Tea Group Session 21

[23:30]	KendallKun	Session Start
[23:32]	Having tracked their comrades to the industrial district, the group have had a sudden run in with a Warden. After waking it up and pissing it off, Blue Skies stepped in to tackle the beast as the others found their friends and their captors, Vanity and Wax.
[23:34]	Black_Tea	quickly looks at their opponents equipment (weapons+armor)
	Ginger_Ails	eyes the... former ponies... casting his medical eye over them to see just what kinda shit they've done to themselves.
[23:35]	KendallKun	Black_Tea cannot identify the armour, nor their weapons
[23:36]	From what Ginger_Ails can see, the ex-earth ponies have stretched their muscle and skin over crudely formed wings. Where they got the bones to make them is another question all together. Also, they are both covered in scars of varying degrees, some surgical, others much less profession.
[23:38]	Ginger_Ails	sneers. "You twisted quacks..."
[23:43]	Apricot_Tarts	fires a two bursts of 9mm into Vanity or Wax's head, she doesn't really care~
[23:48]	KendallKun	The bullets shred into Vanity's face, the pony looking worryingly indifferent to the damage. She brings up a strange pistol and fires two rounds in return at Apricot_Tarts
[23:50]	The gun gives a strange noise as it fires, two slugs slamming into Apricot_Tarts' torso and hind right leg
[23:57]	Black_Tea	runs in front of Apricot_Tarts, who he can see is clearly wounded, to prodect her from more shots, if necessary with his body, and changes weapons to his Service Rifle.
[00:03]	KendallKun	Wax leaps towards Ginger_Ails, drawing a wicked looking scythe and swinging at the zony
[00:06]	The scythe strikes at his right foreleg, the crazed stallion grinning at the sight of any blood.
[00:09]	Ginger_Ails	staggers back as the blade carves a long furrow into his shoulder, parting the sleave of his surgeon's outfit with little resistance. He clamps down on a pained cry.
[00:10]	Fleet_Fortune	ducks back behind cover and draws her weapon to point at the one with the scythe, who seemed to be extra vicious! She fires a well-aimed shot.
[00:13]	KendallKun	The bullet hits Wax, who also seems indifferent to the wound in his torso
[00:18]	Ginger_Ails	staggers back a step, favoring his foreleg. "Tea! You stay in front of her! I'm going to be a moment!" His horn lights and he surrounds the melee attacker in a timeout shield, forming it tightly around him as he can to make it even harder to swing that weapon with any effect.
[00:19]	KendallKun	Wax is completely indifferent to the shielding
[00:20]	Ginger_Ails	, seeing his attacker successfully encapsulated, turns his attention to Apricot_Tarts. He grabs a healing potion in his magic and levitates it toward her mouth. "Open up, Boss! Down the hatch."
	Apricot_Tarts	gulps and drinks
[00:26]	exchanges her SMG for her new hunting rifle and rests it on Black_Tea's back, aiming fir Vanity's head again "In Your face!" then she pulls the trigger.
[00:33]	KendallKun	With a nice new hole in her forehead, Vanity totters a little before crumpling, still with a creepy smile on her face. Wax gives a primal howl as she falls.
[00:38]	Black_Tea	shoots at the immobilized Wax 5 times
[00:44]	KendallKun	A single shot hits the enraged Wax, though he doesn't care. Black_Tea's rifle gives a click at it jams on the second
	Black_Tea	quickly unjams his Service Rifle and fires another shot
[00:47]	KendallKun	The next shot hits Wax again, but he is still too angry to care about the wound
[00:48]	Wax starts to struggle against the shield, attempting to break out of it.
[00:52]	His struggles are fruitful as he breaks open the shield with a shout.
[00:57]	Fleet_Fortune	hesitates a moment. "Wait! Ginger! Can you keep him restrained? Remember the first one? These all might be unwilling slaves!" After a moment, she adds, "At least, can we try to knock him out?"
