  1. The Green Hills of Earth
  2.
  3. Original words by Robert A. Heinlein, C.L. Morre and Henry Kuttner.Additional words by Chuck Rein. Some minor additions and editing by Victor Van der Sterren.
  4.
  5. The arching sky is calling
  6. Spacemen back to their trade
  7. All hands! Stand by! Free falling!
  8. And the lights below us fade.
  9.
  10. Out ride the sons of Terra
  11. Far drives the thundering jet
  12. Up leaps a race of Earthmen
  13. Out, far, and onward yet-
  14.
  15. The stars that shine around us
  16. Are torches on the road
  17. The Black, extending outward
  18. Is with great peril sowed.
  19.
  20. We embark on our adventure-
  21. Return and count the losses worth
  22. To see across the darkness
  23. The cool, green hills of Earth.
  24.
  25. We rot in the molds of Venus
  26. We retch at her tainted breath
  27. Foul are her flooded jungles,
  28. Crawling with unclean death.
  29.
  30. Let the sweet fresh breezes heal me
  31. As they rove around the girth
  32. Of our lovely mother planet
  33. Of the cool, green hills of Earth
  34.
  35. The harsh bright soil of Luna
  36. Silent and dead as the grave
  37. Holds not the souls of Earthmen
  38. Whos lives for Earth's they gave.
  39.
  40. Across the seas of darkness
  41. The good green Earth is bright-
  42. Oh, star that was my homeland
  43. Shine down on me tonight.
  44.
  45. The rust-red Martian deserts
  46. Her lonely wandering sands
  47. Are naught but lifeless visions
  48. To who on her surface stands.
  49.
  50. My heart turns home in longing
  51. Across the voids between,
  52. To know beyond the spaceways
  53. The hills of Earth are green.
  54.
  55. We, in the frozen nights of Titan
  56. Dream of Saturn's rainbow rings
  57. Yet in all our waking hours
  58. It's the Earth alone that sings.
  59.
  60. We've tried each spinning space mote
  61. And reckoned its true worth;
  62. Take us back again to the homes of men
  63. On the cool, green hills of Earth.
  64.
  65. We pray for one last landing
  66. On the globe that gave us birth
  67. Let us rest our eyes on the fleecy skies
  68. And the cool, green hills of Earth.
