  1. PLEASE KEEP THE ALPHABETICAL ORDER
  2.
  3. Accelgor - Good offensive spikes setter, the fastest non scarf in the tier, so it can also run a LO cleaning/revenging set to help manage offensive teams. Bug STAB is very useful in this tier as there aren't too many steels or anything.
  4.
  5. Archeops - itemlees with acrobatics, rock slide, heat wave and filler coverage/utility move is the best anti-meta pokemon rn. Band is usable, sash with endeavor is a nice lead.
  6.
  7. Articuno- Surprisingly hard to take down without Stealth Rock up, but really needs Defog or Rapid Spin support to remove Rocks. Offensive sets are strong, with Freeze-Dry and Hurricane. SubRoost sets with Toxic Spikes support is also difficult to maneuveur around due to Pressure, Roost, and Articuno's ok Speed for a more support oriented Pokemon.
  8.
  9. Audino- Special wall and pivot with Regenerator. Can pass large Wishes and still regain HP upon switching out, so can be used for both stall and offensive teams. Has access to a really cool special movepool including Fire Blast, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt. Can also run Calm Mind I guess, but that's probably bad. Good Trick Room setter, but wastes valuable turns switching out.
  10.
  11. Avalugg - bulky Rapid Spinner, but can really only beat the Gourgeist formes reliably
  12.
  13. Barbaracle- Strong and one of the faster Shell Smash users. Has to deal with inaccurate moves, but very little can take its hits safely after a boost.
  14.
  15. Bouffalant- Checks Grass-types, can use Swords Dance well. It's also really bulky.
  16.
  17. Cacturne - Offensive spike setter, LO sucker punch and bullet seed hurt frail offensive teams. can be used on sand teams if you are a dickpro player but Water Absorb is usually superior as it lets it take scalds for other members of the team
  18.
  19. Chatot- Has Encore, Boomburst, and Chatter, making it a difficult Pokemon to get around, especially with slower teams. However, frail as paper
  20.
  21. Combusken- Can be a sweeper in and of itself with Swords Dance or its high powered (but inaccurate) special moves. It is also a great Speed Boost passer due to slightly better defensive typinf than Ninjask (though lacking Leftovers hurts its ability to make Subs, while lacking Eviolite hurts its bulk)
  22.
  23. Cryogonal- Good offensive or specially defensive spinner, ice typing kinda sucks, but Levitate lets it rise above Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web. Offensive an sort of blast through some Ghost-types, but CB Spiritomb can be a problem with Pursuit and Shadow Sneak as it has no physical bulk
  24.
  25. Crustle- Good offensive hazard setter, and can run an effective Shell Smash set as well.
  26.
  27. Delibird - Suicide spiker that is generally worse than accelgor, but it can spin away opposing hazards and use destiny bond so it has a small niche at last. Use Hustle CB sets if Durant is too mainstream for you.
  28.
  29. Ditto - Literally shits on every setup sweepers that plague the ladder right now.
  30.
  31. Doublade- Excellent counter to Swords Dance Virizion and Durant and Setup Sweeper (SD | Shadow Sneak | Shadow Claw/Sacred Sword | Iron Head/Gyro Ball/Sacred Sword). Good all around pivot on an offensive team that can easily set up and sweep itself.
  32.
  33. Dragalge- Walls Virizion and a lot of other Special Attacker (especially Fire-types), can set up Toxic Spikes and phaze with Dragon Tail. Is really slow. Decent Phys def and Scald to further help it means it can check phys attackers too.
  34.
  35. Durant - shits on stall teams with a Hone Claws set. It is super fast but inaccurate without a boost. Good against offensive teams as well due to its great speed tier and powerful STAB moves. Outspeeds Virizion which is a cool bonus! (pls dont use adamant then u lose to viriz)
  36.
  37. Exeggutor- Potent Sun sweeper, can use LumRest and SubSeed Harvest sets. Pretty scary Specs user too.
  38.