[01:09]	Ginger_Ails	scowls. "Matches Blue's description and doesn't seem like a talker. We should put him down!"
[01:10]	Apricot_Tarts	grunts "Agreed!"
[01:12]	Fleet_Fortune	is a little less than satisfied with that answer, but now's not the time to be having second thoughts. She aims to put three bullets into his head.
[01:15]	KendallKun	Two shots just miss, the last one slamming into a snarling Wax.
[01:17]	Ginger_Ails	takes his own advice, swinging his SMG in line with the oath-breaking doctor. He squeezes off two bursts.
[01:19]	KendallKun	In a torrent of bullets, Wax slowly, but surely, falls.
[01:20]	Apricot_Tarts	pants "Ohmigosh that was close."
[01:21]	Black_Tea	turns to the mare which uses him as her weaponbracer. "Are you okay?"
[01:22]	Apricot_Tarts	pats Black_Tea "Yes, for now."
	Ginger_Ails	takes a step, favoring his foreleg. He winces. With a shake of his head he moves over to the captured pegasi. "Who's hurt?"
	KendallKun	None of the pegasi respond.
[01:23]	Ginger_Ails	gets closer, looking them over as he does so.
	Black_Tea	"Can you talk?"
	Black_Tea	- to the pegasi
	Iris	"Found my revolver, gals!" Iris calls over, peeking in. "Now--"
[01:24]	KendallKun	None of the pegasi respond
	Iris	"... oh."
	Apricot_Tarts	sighs "I've felt better, but I'll live. Ok now. We should pack up and head out. Pretty sure the authorities here that."
[01:25]	KendallKun	Ginger_Ails realises that the pegasi are all sedated heavily, most likely with Med-X
[01:26]	Apricot_Tarts	inspects the weapon she was shot earlier with
	Ginger_Ails	moves over to them, hobbling a bit. "It's alright... they are sedated." He starts a quick investigation for any serious wounds before he'll turn his attention to himself.
[01:27]	Fleet_Fortune	puts her weapon away and helps inspect the bodies.
	Iris	sighs and holsters her weapon, walking in to inspect the carnage.
	Apricot_Tarts	picks up a map and note "That would explain why the didn't seem to care."
	Iris	Her companions sure dealt with /that/ quickly...
	KendallKun	Apricot_Tarts identifies the gun as a gauss pistol, a rather rare weapon indeed.
[01:28]	Ginger_Ails notes that the bodies aren't overly damaged, though they appear to be attached to the wall.
	Apricot_Tarts	holds the gun up "Hey Fleet, I think I got something for you."
[01:29]	reloads all her guns too!
	Ginger_Ails	looks for a lock on the chains.
[01:30]	Iris	looks over to Apricot_Tarts out of curiosity.
[01:31]	Iris	"... what /is/ that?" Iris asks, walking closer to inspect the exotic weapon.
	Fleet_Fortune	looks up from her own inspection. "Oh yeah? Did you find the bag they kept their caps in?"
	KendallKun	There is no lock to be seen in the room
	Apricot_Tarts	"Gauss pistol. Don't really like 'em."
[01:34]	Black_Tea	asks "Magnets, right?" then turns to Fleet_Fortune. "The currency here is credits, isn't it?"
[01:35]	Iris	just looks curious, getting closer to Apricot as she looks-on.
	Apricot_Tarts	shrugs "You can have it too Iris. I don't care."
[01:36]	Iris	Her player doesn't really know how rare such weapons are in the general setting; something the character would know, probably, considering her father works in the Magical Energy Weapons industry.
	Fleet_Fortune	gives a quiet 'tch'. "Yeah, whatever. It's all caps to me, no matter what the name. You don't grow up on using one thing and just suddenly switch to something else without any trouble."
