Madama L’Aurore – Glamrock Fairy Princess, the Lady of the Dawn.

Madama L’Aurore was born with the powers of a Leannán Sídhe – she possesses a form of psychic vampirism, and a number of fairy charm & illusion themed powers. She is effectively a Fairy Mutant, hiding out in our world. As a child, her inability to control her powers led her “mad scientist” father to experiment on her, a side effect of which gave her the ability to manipulate life energy. Though she is at least part human, some say she comes from another world, or another plane, and landing in the streets of inner city London after an explosion of teleportation magic, became angered at the corruption and inequality, causing her to don her own superhero identity. Normally, she has elf-ears and pupil-less eyes, but can use her Fae glamour to blend in as a normal human. In keeping with the psychic fairy powerset – she possess psychic projection that allows for a maskless secret identity, though is also good with disguises.

By day she is a popular local musician & actress, Ellie Prismriver, and high class escort – sometimes using these to build up connections in her vigilante career. By night, she hunts down corrupt businessmen and punishes those who stand in the way of her ideals of love and justice. Being a sort of Muse, she works best with other heroes, using her healing magic and abilities as a Fairy Mistress to inspire and enable the powers of others. However – she can also take control of those who would wish her harm, and being the daughter of a witch, has studied magic of various sorts. Her mode of power usage is themed around a mischievous fairy puppetmaster, or a stage director, reflecting her love of theatre – moving people about, cheering them on, casting illusions and bright lights… They also say her kiss can send you to sleep – her mutation on the normal abilities associated with her archetype.

One unusual feature are the flowers she wears on her head – her manipulation of life energy also gives her limited chloropathy, which allows her to “Grow” them there, and keep them in bloom.

She has a wide wardrobe(She’s based on a character I made for a D&D game), but I decided to show her in a street punk type outfit. I thought about the concept of “normal” dressed superheroes, and I came to the conclusion that we get exposed to normal people being superheroes a lot – but in real life, we have all sorts of weirdos, so why not have a street punk fairy princess sort? So I made someone that’s more like the “Normal” people I hang out with.