  39. Feraligatr - Few counters in the tier (mainly qwilfish and gourgeist so far), has access to both SD and DD for easy sweeping (also has the mighty rest/block set to set up on qwilfish)
  40.
  41. Ferroseed- Set up fodder, but can reliably set up hazards unless it faces Xatu or a Fire move. Gyro Ball stings stuff.
  42.
  43. Flareon - Walls a lot of special attackers (and the fire types running in the tier right now) with its Wish Specially Defensive set and Hits like a truck thanks to Flare Blitz even uninvested. Guts set is powerful but slow so it is more of a wall-breaker than a late game sweeper.
  44.
  45. Fletchinder - good revenge killer and late game sweeper [Acrobatics | Swords Dance | Roost | Will-o-Wisp @no item] Sorta necessary to run defog or rapid spin support with this pokemon unless your team has sufficient offensive pressure to prevent SR from going down.
  46.
  47. Gorebyss- Can run an offensive Shell Smash set, but is even more dangerous because it can Baton Pass the Shell Smash boost to its teammmates. Can be even more threatening in Rain due to Swift Swim.
  48.
  49. Gourgeist- Good Ground-type resist. Can use an annoying SubSeed Set with Will-O-Wisp. Has access to some funny offensive options too like Fire Blast and Explosion.
  50.
  51. Gourgeist-S- Fastest forme, probably the better SubSeeder. Weakest offensively out of the formes though, but still rather annoying to deal with as a spinblocker.
  52.
  53. Gourgeist-L- Pretty mediocre, lacks the bulk of XL, and the speed of normal and Small.
  54.
  55. Gourgeist-XL- Slowest forme, but bulkiest and strongest. Best used as an offensive tank or as a physical "wall", though Pain Split isn't really reliable recovery. Leech Seed + Protect allows it to become surprisingly hard to wear down though.
  56.
  57. Granbull- Possibly the only Pokemon in NU able to take two hits from Sawk (outside of CB Poison Jab if there's entry hazards on your side of the field).
  58.
  59. Gurdurr good bulk with eviolite. It checks Dark Type pokemons pretty well. Can easily set up up some Bulk Up to punch holes (or even sweep!). Hard to wear down since any status will boost its Attack thanks to Guts.
  60.
  61. Hippopotas - sets sand for Stoutland and Sandslash, has respectable invested physical bulk, Slack Off for recovery and Stealth Rock.
  62.
  63. Jynx fast, powerful, has good Dual STAB. its sleep move is great Really hates priority, so frail.SubNP and sash are really cool in the meta, LO sux.
  64.
  65. Kangaskhan - Still a very reliable revenge killer with Fake Out and Sucker Punch. Not overly powerful, so best as a cleaner and revenge killer.
  66.
  67. Kecleon- Protean user, makes good use of its numerous priority moves and decent special bulk. Can boost with Power-Up Punch to make its moves even stronger.
  68.
  69. Klinklang- Has a bit of trouble distinguishing itself from Durant, but has Shift Gear to make use of its good bulk and typing. Gear Grind also can break through man Substitute users. Lacks strength compared to Durant, but can reach much higher levels of Speed and has better overall bulk to set up with. Is helpless against most steel types.
  70.
  71. Lanturn- Excellent pivot, has a slow Volt Switch. High HP lets it tank most any hit and pivot out to a teammate. Walls a lot of Water-types on the special side, and walls Electric-types very well. Can run a surprisingly potent Specs set, though it still prefers to act as a slow pivot. It is weak offensively if no Specs, but has a variety of disruptive and support moves such as Scald and Thunder wave. Pretty easy to wear down.
  72.
  73. Leavanny - Frail but fast Sticky Web user. Best used with Focus Sash as a lead. Has Magic Coat to stop predicted Taunts, and Swarm boosted X-Scissor. Leaf Blade scares away a lot of Stealth Rocks setters as well, while X-Scissor deals with Uxie and Mesprit. Note that Knock Off is illegal with Sticky Web.
