- start of the route is pretty much always the same
- eastern palace: don't get 20 or 50 rupee chest (get the 100 one); at least 240 when leaving
- after eastern palace:
- zora domain, see thief
- fly to kakariko
- buy smooth gem
- get 100 from house left of sahasrahla
- get pegasus boots
- get pouch
- fly to witch's house
- get zora's flippers
- house, rent hookshot, tornado, bomb, hammer
- house of gales; no special rupees here
- fly to kakariko, go to rosso
- go to tower of hera, activate death mountain vane
- tower of hera: I like using hookshot here, but not really necessary; bow may be better? no special rupees here
- hyrule castle: 30 rupees from the blue/red guards
- thieves' hideout: get 50 chest, don't get 100
- get master ore
- between here and swamp palace, collect rupees until you reach 450 (250 after bomb flower); should have 400+ after boss
- rent bomb flower
- activate vane at vacant house on your way to swamp palace
- swamp palace: nothing special IIRC
- run to vacant house portal (faster than flying)
- back to hyrule
- fly to kakariko
- back to lorule from sahasrahla's house
- skull woods: get master ore
- fly to vacant house, back to hyrule
- rent sand, fire, ice rod
- upgrade sword
- ice ruins: get stamina scroll
- now, since no rupee worries anymore, just the order matters, I guess?
- dark palace
- turtle rock
- desert palace