[01:37]	KendallKun	Upon better examination, Ginger_Ails realises that the pegasi's wings are attached to the wall by means of large pins. There is little blood, suggesting that the attachments are very clean and precise or that Vanity and Wax are very careful to clean up after themselves.
[01:38]	Iris	"Cool," Iris says, extending a hoof to take the weapon.
[01:39]	Ginger_Ails	growls. "Barbaric." He's thankful at least for their sedation. Wings are sensitive. He slowly begins the process of removing the pins without further damaging the wings.
	Black_Tea	examines Wax' Scythe.
[01:40]	Iris	"On a separate note, I think this is the second crazy pony we've seen who's used a scythe in combat," Iris remarks, checking the condition of the pistol as well as its ammunition count.
[01:42]	Apricot_Tarts	chuckles "Was only a black short of being the Grim Reaper."

	Iris	"Such an unwieldy weapon," Iris sighs.
	KendallKun	With a little difficulty on some of the pins, Ginger_Ails manages to remove the rest with ease. The pegasi thump to the floor as they're removed.
[01:44]	Fleet_Fortune	trots on over to check the weapon that Apricot_Tarts was so brazenly trying to dump off on her comrades!
	Ginger_Ails	supports them with his magic, not wanting them to fall and further injure themselves. He holds them in his magic as he puts tome rejuvinating magic into his leg.
	Apricot_Tarts	gives the gun to whoever and examines the note and map
[01:45]	Black_Tea	says "I'll take that Scythe if nopony has any objections," and picks up the object in question
[01:48]	Ginger_Ails	cradles the pegasi in his magic. "We should get out. That Warden could be back at any time." He moves toward the exit, looking back at Apricot_Tarts.
[01:49]	Iris	"Well, we might have a fighting chance with this thing," Iris remarks, tapping the Gauss Pistol.
[01:50]	Apricot_Tarts	studdies the map "Hm, that's not far from here and then note say something about discussing Forger's plans and there's those names. I think we should check that out. Let the pegasi go with Blue Skies, as much as I hate to say it."
[01:51]	Ginger_Ails	shakes his head. "I'd rather get our friends back to base than start another fight."
[01:52]	Black_Tea	"I agree with Ginger. We should quit while we'Re ahead"
	"Regain our strength and stricke another time again."
	Apricot_Tarts	"This may be a prime opportunity to take out our next target."
[01:53]	"I can go alone and you guys go back to the base."
	Iris	takes a walk about the room, looking for any missed loot.
	Ginger_Ails	frowns. "If he were here, if he could carry all three of them, then that might be a plan. Right now, we're the only way these three make it."
	Black_Tea	looks back at the pegasi and whispers something about ball and chain
[01:54]	Apricot_Tarts	"Speak up Private, I couldn't hear you."
[01:55]	Fleet_Fortune	scrunches her nose at Iris as she starts trotting off. "It's not exactly... quiet. Seems more like your style, I guess." She glances over at Ginger_Ails and Apricot_Tarts. "It sounds time sensitive... but are we in enough shape to go poking around someplace doubly dangerous?"
	Black_Tea	"Ma'am, at the moment the rescue and protection of lifes was our primary mission goal. We succeeded in the first part of that, but now we also have to get them to safety."
[01:56]	"And with all due respect, but they would hinder us in a fight as they are easily taken hostage or simply become collateral damage."
	Apricot_Tarts	shrugs. "Fleet, the two of us can go an take a look. We are pretty good at staying hidden so that should help."
[01:57]	KendallKun	Iris finds 2 healing potions and 8 bandages, as well as 5 Med-X
	Iris	"Yeah," Iris says to Fleet_Fortune. "This technology's a bit out of my league."
	Black_Tea	"We also have no information about our opponents weaponry or other equimpent. If the warden has EFS and heavy guns, what's to say we won't face a grenadelauncher or something while being in an enclosed space like this." He gestures around
	Iris	brings the gathered medical loot to Ginger_Ails!
