side of the box which reads 'PC - composite in/out socket required'.
  3. For the life of me, I can't work out what this means. When I plug into the headphone jack, it works fine (but no microphone). When I plug into the microphone jack and do audio test, the result is I can't be heard, and also, no sound is is received through the headset, it goes through the speakers.
  4. What do I need to do please? Returning isn't really an easy option, so I'm hoping I just need to purchase something to fix my woes. Any help appreciated!
