  1. Here's the things you'll need to know how to edit:
  2.
  3. -Italicised and bolded text are to have <i></i> and <b></b> tags added to them respectively.
  4.
  5. -Some extra line breaks are present. Wordpress leaves one line break, no matter how many there were at first, in the final text by default. So extra line breaks must be inserted with (&nbsp;). Without the brackets, of course.
  6.
  7. -References are to be numbered them in sequential order like so: 1.1 indicating Chapter 1, note 1, 4.7 indicating Chapter 4, note 7 and so on.
  8.
  9. So you'll turn this:
  10.
  11. This sentence contains a weird reference that won't be understood[1].
  12.
  13. Into this:
  14.
  15. This sentence contains a weird reference that won't be understood<a href="#1.1"><span id="back1.1">1</span></a>
  16.
  17. Another example:
  18.
  19. Before: This sentence contains a weird reference that won't be understood[7].
  20.
  21. After: This sentence contains a weird reference that won't be understood<a href="#4.7"><span id="back4.7">7</span></a>
  22.
  23. And then the notes at the bottom of each chapter need their own treatment as well. This is where the "back1.1" bit comes into play.
  24.
  25. From this:
  26.
  27. 1. This is the explanation given.
  28.
  29. To this:
  30.
  31. 1. <span id="1.1"><a href="#back1.1">^</a> And this is the explanation given.</span>
  32.
  33. For those who'd like to know what's happening, I'm creating two anchor tags here. The first one, brings you down to the bottom of the page and where the reference is to read. The second one, the "^" appearing as part of the reference, brings you back to where you were reading before you clicked on the reference. That's why it's named "back1.1" as a counterpart to "1.1," the actual reference.
  34.
  35. Use the below as a sample chapter. Make a new paste from the text in the hyperlink below below and give me the link via Gmail when you're done. Ensure the Paste Exposure is set to 'Unlisted' or I'll have a dozen Chapter 1s floating around the Internet for all eternity...