  74.
  75. Liepard- Annoying af with Prankster Encore and Thunder Wave, or good offensive Dark-type with U-turn. Can also set up Rain or Sun, though very frail so usually only once
  76.
  77. Licklicky- Bulkier than Audino, but lacks Regenerator. Relies on its own Wishes to maintain its HP, but has more offensive presence in Body Slam. Can use Dragon Tail on hazard heavy team to shuffle, but cannot be relied upon as a phazer to set up sweepers since it can't really break most Subs.
  78.
  79. Lilligant- Ok Quiver Dancer, has Sleep Powder to help set up, but faces competition with Venomoth, which has access to both and has arguably better coverage thanks to Tinted Lens + Bug Buzz, and can also Baton Pass the boost away to a teammate. Lilligant lacks strong coverage, with HP nerf.
  80.
  81. Linoone - Belly Drum + Extremespeed wrecks unprepared offensive teams, but has trouble with steel types such as Steelix and even Durant due to their high physical bulk and neutrality to Shadow Claw/Seed Bomb. Needs Dual Screen support to function, and Memento support never hurts as well. Appreciates Pursuit support to remove Mismagius as well.
  82.
  83. Magmortar - good counter to venomoth thanks to Vital Spirit, not many waters in this tier so fire moves are very spammable. Can use an excellent mix set: Fire Blast | Earthquake | Thunderbolt | Hidden Power Grass to beat down walls (Earthquake hits Dragalge and Lanturn, which usually shits on Fire-types).
  84.
  85. Magneton - Steel Trapper or Choice User, can hit really hard with Choice Specs + Analytic
  86.
  87. Malamar - slow, average bulk, bad typing with no resistances, but it has contrary Superpower. Really hates Bug-types though. Immune to Psychic moves sort of useful?
  88.
  89. Meowstic-M- Prankster Dual Screen and Thunder Wave is excellent, especially for Hyper Offensive teams. Rather weak offensively. Can use Rain Dance and Sunny Day too.
  90.
  91. Mesprit - A more offensive kind of Uxie, run Healing Wish or just use Uxie. Better than Uxie at offensive sets, but still sucks compared to Sigilyph and Musharna as they have reliable recovery to make use of their bulk. SubCM works, and it has decent coverage compared to Musharna.
  92.
  93. Mismagius- Sits in a really good speed tier. Can easily spread burns or set up with Nasty Plot or Calm Mind thanks to its typing and ability. Has good coverage with Dazzling Gleam and Shadow Ball. Taunt, Destiny Bond, and Memento are really good moves. Don't try to beat Spiritomb with this unless you know it isn't Banded. Geez.
  94.
  95. Mr. Mime - Murders Venomoth and can NP or CM as they pass out, as well as being a solid switch in on things like CB sawk Close Combat and Gurdurr STAB moves. Not many steels in this tier so fairy type is very spammable.
  96.
  97. Musharna - Quite bulky, can use a really good CM set, but has 4MSS (You have to decide between Dazzling Gleam to beat Dark-types and Heal Bell to beat stall easier).
  98.
  99. Omastar- While it cannot Baton Pass, it is a mighty special Shell Smasher. Focus Sash Lead with Weak Armor is good.
  100.
  101. Pangoro- Parting Shot is great utility move, hits pretty hard with Crunch and Hammer Arms as well. Works as a Choice Scarf, Band, or Life Orb user. Pretty terrifying under Trick Room as well.
  102.
  103. Pelipper muh defog;;;, no but srsly best defensive defogger in the tier, has recovery, scald and u-turn
  104.
  105. Pyroar - Specs or LO with Dual stab and an hidden power (likely grass or water fak flareon). Excellent offensive check to Mismagius and Doublade.
  106.
