  1. >February 19, 2400 hours
  2. >This is Carol from the morgue. We are sorry for your loss of your grandmother. Please come to 3214 49 Drive to discuss burial preparations and options in cremation.
  3.
  4. “That was the message passed to me on a cell phone left in my mailbox.”
  5.
  6. “And now I stand in front of the door, unsure if I will end up being blown away from the getgo or complete what I was set out to do.”
  7.
  8. “At least there will be no regrets in the end.”
  9.
  10. “Knock, knock.”
  11.
  12. >Smashing open the locked door handle, a large brutish figure wearing a boar mask holding a sledge hammer entered the morgue.
  13.
  14. >The lights inside shone brightly, with sounds of footsteps from a room behind the front desk echoing
  15.
  16. >Three punks emerged, giving a look of surprise.
  17.
  18. >Moving towards them, the figure wound up the hammer, striking one in the head, splattering gore and leaving the first punk mangled.
  19.
  20. >The sudden act of violence stunned the two others, their minds unable to grasp what just happened.
  21.
  22. >Winding up with a follow-through, the figure slammed into the other punk, smashing the head of the hammer on his arm, shattering it and bringing him down.
  23.
  24. >Grabbing the third punk by the collar of his shirt with one hand, the figure threw him down on the ground and slammed his foot on his skull.
  25.
  26. >As the punk with the broken arm tried to crawl away, the figure lifted the hammer, delivering a downward blow to the back of his head, spraying brain tissue all over.
  27.
  28. >Moving behind the door, there was nothing but an empty office, with nothing of value around
  29.
  30. >Turning towards the main room, the figure found it to be deserted, save for various caskets around and a large set of two swinging doors.
  31.
  32. >Moving towards the doors, a thumping was heard from one of the caskets.
  33.
  34. >Smashing open the casket, a blond girls lying on a pile of guns pops up looking bewildered. Grabbing her, she turns into an AR-15 in the figure’s hands.
  35.
  36. >He sets her back down gently, and motions to it to stay put or hide. As he moved away towards the double doors, the sounds of small feet could be heard as various guns of shapes and sizes made their way out quietly.
  37.
  38. >Kicking the door open, the figure entered a stretch of hallway, with the elevator at the end. The doors along the side were locked, and the space devoid of life.
  39.
  40. >Moving towards the elevator, the light above it flashed with the up signal, and a tell-tale noise that it was moving upwards towards him.
  41.
  42. >Hiding at the side, the figure swung the sledge hammer at the head of a punk getting out. A second one was completely caught off guard, buying time for the figure to throw him to the ground and slam the hammer down on his head.
  43.
  44. >With the punks dead, the figure moved into the elevator, heading to the basement.
  45.
  46. >In the basement, the figure was greeted by three more punks in the hallway, looking as though they were waiting for the two that went up.
  47.
  48. >Acting before the punks could respond to the gore soaked figure, he threw the hammer towards one, while charging in at the same time.
  49.
  50. >The figure pulled out a large knife, stabbing it into the neck of one of the punks, and quickly punching the other one still up into the wall. Slumped against it, the last thing the punk saw was the boot of the figure.
  51.
  52. >Pulling the knife out from the neck of one of the punks, the figure walked over to the one on the ground, and in a swift motion cleanly sliced his throat.
  53.
  54. >Moving to the end of the hallway, knife in hand, the figure moves through the double doors onto a group of 5 punks ready to close the door on one of the incinerators.
  55.
  56. >Two of them charge the figure immediately, while the three behind begin to close the door of an incinerator. The figure throws the knife, burying its blade in the neck of one of the three behind.
  57.
  58. >Reacting to the two punks in front, the figure kicked one in the head, and quickly slammed his fist in the temple of the other, knocking him down.
  59.
  60. >Running towards the two behind, the figure grabbed a scalpel the stabbed it one on of the punks’s eyes, and then pounded the other’s head into the wall of the incinerator.
  61.
  62. >Quickly, the figure wrenched open the door of the furnace, and threw a girl out of there. She struggled with binds and a gag, of which the figure quickly removed.
  63.
