- Muk-Alola @ Mago Berry
- Ability: Gluttony
- Level: 50
- EVs: 188 HP / 244 Atk / 44 Def / 20 SpD / 12 Spe
- Adamant Nature
- - Poison Jab
- - Knock Off
- - Imprison
- - Protect
- I love this set. Worst case you seal off opponent protects, best case an opposing Muk running the common set is completely shut down with Psychic terrain up. Luckily it's still not very popular otherwise 12 Speed EVs would be too slow.
- Tapu Lele @ Choice Scarf
- Ability: Psychic Surge
- Level: 50
- EVs: 12 HP / 172 Def / 136 SpA / 20 SpD / 168 Spe
- Modest Nature
- IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- - Moonblast
- - Psychic
- - Dazzling Gleam
- - Hidden Power [Fire]
- This is supposed to survive 252+ Muk poison jab and Sash Nihliego sludge bomb 10/16 times from full health. In retrospect more SpA would have been nice.
- Tapu Koko @ Focus Sash
- Ability: Electric Surge
- Level: 50
- EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Timid Nature
- - Sky Drop
- - Nature's Madness
- - Thunderbolt
- - Reflect
- I think Koko functions better in a fast support role like Ninetales, not as a dedicated special attacker. Focus Sash and 130 base speed helped revenge KO things late game.
- Krookodile @ Groundium Z
- Ability: Intimidate
- Level: 50
- EVs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe
- Adamant Nature
- - Earthquake
- - Crunch
- - Taunt
- - Protect
- Designated Z-move nuker and intimidate utility. Psychic Terrain + Taunt/Tectonic Rage gives me a good matchup against most hard TR teams.
- Araquanid @ Mystic Water
- Ability: Water Bubble
- Level: 50
- EVs: 220 HP / 252 Atk / 36 Spe
- Adamant Nature
- - Liquidation
- - Toxic
- - Wide Guard
- - Protect
- Reliable water spider. 36 Speed is to outrun uninvested Marowak but I didn't face one during the tournament.
- Porygon-Z @ Normalium Z
- Ability: Adaptability
- Level: 50
- EVs: 20 HP / 28 Def / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 204 Spe
- Modest Nature
- - Shadow Ball
- - Tri Attack
- - Conversion
- - Protect
- Essentially all you need to do with this is find one good turn to pull off the conversion. I chose Ghost-type conversion because I didn't want to add another Ground weakness with Electric and Celesteela is already annoying enough, so Ice wasn't happening either. EV spread taken from trainer tower.
