Do it away from the nest, closer to the farm, where she will feel less threatened because she will have room to flee and no obligation to stand her ground. She seems to like jerky, so use some of that to lure her in. Try not to get diced in the process. The goal is to get her to trust us enough to let us study the nest, and maybe even letting us catch her.
