  1. I want to learn more about the making of games due to the fact I enjoy artistic creation, as well as storytelling. More so, I enjoy having the ability to sculpt experiences that will bring joy or sorrow to the viewer/consumer.
  2.
  3. With such emergent technologies as the hololens, rift, & samsung gear, there has never been a better time to get on the ground floor with game development, or even to partner with them and craft experiences.
  4.
  5. I bring a wealth cultural experience to game development. I've immersed myself in the Japanese culture first hand, and spend the bulk of my non-gamedev free time immersed in literature from various cultures. On top of this, I have a love for all things history and often incorporate such passions into my work. When history doesn't do it for me, you'll find me reading papers or participating in discussions on the topic of futurology. I believe these experiences allow me to craft and create some marvelously immersive experiences.

  7. When it comes to the skills I can bring to gamedev, I would have to say that my ability to think logically, programmatically, and use my knack for solving puzzles to help me not only create, but also finish my projects. Anyone involved in solo game development as a hobby can attest to how common it is to see other developers move on to other projects, never finishing the ones they are on.

  9. I happen to also have first hand experience with the Unity3D engine. Not just the engine itself, I am self taught with C# (I would humbly label myself a beginner though) and I have experience with other engines as well (RPG Maker XP/VX/VXA, Construct2), which I have been tinkering with since the age of 15, shortly after I left home and subsequently school.

  11. I believe both my passion for game development, along side my life experience, give me an exceptional edge when it comes to the subject of game development. I hope you'll make the right decision.
