  1. Stay Out of My Head: The skull of an adult Caucasian male, weighing approximately 1kg with several missing molars that appear to have been crudely removed by, presumably, a pair of pliers and a series of fractures to the forehead analogous with blunt force trauma sustained from multiple impacts. The skull can be handled and examined by unaided observation, whereby it displays no anomalous properties
  2.
  3. SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties manifest when one tries to examine it with any form of tool or instrument including X-rays, cameras, scales or measuring tape, or if one should attempt to cause harm to SCP-XXXX including for the purpose of gathering scratch samples for testing.
  4.
  5. If one should attempt to perform either of these actions, SCP-XXXX will appear to remain inert for a varying amount of time as the procedure occurs, but will always give inconsistent and/or inconclusive data. During some point of the proceedings, commonly varying from seven (7) to fifteen (15) minutes of the start of observations, but have been known to occur in as little as thirty (30) seconds, an anomalous event will occur at random such as:
  6. • SCP-XXXX becoming animate and loudly weeping, “Stay out of my head” constantly.
  7. • The appearance of large men in white suits who apprehend the subject, place him/her in a straitjacket and escort them from the facility without intervention from fellow staff members.
  8. • SCP-XXXX screaming at a deafening volume with light radiating from its mouth and eye sockets, incinerating everything it shines upon.
  9. • The appearance of people who cannot possibly be present including; celebrities, the deceased, acquaintances much younger/older than their real counterparts, clones of the subject and fictional characters.
  10. • The appearance of sketches, unknown symbols and instructions scribbled erratically over every nearby flat surface and seem to detail the creation of a device of unknown purpose but are nauseating simply to look at.
  11. • Violent tectonic tremors that cause massive structural damage to all nearby structures and makes maneuvering almost impossible.
  12. • Gravity becoming reversed or rotated 90°.
  13. • The appearance of large shadowy beasts that are impossible to describe but are universally terrifying and immediately give chase.
  14. • Being instantly transported approximately 2km above the Earth’s surface.
  15. • The appearance of multiple instances of SCP-173 surrounding the subject.
  16.
  17. In every instance, at either the initial reaction to the anomalous event or at its “conclusion”, the subject will awaken to find themselves in the last location in which they achieved REM sleep with all subsequent events being nothing more than a dream. Repeated attempts have shown to trigger this effect without fail, with each subsequent event becoming more and more surreal, disturbing and/or deadly, making intentional termination theoretically impossible.
  18.
  19. (To circumvent SCP-XXXX’s effects, a D-Class personnel was given a sample of SCP-207 then ordered to perform a series of detailed tests on XXXX. Long story short, the researcher who came up with the idea ends up waking up at home having a mild existential crisis, having yet to tell anyone of his plan.)
  20.
  21. SCP-XXXX was found during a raid on a Marshall, Carter & Dark auction as a means to “experience true lucid dreaming” and as “an existential thrill ride”.
  22.
  23. ((I also am in the works of writing in the skull’s origins.))
