  2. [12/12/23 07:07:43]<AMARDA_GM> When last we left, practically everyone had a good time dealing with personal issues and such. Now we join them at evening, after they have all congregated around Summer's dinning room table, waiting for dinner to be served.
  3. [12/12/23 07:08:35]? Energy_Flair sits next to Summer, smiling as he chats with his team members
  4. [12/12/23 07:09:05]? Terminal sits stiffly with Shade
  5. [12/12/23 07:09:17]? Shade leans against Terminal
  6. [12/12/23 07:09:25]? Grand_Finale trots through the door, following the smell of food to the table. Entering into the dinning room Grand pauses as he sees Enegery flair before moving into the room and sitting at the far end of the table.
  7. [12/12/23 07:09:39]? Grand_Finale "Good evening everypony"
  8. [12/12/23 07:10:30]? Grand_Finale looks around the table, "did I miss anything?"
  9. [12/12/23 07:11:26]<AMARDA_GM> Happy canters over to Grand_Finale after he enters. "Hello mister!"
  10. [12/12/23 07:12:33]? Shade smiles looking over "Heya Grand~
  11. [12/12/23 07:13:04]? Haywire nods to Grand_Finale. "Greetings. You haven't missing nothing that I'm aware of. Did you find work?"
  12. [12/12/23 07:14:32]? Energy_Flair waves at Grand_Finale. "Not much."
  13. [12/12/23 07:15:16]? Grand_Finale looks down at the foal, offering a small grin, honestly feeling at a loss of what to say and do. "Oh... hey, hows it going?". Turning at Haywires question to face him Grand nods, "Sure did, rigging explosives for a local mine but they paied in old equestrian bits. crazy right? Anyway i think that work has dried up...".

  19. [12/12/23 07:17:24]<AMARDA_GM> Summer is standing over her stove, an apron and a chef hat on. A massive pot of soup is simmering away whilst some carrots are being roasted in her oven.
  20. [12/12/23 07:17:35]? Grand_Finale glances back to the foal, still feeling a bit uncofortable around young ponies. "Whatever", mutters Grand, realizing that out of context that sort of sounded odd.
  21. [12/12/23 07:18:39]? Terminal shuts her eyes and leans up against Shade.
  22. [12/12/23 07:18:51]? Midnight_Rain is sitting at the table quietly
  23. [12/12/23 07:19:22]? Shade nuzzles Terminal
  24. [12/12/23 07:19:24]? Energy_Flair smiles around at the table, looking at his new companions. "So anything interesting happen to you all?"
  25. [12/12/23 07:19:28]<Haywire> "Well, I suppose that's a start, at least." He turns back to Happy. "So as I was saying, most of the food out in the wasteland is irradiated to varying degrees, so ponies need the occasional consumption of Rad-Away to keep their health in shape."
  26. [12/12/23 07:19:29]<AMARDA_GM> Happy smiles at Grand_Finale one last time beofre heading ovewr to Terminal. "And how are you miss Terminal?"

  28. [12/12/23 07:20:43]? Terminal gives him a 'hoofs up'
  29. [12/12/23 07:21:28]<AMARDA_GM> Happy throws his own hooves up then hugs Terminal before trotting over to Haywire and taking his seat next to him.
  30. [12/12/23 07:22:05]? Grand_Finale licks his lips as he smells the delicious food, "wow, I cant even think of the last time I have smelled a meal like this. I cant wait to dig in!"
  31. [12/12/23 07:23:08]? Haywire sighs, but patpats Happy's mane.
  32. [12/12/23 07:24:35]<AMARDA_GM> Summer gives the soup a little taste before smilling and turning the stove down. Her attention is then focused on her roast carrots, a nod of approval and then they to are left to cool slightly. "Excuse me, but could I have someone with magic give me a helping hoof. This food is hot."
  33. [12/12/23 07:25:18]? Terminal 's horn lights up in a flash
  34. [12/12/23 07:25:20]? Shade nuzzles Terminal and hops up to help Summer
  35. [12/12/23 07:25:47]? Terminal puts it out when her nuzzling post gets up to help.
  36. [12/12/23 07:26:37]<AMARDA_GM> Medi comes from out back, carrying a large container that he'd been asked to retreve not long before.
