  1. {{M4R|Needs reviewing. Wording errors, plot issues.}}
  2. ''Author's note: This is my first Creepy Pasta, and, obviously, it is very bad. Please leave feedback on my work, so I may improve with time.''
  3.
  4. You may think that Bob doesn't sound like a name that can inflict too much fear (no offence to anyone named Bob), but for me that changed once I got an Email from a friend.
  5.
  6. But we're getting a little to ahead of ourselves, let me introduce myself.
  7.
  8. My name is Daniel, I am a 19 year old student at the Kingston London University. I usually hang out with my close friend, an arts student named Michel. We first met at a program to help depressed students, from that, you can see, we all had problems in the past with depression, but now we don't like to bring these memories up.
  9.
  10. As you can see, I'm also a massive hypocrite, 2 paragraphs ago, I was complaining we're going to fast, but now I'm getting off topic.
  11.
  12. On a Saturday night, while I was cramming hard for an upcoming exam, Michel sent me an Email.
  13.
  14. "''Hey bro, I just wanted to wish you luck on that exam, remember not to push yourself too far, you have more than enough time to get at least a C+, if you're getting a little stressed out, try this virtual toy, it's really fun."''
  15.
  16. "Best wishes, Michel.''"''
  17.
  18. He then gave me a link to a site, that I will not show you, due to reasons you will see further in the story.
  19.
  20. I was getting pretty tired of staring at books for 5 hours in a row, so I went to the link, which bought me to a blank page, with a stick figure with a wide smile in the middle of it. An arrow pointed to him, with the words "this is Bob" at the end of it.
  21.
  22. Another text message popped up, "Say hi, Bob". The stick figure looked towards the screen and a few seconds later a bunch of yellow text popped up next to him "Hello". It looked like it was done in MS Paint.
  23.
  24. At that point, a bunch of instructions appeared to the right of the screen, only stating: "Click on Bob's limbs and see what happens! :3". I did as I was told, I clicked on Bob's elbow, and it simply got cut off his lower arm, spewing cartoon-like blood everywhere.
  25.
  26. I was a really thick, easily amused bastard, and this lead to me laughing my arse off. However, the next comment of Bob's made me suddenly stop and look at the screen with wide eyes like an idiot.
  27.
  28. "Why are you laughing?" asked Bob, by now, blood stopped spewing out of the cut, and my laughing abruptly stopped. While I was sitting there, speechless at what the game did, the words "Why?" continued popping up on screen.
  29.
  30. I've had enough of it, I had a big exam in a couple days and the last thing I needed was to play some sort of horror game and not be able to sleep.
  31.
  32. I shut off my computer, read a couple more books and went to bed.
  33.
  34. The next day I stayed at home to practice for the test, but I couldn't concentrate, every time I tried to remember or read something, the image of Bob came in my mind, and I would get carried away, thinking about what could happen after that. It was driving me insane, but no matter after how many naps, cigarettes or cups of coffee I took, the image wouldn't go away! By then, I decided to finish the game, it was simple, if I saw how it ends, all curiosity would go away.
  35.
  36. I then loaded up the same link and I was instantly get creeped out, Bob was still standing there, looking much paler than last time, with green splodges on his body, probably an infection, from the gaping wound that was left from last time I played with him. The "Why?" messages were nowhere to be see.
  37.
  38. At the top of the screen, there was a bunch of scribbled text:
  39.
  40. "''Are you proud of yourself? y/n''"
  41.
  42. I, being a moral person, choose "no". However, a black screen popped up, with only white text written on it:
  43.
  44. "''YOU'RE LYING"''
  45.
  46. "YOU MONSTER''"''
  47.
  48. I was freaked out, what? I'm not a monster! I'm not proud of what has happened! Who made this, and why?!
  49.
  50. The "YOU'RE LYING" text on screen became bigger, and a screech began to come out of my speakers, that should have torn my ears apart, but somehow it didn't. A few seconds later, the screech suddenly got cut of off, and the screen moved to a picture of a gravestone, with the words: "here lies Bob", under them, the phrase: "You monster"
  51.
  52. Next to the grave, 2 other stick figures appeared, one had a dress and some blonde hair, clearly representing a woman, the other having a smaller height, being a child. They were both sobbing at the grave. Just like the "Why?" incident, the words "You monster" began popping up on screen, then some garbled, corrupted, images also began popping up on screen, I barely recognized any of them, but I realised most of them where photos from my folders, but one stood out, it was a picture of Bob, in the beginning frame.
  53.
  54. My computer than froze and restarted, as it was starting up again, I was just sitting there, speechless, scared, what have I done? I killed Bob... I then put my hands around my eyes and began crying uncontrollably and screaming "BOB, I'M SORRY!" like a total madman, at this point, I'm beginning to think I am going insane, this game has truly messed with my mind, guys.
  55.
  56. Once the computer started, I looked at my search history... nothing about the game. I was seriously freaked out. I began to lay my head on the bed and continue crying, this time because I was fearing I went completely nuts.
  57.
  58. My neighbours began complaining about the loud noises coming from my apartment, and soon called the police, who took me to the station, apparently because I was acting totally insane.
  59.
  60. After a couple months of psychiatric help, I mostly recovered from my experience, but now, I'm nothing more than an outcast, a lunatic. Sometimes I think that it would be far better to just end it all, and I'm not proud to admit that I have tried it more than once, but never succeeding. You could say that after playing that game I am doomed to a life of pain, but, I have said at the beginning of the story that I have struggled with depression in the past, and if I survived that, it would be just a waste to throw it all away.
  61.
  62. I still have vivid hallucinations and nightmares on a daily basis, but I've learnt to live with them. The most dominant of them being seeing words turned into "YOU MONSTER", until blinking and them turning back to normal and seeing a faint stick figure, without an arm, in the corner of my eye, only to disappear.
  63.
  64. After all these years, I have to say, after thinking about it, I am the monster in this story, aren't I?
