Eloquence and internet discussion.

If you are unable to communicate in a sufficiently apt manner, then the ideas and concepts you attempt to convey will be completely lost on the recipient, as you are unable to define them with clarity.

I believe that language and the mind form each other, if you don't have the vocabulary to elaborate on your notions, then they will be lost in translation.

Another argument for the same cause is that language has a certain weight to it. Words have a particular power when spoken, some more than others. If you have a small vocabulary, you can cannot define yourself in the manner in which you intended and the effect on the audience will be lost.

Spelling is the same, if you make numerous spelling mistakes, then the readers generally think less of you than if you are articulate.

In private conversation I have no care for eloquence or comme il faut grammar, but in a piece that is meant for the internet, such as a discussion or argument, it is particularly important for the stating of your case.
