For better clarification, and more detailed regulations, this contract will be set with the employer and employee and to be refereed to in any case where a suspension, discharge, or action is fought. This contract is to ensure the smooth operation of a successful department and to refrain from involving this department in public scandals that may harm this departments imagine.

Here within, the "Los Santos Police Department" including the Staff Officers, Chief of Police, Assistant Chief of Police, Deputy Chief of Police and Commander, as well the Commanding Officer of this Departments Human Resources will be hereafter mentioned as "LSPD" "Department" "Employer" "Staff Officers" "Human Resources." In addition [b][size=150][EMPLOYEE NAME] [/size][/b]to be recognized as the "employee" "officer" "policeman" "police officer" hereafter. "Employment" is defined as a mutual agreement between "employer" and "employee" allowing for "employee" to claim to be apart of this department and perform duties of a sworn law enforcement officer, only if all proper training received, and has agreed to this Employee Contract and filled out mandatory paperwork, determined by "employer."

  49. [center][b]Section I - At Will Employment[/b][/center]
  50. "Employee" who signs this contract and printed, agrees that his time within this Department is certainly limited. Unless otherwise stated in unique employee contract "Employee" has no legal agreement to be employed with "employer." "Employee" is of course promised a changing-wage as per position. During suspension, pay will not be removed, but lowered depending on suspension reasoning. "Employer" chooses wage level during suspension. "Employee" cannot and will not sue for payments not given due to discharge or suspension. As "employee" agrees that this employment and payments are always able to be modified by "employer."

  52. [center][b]Section II - Complaints & Concerns[/b][/center]
  53. "Employee" has every right to complain against "employer" with this departments Human Resources or Internal Affairs Bureau. All complaints are promised to be reviewed, and if biased is possible, the report will be withheld from those immediately and obviously biased (determined by the Sheriff and Los Santos County Police Commission, if case comes to.). If a case where a majority of Internal Affairs Agents are involved, the report will be reviewed by a committee of citizens or DPS officials for a absolute fair punishment, though, punishments from complaints ran by DPS or Committees are suggestions, unless authorized by the Los Santos County Police Commission.
  54. "Employee" is allowed to bring concerns, suggestions etc to "employer" at any time. These shall be reviewed in the order received, and considered seriously.

  56. [center][b]Section III - Lawsuits and Representation Conditions[/b][/center]
  57. "Employee" has received sufficient training for situations they may encounter while performing their duties in the field, but not all the time. "Employer" will represent "employee" in a case where the "employee's" actions are questioned in a lawsuit. "Employer" may hire attorneys for the "employee" and represent the "employee" as a member of this Department. Though, in the case that the lawsuit is won on the side of the complainer, "employer" has authorization to further punish "employee", lower pay to cover lawyer costs, lower rank to punish etc.

In the case where the "employee" has obviously broken the rules, or violated clear and obvious regulations or training, "employer" has a right to suspend that "employee" until lawsuits are solved, and only suggest for attorneys to hire, but not pay for. "Employer" is not responsible for "employee" violating obvious orders, or performing against training.