[01:58]	Ginger_Ails	happily accepts it. "Thank you, Iris." He gives her a smile as the discussion continues.
	Iris	"Welcome~" Iris says cheerily.
[01:59]	Apricot_Tarts	"If things go south I can teleport the two os us out. Fleet, are you with me?"
	Black_Tea	"That is to say I'll follow your lead, but wanted to raise my concerns."
[02:00]	KendallKun	Iris and Ginger_Ails both come to realisation. It's very quiet outside. Too quiet for a fight to be going on.
[02:01]	Apricot_Tarts	"Shush you hear that?"
	Ginger_Ails	nods. "We'll meet you back at base." He takes a step toward the two mares. His ears swivel around as he starts to speak... his mouth snaps shut. "It's... aweful quiet out there..."
	Iris	"... you hear that, Ginger?" Iris asks, looking in the general direction of the conspicuous abseence.
	Fleet_Fortune	isn't so sure about this. "To be honest... I'd much rather not go in without backup."
[02:02]	Apricot_Tarts	switches to her SMG and checks her EFS (range 60 yards)
[02:03]	Black_Tea	readies his newly acuired scythe
	KendallKun	Only passive targets appear on Apricot_Tarts' EFS, around 6 of them
[02:04]	Apricot_Tarts	whispers "Keep talking like nothing's wrong." thenshe tries to peek out the window.
[02:05]	Iris	"I'm... not good at acting," Iris hisses, reaching for her pistol.
	Ginger_Ails	looks over to Fleet_Fortune, figuring he can talk inconsiquentially if Apricot_Tarts wants him to. "I think I could really use one of those massages when we get back."
[02:06]	KendallKun	There are no windows facing the direction of the EFS dots
[02:07]	Fleet_Fortune	rolls her eyes at Ginger_Ails. "Yeah? And what'll you do for me in return?" She smirks.
	Apricot_Tarts	takes a peek outside through the door
	Ginger_Ails	smirks back. "You owe me two as is."
[02:08]	KendallKun	The alleyway is deserted, the six dots are most likely in the street over.
[02:09]	Apricot_Tarts	sneaks to the corner to take a look!
[02:10]	Black_Tea	follows Apricot_Tarts outside.
	Ginger_Ails	crosses over to Fleet_Fortune, smiling but with his eyes scanning around. "You're a mare of your word, right?"
	KendallKun	Six ponies are going about their day, one being the pony who showed the group the way to Vanity and Wax's. He gives a wave and goes back to work.
[02:11]	Black_Tea	"all clear?
	Black_Tea	"
[02:12]	Apricot_Tarts	sighs "Why did you follow me? Did I tell you to follow me?"
	Fleet_Fortune	snickers at Ginger_Ails. "That depends. Business or pleasure?"
	Apricot_Tarts	also waves back to the ponies, then heads back to the others
[02:13]	Black_Tea	"I'm sorry."
[02:14]	Ginger_Ails	"Pleasurable business?" He chuckles.
	Apricot_Tarts	trots back into the room "No obvious traps or anything, but we should be carefull. Fleet are you coming with me now or not?"
[02:17]	Fleet_Fortune	gives a sigh. "We're still going /into/ danger. If we do, I want backup."
[02:18]	Apricot_Tarts	"I'm your backup and you're mine."
[02:19]	Iris	"Well, I'm good for shooting stuff you need shot," Iris says.
[02:20]	Fleet_Fortune	shakes her head. "Backup, as in, ponies who have both our rumps covered when things go sour!"
	Apricot_Tarts	"Who will have our rumps covered if things get sour when all of us are her?"

[02:21]	Black_Tea	"I'd come with you, if you want."
	Apricot_Tarts	"No, I need somebody who can sneak."
[02:22]	Fleet_Fortune	isn't having it. "Two ponies is different than six."
	Ginger_Ails	"Boss has a good plan. If it's just her and Fleet, they can spy and teleport back to base if they get noticed, quick as you please. We can't leave these ponies here."