  107. Poliwrath- Amazing switch-in to Durant, SD Samurott/Feraligatr, and other Physically Offensive threats. Has access to good phazing move in Circle Throw while also being able to spread status with toxic and scald. Can also abuse RestTalk very well if needed. Can also use a SubPunch set with Encore or Bulk Up.
  108.
  109. Politoed - is that even good?
  110.
  111. Primeape- Weaker than Sawk, faster than Sawk, U-turn around and revenge kill stuff. Doesn't have access to Knock Off so Ghost-types are solid answers to Primeape. Defiant for Defog "blocking" altho switching this thing in on an attack means it will die so not very reliable.
  112.
  113. Qwilfish- Good Suicide Lead with Explosion, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Taunt. Can also run a bulkier set to wall some deadly physical threats such as Durant with the help of Intimidate. Also, even though it might seem weak on the special side, an Hydro Pump with max Spa does more than a Waterfall with max Atk vs an opponent with similar defenses ;) (Scald is really nice to spread burn too if necessary).
  114.
  115. Rhydon Amazing Physical Tank with Rocks and good STAB combo. It is weak to the uncommon as of yet water and grass but IT SHITS ON BIRDS and Normal types and, as it is BULKY AS FUCK , it checks almost any physical attacker in the tier.
  116.
  117. Roselia- Decent Spiker. Nice Typing, pretty bulky on special side with Eviolite.
  118.
  119. Rotom-N - Can use a neat SubSplit set ( Thunderbolt | Shadow Ball | Substitute | Pain Split with a Life Orb) or use Choice Specs/Choice Scarf to do multiple thing (especially cripple walls with Trick).
  120.
  121. Rotom-S - Ok bulkish Electric-type. Can be a good revenge killer with Choice Scarf, a decent Rain setter, can go defensive with WIll-O-Wisp, and can use offensive Expert Belt set to fake Scarf. Decent check to birds and bugs.
  122.
  123. Rotom-F - Good Electric-type check, has psuedo-BoltBeam combo but hates Blizzard's accuracy. Similar sets to Rotom-S.
  124.
  125. Samurott - SD with Aqua Jet, Waterfall and Megahorn or Knock Off. It can also use a strong Special set w/ Hydro Pump | Ice Beam | Hidden Power Grass / Grass knot | Taunt (can also go Mix!) to beat usual counters like Seismitoad
  126.
  127. Sandslash- One of the few good Rapid Spinner in the tier. Has access to Swords Dance and Knock Off. Can also become a deadly sweeper with Sandstorm support (Hippopotas).
  128.
  129. Sawk - CB user, stronk. Very hard to switch in on with its great coverage options. Things that switch in on its close combats don't want to take a knock off and vice versa. Good set to run is [Close Combat | Knock off | Poison Jab | Earthquake]
  130.
  131. Sceptile - Can run special sweeping set or acrobatic set (fuck virizion). Grass is a decent offensive typing.
  132.
  133. Scyther- uses sd smashes with tech boosted moves, wants support due to huge sr weakness, choice band is a great hit and run attacker
  134.
  135. Seismitoad - Versatile water type that sets up rocks and can sweep with a Rain Dance set. SubToxic wrecks many of its counters, and let's it wall most physical Water-types due to Water Absorb
  136.
  137. Shiftry - Similar to cacturne, but without the spikes. Has access to knockoff and suckerpunch so this is hard to deal with for both bulky and offensive teams. Can support with defog. Mixed set allows it to hit on either side of the spectrum.
  138.
  139. Shuckle- STUPIOD GOOD POKMEN, sets up stealth rock and sticky web with no trouble at all, bar xatu. It has access to support moves such as encore and entrainment allowing it to "counter" set up sweepers and also provide your sweepers with an opportunity to set up. The bulk on this thing is real.
  140.
  141. Sigilyph- Strong special attacker that usually runs a Life Orb set with Magic Guard. Can use Calm Mind somewhat effectively. Cosmic Power is trash don't use it pls
  142.
