The thing is had they been cheating Gerry would NOT want to vest Minie but would want her dead instead, so she could tell him who is what roles from the graveyard a lot more accurately, since he vested her that is actually an indication that they are not cheating.

in conclusion :
very weird play by Minie, had Crayray actually been blacksmith (which I think she thought Cray is real BS) it would actually be gamethrowing - alas they flipped opposite alignments so her play was correct.
