1. This is an unabridged summary of the Route 3 trainer battles in my randomzed FireRed playthrough, Fickle FireRed. If you found this paste from somewhere other than Shrinemaiden.org's forums, you can read about it here: http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,14397.0.html

3. TRAINER BATTLE 7: VS LASS JANICE
4. == I always found it amusing how the Lasses accuse you of looking at them, when they're the ones who walk up to you when you're minding your own business :V
5. == First victim is Sealeo, whom is fairly fast and knows Slack Off and Rock Blast. P-Bag lives up to its nickname and tanks the hits, and kills it with two Sludge Bombs. It also learns Substitute upon leveling up, so I drop Bide to Learn it. Now if it could only learn Baton Pass...
6. == Next up is Gyarados, which I managed to spell correctly this time! It keeps its legacy with a powerful Secret Power attack, and on top of that, it has Speed Boost. Good gravy. I switch P-Bag for Youki, but sadly, Leaf Blade doesn't seem to do much. Bounce does, however! I assume it's a Grass or a Bug type, since both resist Grass but not Flying. PROCESS OF ELIMINATION!! P-Bag and Youki level up, the latter learning Fury Cutter. Hecks yeah, good bye Smog!
7.
8. TRAINER BATTLE 8: VS BUG CATCHER COLTON
9. == I liked his intro better when he was still nameless back in Gen 1. I guess we passed each other in Viridian Forest? I can see it now... "I am Colton Montoya. You squished my friends' bugs. Prepare to die!"
10. == First up is Nidorino. On a whim, I try Horn Drill, but it misses. Nido uses Safeguard, P-Bag tries but fails a second Horn Drill, and Nido uses Dragonbreath. Oh dear. Thankfully, it doesn't do that much damage (and more importantly, it doesn't paralyze). A couple of Sludge Bombs wipes it out.
11. == Next is Swalot (I'm sensing a theme here), whom knows Amnesia, which is actually canon! It is also resistant to Sludge Bomb, and immune to Crush Claw, so it has to be a Ghost type. I switch in Youki by accident (DERP), Swalot uses Tail Whip (???) and I use Bounce and Fury Cutter to end it. Darn, I wanted to Swap in Oliver. Oh, Swalot knows Giga Drain too.
12. == Last is Krabby (Combo Breaker!), whom is resistant to Fury Cutter. It then counters with Bubblebeam (curse you, canon moves!), which only does about 20% of Youki's health. At least Krabby's low Sp.Atk is canon! :D Youki Leaf Blades the poor crustacean to death; Krabby counters with Blast Burn to little effect. Another kill, another level for the ghost samurai.
13.
14. TRAINER BATTLE 9: VS YOUNGSTER J--I MEAN BEN
15. == I forgot, Joey's in Gen 2, perhaps Ben is a relative of his? Anyways, good of this kid to pack some shorts, since it's starting to warm up (slowly) around here.
16. == Speaking of Gen 2, Ben's first Poke is Furret! And it is resistant to Sludge Bomb! Man, I hope P-Bag learns another offensive move soon, I don't like Horn Drill (30% accuracy is less impressive than you think), and while Sludge Bomb does good damage, it has very limited coverage. Crush Claw doesn't work well either, so I guess it's some combo of Poison/Ground/Rock...Not good. It at least lowers Furret's defense. This time, I don't derp and I swap in Oliver. Furret harasses me with Astonish and Quick Attack, but Blizzard cripples it and Faint Attack finishes it off. At least I know it's not weak to Ice.
17. == Next up is Nidoking! Oliver's Blizzard flattens it with a Super-effective crit. That's...Literally it. Oliver levels up twice and learns...Milk Drink?! Whoa. Looks like Oliver might become my healer of the group! I drop Faint Attack for it, it's a decent move but I already have Crunch.
18.
19. TRAINER BATTLE 10: VS BUG CATCHER GREG
20. == Sableye jumps out first, will it have some horrendous type combo that has no weaknesses? Nope! It's resistant to P-Bag's Sludge Bomb , but it must have lousy defenses since it took off like half of Sableye's health. And it knows Thunder...Which doesn't do much damage either. =P Crush Claw finishes it off.
21. == Oh snap it's a Magikarp! This should be fun, will it bust out a ridiculously overpowered move and decimate my team? Nope, because Sludge Bomb OHKOs it :V Poor thing can't even survive in a randomized run.