  143. Spiritomb - Pursuit Trapper, SDef Wall and Spinblocker. Use stuff like Foul Play, Will-o-Wisp and Pain split and you're great
  144.
  145. Sneasel Fast Physical Attacker with good stab combination. It is really fast and Useful. Knock Off is strong, and Ice Shard can pick off common Grass and Flying mons like Virizion and Archeops
  146.
  147. Steelix a lot of physical bulk makes it a reliable Stealth Rock setter and Phazer. Surprisingly strong with Sheer Force as well, making it a good offensive SR setter too.
  148.
  149. Stoutland Sand sweeper/wallbreaker with a good movepool (gets play rough!!!)
  150.
  151. Swellow Late game sweeper with a lot of power (Facade/BraveBird/U-Turn/Quick Attack) but can't touch rock and steel types. Pair this nigga with da pursuit !!!!also can bypass subs with boomburst/and has scrappy endeavor
  152.
  153. Tauros - Has an excellent base 110 speed, which, combined with its good attack stat, make it a fearsome wallbreaker. LO Sheer Force with Fire Blast destroys most of its 'counters' and lures shit like Durant, Ferroseed and Steelix and does heavy damage to them, if it doesn't outright OHKO. Hardly has any safe switchins.use with bouff!
  154.
  155. Typhlosion- Good user of Choice items, especially since Fire resists aren't all that common. Has literally the exact same stats as Charizard. Eruption is its main claim to fame, so really likes Defog or spin support.
  156.
  157. Togetic- Imanalt's boner. Bulky Defogger, difficult to take out on the special side. Serene Grace Tri Attack is annoying, but weak af without Nasty Plot. Deep momentum loss, make sure you really need Defog and are running a more defensive team, this thing has no place on fast offense.
  158.
  159. Ursaring- Another Status Orb user, Quick Feet has more Speed and bulk than Zangoose (more bulk than Swellow too) at the cost of less power than Zangoose and Swellow. Guts sets has more power than Zangoose and Swellow, but is better at wallbreaking than cleaning with its low Speed. Sticky Web, paralysis or Trick Room support makes Guts work even more effectively.
  160.
  161. Uxie- Lead with rocks and other support moves (screens, yawn, u-turn) Can use Memento too. SubCM has potential, needs to be tested though.
  162.
  163. Venomoth - Quiver passer and Tinted Lens sweeper. Really good. Really. K its broken
  164.
  165. Virizion- Excellent Speed tier, can use Swords Dance (Leaf Blade | Close Combat | Stone Edge | Swords Dance with a Lum Berry or Life Orb) or a Special set with Calm Mind.
  166.
  167. Vivillon - Has a strong and accurate Hurricane and Sleep Powder that lets it sweep unprepared teams.
  168.
  169. Volbeat- Another Prankster user that can set up Sun or Rain. Has a slow U-turn to safely switch in sweepers, as well as Encore and Thunder Wave to cripple teams. Is also a Tail Glow Baton Passer, though Shell Smash and Quiver Dance passing is more effective since they also boost Speed.
  170.
  171. Vullaby- Meh, defogger with Foul Play. Bulky I guess, similar to Togetic but with more well rounded bulk, offensive presence, and more Speed.
  172.
  173. Weezing - decent physical wall, Pain Split is useable recovery with its low HP. Solid offensive options, dodges most Ground-moves. Spread burns mostly. CANNOT ABSORB TOXIC SPIKES!!but can set them up
  174.
  175. Xatu - shits all over most hazard setters with its offensive set (Psychic/Psyshock | Heat Wave | Grass Knot | Roost), doesn't lose momentum like spinners/defoggers do
  176.
  177. Zangoose - incredibly dangerous toxic orb abuser. Has stab priority and perfect coverage with knock off and close combat. Can also use swords dance to boost its offense. Easily worn down though and needs pivot support to get on the field safely and activate its Toxic Orb.