  64. >Once free, the girl immediately charged bolted out of sight and slammed into a punk from behind. Grabbing the blunt instrument he had, she repeatedly slammed it on his head.
  65.
  66. >While the girl was attacking one of the punks, the figure made his way to the one eyed punk, on the ground reeling from the previous blow, and slammed his boot onto where the scalpel stuck out. Finishing with that one, the figure grabs one of the punks still alive, the figure throws him into the incinerator locking it.
  67.
  68. >With a door suddenly opening with laughing punks coming out, their faces immediately turned to a look of horror.
  69.
  70. >The girl, getting up from her victim, immediately began to charge again, with fury in her eyes as she tried to take a swipe at them. A larger figure then appeared, grabbing the blunt object the girl swung, leaving her completely exposed.
  71.
  72. >From behind, the figure threw a punch at him before he could have full command of the weapon, sending him on the ground dazed.
  73.
  74. >However, in his attempt to rescue the girl, a fist hit him at his side. But to the surprise of the punk the figure grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and tossed him into the other punks, sending them all down.
  75.
  76. >With frightening speed, the figure slammed a knee hard into the large figure head, and grabbed his face, slamming the back of his head repeatedly against the wall, splattering gore from behind.
  77.
  78. >Grabbing the freed weapon, the girl begins to attack the other punks furiously, raining blow after blow, with fury in her eyes and tears streaming.
  79.
  80. >Soon after, the figure gets up, and finishes off the remainder of those still on the ground. Standing back up after pulverizing the last punk, he sees the girl still going at it on one of the punks. He places a hand on her shoulder.
  81.
  82. >The girl was breathing hard with tears rolling down her eyes. No more threats remained, and the room was silent, save for the sounds of an incinerator.
  83.
  84. >Nothing remained in the room. The figure saved all he could, feeling all the more angry inside that he didn’t arrive soon enough.
  85.
  86. >With the girl in tow, they walk back to the elevator, and up to the main floor. Sheparding the guns previously in the casket, he moved them into his van and drove off towards the drop off point.
  87.
  88. >At the drop off, a man and a small girl in coyote masks were waiting for him.
  89.
  90. “Hope the funeral wasn’t too hard on you, Boar.” Said the man in the coyote mask.
  91.
  92. “This was all that she left. Bunch of the family members took away with too many for my tastes.” Replied Boar.
  93.
  94. “It won’t get easier, Boar. This I can tell this is your first go, so take my advice and be glad you got something out of it.”
  95.
  96. >Making the exchange, the guns Boar was able to save moved into the back of Coyote’s truck. All expect one. Standing by his van, the girl Boar saved from the incinerator earlier that night leaned up against it, giving an air she refusing to join the others.
  97.
  98. “Hey, ‘yote. You take off, I think I’m gonna keep this one here.”
  99.
  100. “Suit yourself, Boar. You look like you could use a gun anyway.”
  101.
  102. “Take good care of her, Sir.” Said the girl in the coyote mask. And with that, the two coyotes moved into the truck and began to drive off.
  103.
  104. >Moving towards the girl, Boar grabs a pack of cigarettes from his plate carrier.
  105.
  106. “You look like you could use one.”
  107.
  108. >She gives a grunt.
  109.
  110. >Boar grabs two cigarettes, and offers one to the teenage girl. She takes his offering, while he pops one in his mouth, lights his and gives her a light. Looking at her, Boar becomes amused that his new partner is sporting what looks to be boar-like ears from her unkempt hair and a tail.
  111.
  112. “You speak English?”
  113.
  114. “Da.”
  115.
  116. “So, what rifle are you? Packed quite the punch back there.”
  117.
  118. “I am no rifle. I am Vepr-12.”
  119.
  120. “That explains it.”
  121.
  122. >She continues to stand and smoke.
  123.
  124. “Well, since you’re gonna be my gun, and that you’re already battle tested, think you deserve a name.”
  125.
  126. >Boar flicked his cigarette, and moved towards the driver’s seat.
  127.
  128. “Well, coming in, Viveca?”
  129.
  130. >Still looking blurry-eyed, Viveca dropped her cigarette.
  131.
  132. “Da.”