22. == Here comes Swablu, with those adorably fluffy wings. A critical hit with Sludge Bomb ends its life. Wow, P-Bag is pulling its weight today!
23. == Finally, there's Licktung. If only it knew the fate that awaited it in Gen 4...Sludge Bomb takes it down to like 30% HP, but it counters with Revenge and KOs poor P-Bag. ;_; What a shame, you were doing so well too! Youki is called upon once again (can you tell I love this guy?) to finish the battle with Leaf Blade.
24.
25. TRAINER BATTLE 11: VS LASS SALLY
26. == I'll give her something to look at...No, it's not in my pants. =P I send out Helios this time for a chance of pace, I send out Helios, and she sends out Psyduck. Gah, I didn't figure out this one's type yet. Oh well, better now than never! Mega Drain, Go! It works, but thanks to Helios' lame Sp.Atk, it doesn't do much. Psyduck follows with GIGA Drain, but hurts itself in the process (Yay, Liquid Ooze). I at least know it's weak to Grass, but screw waiting for Mega Drain to be effective, Aerial Ace KOs the dumb duck. Then Helios gains a level.
27. == Bayleef is next! I know it'll be a Poison type, so I Aerial Ace it again...Then Bayleef hits me with Thunderbolt. Damn, I wish I had that attack now. Why couldn't you have been caught one stage earlier, Oliver?! >:( Oh, great, Helios is paralyzed. Time to switch in good old Politoed. Bayleef hits hard with Dizzy Punch, but I use Heat Wave and crit the monster into submission. Yay. Politoed gains a level from that fight.
28. == No I will not be nice Sally, screw you and your Bayleef!
29. == In case anyone was wondering, yes, I am healing at a Pokemon Center between fights.
30.
31. TRAINER BATTLE 12: VS BUG CATCHER JAMES
32. == Looks like this is Dragon country, because James just got A FUCKING DRAGONITE. It hits me with Sludge Bomb, but it doesn't hurt that much. My only problem is if it poisons me...Anyways, Aerial Ace seems to work, but Dragonite seems to have high defenses too, so...Not much I can do about that. Oh fuck, it's using Superpower. Good gravy, this thing's a beast even when randomized! So I do the smart thing and bring out--who else--Youki, and Leaf Blade it to death. I love this move now and I love Youki...Not like that, you perverts. Also, it must be a bug-type since it's weak to Flying and resistant to Grass. Good to know! Both Helios and Youki level up.
33. == Nuzleaf is next, but sadly, this is not a Nuzlocke run. It's resistant to Grass (why does one of my best attacks have to be the one thats resisted the most??), and knows Sunny Day for some reason. man, I wish I had a Fire attack to take advantage of this...So I just use Bounce. Nuz futily tries Spider Web (that would have been annoying if it hit), but Bounce misses. NOW Spider Web hits. Not that it's a huge deal, this battle's almost over. Fury Cutter doesn't seem to work too well, so I use Bounce again (Nuz really likes to use Sunny Day, apparently) and this time it hits home. This is Cave Johnson, we're done here.
34.
35. TRAINER BATTLE 13: VS LASS ROBIN
36. == I snuck past her so I could get to the Mt. Moon PokeCenter easily, but not she and her single Mon will feel my wrath! How dare she accuse me of touching her!
37. == Boy, did she luck out. She has a Jolteon with Vital Throw, which is a decently powerful move, but it doesn't do very much damage (weak Attack stat, maybe?). Heilos' attacks can't hurt it, so I assume it's a Steel type, and thus bust out Politoed's Heat Wave. Nope, that doesn't work either...Neither does Megahorn. Good gravy, this thing is durable. Jolty's also packing Rolling Kick and Clamp. Unwilling to switch out Pokemon again, I stick with Politoed and Heat Wave, which burns the electric...Er...Pet, and the burn effect eventually wears it down. Politoed and Helios level up, and the latter learns Mimic, so I delete Seismic Toss for it. Might be useful later on.
38.
39. TRAINER BATTLE 14: VS YOUNGSTER CALVIN
40. == Can you tell I'm a bit of a completionist? :V And no, why would I wear shorts, it's not THAT hot yet >_>
41. == Calvin just has one mon, a Chimecho. Helios uses Mega Drain, only to get Mirror Coat'd back. Ouch. Thankfully, Aerial Ace is much more effective. Chimecho tries to give me some free money with Pay Day, but it doesn't take. Aerial Ace wins it, and Helios levels up.
