OTAFA: The Sandreca Extermination

 The furries on the planet of Sandreca of the Ordovikiksodo Faction readied the defences and prepared for the incoming OTAFA fleet about to strike. Sandreca was a medium-sized fortress world and the furry sanktum Seidmas VII was guarding it from orbit, with the planetary defences of the war spires and cannons as support. He was almost certain the fleet would be defeated, it was only composed of a few ships and Seidmas's furries were some of the most dedicated.
 Suddenly, the OTAFA fleet appeared out of hyperspace prematurely, five hours before the furry prediction, which was almost always accurate down to the nanosecond. The warships of the OTAFA attack fleet formed a defensive position and wrecked the sides of Seidmas's surprised ships with devastating broadsides. "All furries, go for a direct attack on the flagship!" he ordered. The sanktum's fleet suffered a minimal loss of six frigates. Two of his furry ramships exploded in the back with their powerful engines, propelling them and their energized rams into a long tube-shaped ship, but the outcome was unexpected.
 The tube ship snapped in half and was disintegrated by the furry energy rams, but the nanomachines contained inside spilled into the void while the OTAFA fleet stayed at a safe distance. The cloud of nanomachines was destroyed partially by the rams, but the remaining ones swarmed the sides of the furry ships and ate away at the hulls. After a few seconds, the ships split apart in a last-ditch movement and huge furry organic replication spheres bubbled out of the debris of the ships. This tactic had been seen many times before and the nanomachines burst the spheres, spilling the furry infestation fluid and furultramin acid into space, which was all consumed by the machines. "Blast!" shouted Seidmas.
 The furry attack cruisers retreated to safe positions while the furry suicide bombers launched into the cloud, exploding into balls of plasma and destroying most of the machines. The rest were attracted with a grav furry and thrown off course. While the furries struggled with this, a swarm of OTAFA light frigates were heading towards the attack cruisers in cone-like formations, firing barrages of rip lasers that ripped through the plating of the furry warships, hence their name. "Everyone, retreat to Sandreca's lower orbit!" said Seidmas, panicking. "Sir, we might not need to do that," said a wolf officer. "Haha, the tide has turned!" Seidmas cried in relief, watching the planetary defences firing even from this position.
 Hundreds of light cruisers were obliterated in a salvo of plasma bombs and propelled weapon furries. Luckily, the OTAFA attack fleet had a plan. "Move the lance cruisers in positions to fire hits at the flagship. Combined, these beams may cripple the ship so our rogue furry specimen can hijack the cruiser and release furspores, doing many things," said Head Admiral Vanadtkkt of the second Hresus Expansionary Fleet seeking to conquer the southern lands of the Ordovikiksodo Faction. Their experimental devices were the halmark of their fleet and teams of communications experts and research scientists ordered and researched new technology or utilized existing technology to produce new weapons for the fleet. The ones they have just employed, the general furry matter-eating nanomachines have been used for eons, but technology developed may never spread since the OTAFA Empire covers so much area. Their plan for the destruction of Sandreca is to completely destroy it using the nanomachines. After they are done eating all organic and furry matter, the planet will be left a barren rock open for colonization (not until the planet is examined for weeks to confirm the psychic and physical furry presence has left).
 Seidmas's ship was hit with four concentrated lance beams that decimated the bow of the ship and rendered many systems offline, but the tech furries were already reparing it with their healing tentacles and egg layers. Although his ship was left defenceless and had open wounds, he was confident that the planetary defences could destroy the enemy fleet becore his was destroyed first. He commanded two heavy frigates to distract the lance ships while the flagship was repaired and the planetary defences finished them off. Before any furry knew it, a glowing green torpedo hit the ship, but caused superficial damage and the tech furries came to clean it up. Little did he know that there would be a much larger effect.
 The brainwashed furry melted through the wiring and armour plating of the furry flagship and came into a hallway, collapsing on the floor and turning into a writhing heap of flesh that spit out a storm of maggots and vomit that crawled along the walls at unnatural speeds and shot into furries, deforming them and turning them into factories for more of the furspore creatures. Although normal furries did produce their own furspores, ones of a strange design could still cause damage to them if they do not adapt fast enough.
 "What is this?!" shrieked Seidmas, seeing a wave of goo and flailing body parts oozing towards him. Right after he fired fifteen shots into the thing, his officers were infested and reached with their long flesh talons and carved deep marks in his armour. Right after he beheaded them all, fleshy tendrils erupted from within their necks and punctured his armour, liquifying his insides and killing him instantly. The ship was possessed by the rogue furry and he received commands from an OTAFA psychic cruiser, causing the ship to launch infested furry bombs at the heavy frigates advancing at the lance cruisers. After a minute, these ships were corrupted even further than normal Sandrecans and were all compelled to dive onto the planet. The orbital defences did not fire, since many furry ships looked like them, and then the lights of the furry hives and war spires started to shut down as the corruption spread.
 "Crash the nanomachine tubes into the planet and leave a camera drone replicator in this system to watch the destruction. A colonization fleet will take this world and dispose of the machines," ordered Vanadtkkt. The two nanomachine tubes activated their powerful thrusters and crashed into the world, this time spreading a virus of grey which replaces the vomit-green colour of the rogue furspore corruption. The Sandrecan furries were inexperienced and failed to a rogue furry furspore infestation.
