  11. The code did have a connection to IE: the warnings showing up in
  12. Firefox's console were caused by some IE-specific Javascript code (a
  13. transparency filter for the news ticker in the site's header area).

  15. That code has now been wrapped in a IE browser-test, so it shouldn't
  16. trigger the warnings anymore.

  18. It should be noted, however, that the site's functionality was not
  19. impaired by this issue.
