- If you are unable to communicate in a sufficiently apt manner, then the ideas and concepts you attempt to convey will be completely lost on the recipient, as you are unable to define them with clarity.
- I believe that language and the mind form each other, if you don't have the vocabulary to elaborate on your notions, then they will be lost in translation.
- Another argument for the same cause is that language has a certain weight to it. Words have a particular power when spoken, some more than others. If you have a small vocabulary, you can cannot define yourself in the manner in which you intended and the effect on the audience will be lost.
- Spelling is the same, if you make numerous spelling mistakes, then the readers generally think less of you than if you are articulate.
- In private conversation I have no care for eloquence or comme il faut grammar, but in a piece that is meant for the internet, such as a discussion or argument, it is particularly important for the stating of your case.
