- If you're attending a winter con, and it's a decent drive (or it's a smaller con at a place which might not have a generator) ALWAYS bring an emergency winter kit (Blankets, water, food, heat source, light source, cat litter or sand to grip the road) and BE CAREFUL. It's worth your life to show up late. If it's a summer con make sure you don't get overheated. Lots of water, and stay cool! Heat stroke is good for nobody, especially far from home.
- Always remember your epipen if you have life-threatening allergies, even if it's something like a bee and it's winter. You never know what could happen, and it's better to be safe than sorry.
