  1. Doesn’t your machine have a lower teaprrmtuee idle’ mode that it shifts into after the job is complete? Or am I thinking of the 2000? Yes, I hate having to babysit the machine as well, which is why I always schedule my jobs to that they’ll complete during a workday.Regarding remote heater shutoff, my first thought was to find an unused output on the Asymtek and wire that to a relay to kill power to the heaters. Then, just insert an appropriate command at the end of the SML file to toggle that output. Unfortunately, this is kind of cumbersome, and if you’re using Insight and building multiples of a part, the heaters would shut down after the first part not good! You may be on the right track with an Arduino, especially if it can talk MODBUS to the temp controllers over RS-485 then you can dial-a-teaprrmtuee right from your smartphone! I think Insight has the ability to automatically send an email at the completion of a job if that email could be sent to the Arduino, it could automatically lower teaprrmtuee to an idle state.
