  1. Switching Combatants
  2.
  3. When a Trainer withdraws their active Pokemon for another in a non-interference fight, such as a League Battle, the Pokemon they switch to cannot act its first round out. In a battle with Trainer interference, they are permitted to so.
  4.
  5. The exception to this rule, for non-interference fights, is when a Trainer's active Pokemon is Knocked Out and they send out a new one, it may act as normal. However, if the KO was due to use of an Interrupt Move, such as Quick Attack, the Pokemon who used the interrupt does not have their turn reset for that round. For example, if a Ninjask uses Slash on a Bulbasaur, and then uses Quick Attack as the Bulbasaur acts, and this KO's it, that Ninjask cannot act the following round when a new Pokemon is sent out.