[02:23]	Black_Tea	"I'm not that bad at sneaking."
[02:28]	Apricot_Tarts	"New idea. I'll go alone. The rest of you get those ponies to safety. You got me?"
	Iris	"Apricot..."
[02:29]	Apricot_Tarts	"No buts. I'll see you at the safehouse." With that she trots away.
	Iris	"... there are certain times to engage the enemy, and there are certain times to retreat."
	Ginger_Ails	looks back at his new patients, still sedated but needing to get out of here. "You be safe, Boss. Pop out if you get in any trouble." He walks past her and gives her a little punch on the shoulder.
	Fleet_Fortune	gives a loud sigh, and follows quickly behind Apricot. "... Fine. Just don't shoot anything unless you've already been shot. And don't take risks. Alright?"
	Iris	"Oh, damnit to the moon. Come back here you stubborn-ass unicorn!" Iris calls.
[02:30]	Apricot_Tarts	is already gone and on the way to the point marked on the map
[02:31]	Fleet_Fortune	is like 10 times as quick as Apricot_Tarts, and has no trouble catching up.
	Ginger_Ails	cautiously makes his way back toward their base, the injured ponies levitated behind him.
	Iris	is left behind to gripe, and gripe she does.
	Black_Tea	"not to be rude but... how did she become our de facto boss again?"
	Iris	"Because she's more boss and stubborn than all of us combined."

[02:32]	Iris	follows close to Ginger_Ails, keeping her armaments close.
[02:33]	Apricot_Tarts	"So you decided to come? Awesome."
	KendallKun	After around an hour of walking, the group make their way back to the medical district where a hurried looking group of Mongrels approach them, "You made it!"
[02:34]	Iris	was silent pretty-much the whole way there.
	Ginger_Ails	nods, patients still in his grasp and hopefully still under. "Of course."
[02:36]	KendallKun	The Mongrels motion for Ginger_Ails to pass the injured to them, "We'll take them to HQ, the others arrived not too long ago. Have you seen Dr. Blue Skies?"
[02:37]	Iris	"Last we saw, he was fighting one of those... abominations."
	Ginger_Ails	is hesitant to pass off patients... again. "He was duking it out with that Warden, Joy. "
[02:38]	Iris	makes a "blech" noise.
[02:39]	Ginger_Ails	"I'll come with you, I'd like to see the other's condition as well."
	KendallKun	The Mongrels look scared shitless. One swallows hard, "A Warden?!" He shakily nods, "Of, of course."
[02:40]	Ginger_Ails	nods back. "Lead the way."
[02:42]	KendallKun	The Mongrels do so. As Ginger_Ails and co. arrive, they see Black Hooves leaving.
[02:43]	Ginger_Ails	smiles at the mare, finding her infinitely more likable of the two. He approaches her. "Wasn't sure we'd see you around."
[02:44]	Iris	is, as always, pretty-much unreadable in her platemail.
[02:45]	Black_Tea	nods to the familiar face. "Good to see you again."
	KendallKun	Black Hooves snorts, "Hope those sorry bastards are worth the trouble."
	Iris	says nothing to the murderess.
[02:46]	Ginger_Ails	smirks. "Recovered allies and put down two animals. It's a winning day."
[02:48]	Black_Tea	"Our mission was a complete success by my definition. Is there something else bothering you?"
[02:49]	KendallKun	Black Hooves shrugs, "Good for you." With that, she trots away back to the farming district.
[02:50]	Ginger_Ails	frowns, speaking after her as she passes. "Considering your displeasure at those animals being loose, I thought you'd have more interest."
[02:53]	KendallKun	Having saved their comrades and taken down two decidedly evil creatures, one part of the group sets off to find out who these three ponies are.
[02:54]	For rescuing ponies, killing ponies and looting ponies, the group earns a nice 3400 XP and 5 Karma each