  37. [12/12/23 07:26:58]? Haywire sighs again, brushing a hoof against his mane
  38. [12/12/23 07:27:42]<AMARDA_GM> Summer opens her oven. "Miss Shade, please take the carrots out and place them there on the table. Terminal please put the pot in the center. Medi, would you place those there please."
  39. [12/12/23 07:27:57]? Shade happily does as she's told
  40. [12/12/23 07:30:59]<AMARDA_GM> Summer opens one of the cupboards and pulls out a loaf of fresh bread. She carries it on it's cutting board and places it on the table. "Now then people, I hope you will like my special soup. Medi here has some sun dried tomatoes, which by the way are hard to make with the persistent cloud cover. Now then, dig in!"
  41. [12/12/23 07:31:04]* Notify: nomad is offline (Canternet).
  42. [12/12/23 07:32:46]? Terminal floats the pot to the middle of the table without any sign of strain.
  43. [12/12/23 07:33:29]? Terminal politely takes some carrots and a tiny amount of soup
  44. [12/12/23 07:33:43]? Energy_Flair starts to dish out the soup to himself and grabs some tomatoes.
  45. [12/12/23 07:33:49]? Grand_Finale smiles as he looks at the plates floating to the table, "Oh im sure I will, it smells wonderful!"
  46. [12/12/23 07:34:19]<AMARDA_GM> Summer sits next to Energy_Flair. She waits for everyone else to dig in before getting her own food.
  47. [12/12/23 07:35:03]? Shade sits back down next to Terminal and gets som food for herself, taste the soup and wiggling "This is delicious, Summer!"
  48. [12/12/23 07:35:45]<AMARDA_GM> Summer smiles. "Thank you Shade, I've had plenty of practise at this recipe."
  49. [12/12/23 07:36:15]? Midnight_Rain gets herself some soup and sniffs it first
  50. [12/12/23 07:36:18]? Grand_Finale begins to pile on some roasted carrots onto his plate and poor some of the steaming soup into a boal. The plum eyed stalion dosent waste a second before digging into his food.
  51. [12/12/23 07:36:55]? Energy_Flair eats his food poiltly and slowly, savoring the taste
  52. [12/12/23 07:38:41]? Haywire takes a bowl for himself and carefully takes the food, without spilling a drop. He places the carrots in the same bowl as the soup and eats quietly.
  53. [12/12/23 07:39:49]? Grand_Finale pulls himself away from his food long enough to look around the table at his companions with a pleased look on his face, "i wish we could eat like this every day!"
  54. [12/12/23 07:40:28]<Energy_Flair> "You must eat slowly, know the taste of the food, cherish it, because it mihgt be your last meal for a while." Energy says
  55. [12/12/23 07:40:30]<AMARDA_GM> The soup smells good (because the GM can not think how to describe it.)
  56. [12/12/23 07:40:42]? Shade giggles "Maybe you should learn how to cook then. Grand."
  57. [12/12/23 07:42:28]? Midnight_Rain slowly eats the soup
  58. [12/12/23 07:43:02]<AMARDA_GM> Happy gets his onw soup, and takes as many as the sun dried tomatoes as he can. Medi on the other hoof just takes the soup. Summer, looking at the group digging in to the food happily smiles. "I take it thn every one here enjoys it?"
  59. [12/12/23 07:44:08]? Shade always eats slowly now days, but that's mostly because of the voices in her head that demand etiquette "Very much so, Miss Summer."
  60. [12/12/23 07:44:10]? Grand_Finale opens his mouth to etort flairs comment before turning to look at shade, tilting his head. "Do you think I would be any good?", he asks with a ernest voice. Turning back to look at summer Grand smiles, "Most sertainly!"
  61. [12/12/23 07:44:46]? Energy_Flair nods. "It tastes delcious..." He looks at the tomatoes and tries one, his eyes lighting up. "W-what was this again?"
  62. [12/12/23 07:44:53]<Shade> "Well I think you'd be good if you tried. As long as you don't try you'll never get good."
  63. [12/12/23 07:45:42]? Grand_Finale "You ponies may have old useless money and a mixed up king but at least you have some awesome food!", turning back to shade grand skews his eyes, "Maybe... Ill have to try my hoof at it some time".
  64. [12/12/23 07:45:42]? Haywire nods. He didn't take any dried tomatoes, though. "It is the best meal I have had in.... quite a while."
  65. [12/12/23 07:45:46]<Midnight_Rain> "Just make sure you test it."
  66. [12/12/23 07:46:15]<Shade> "I'll be a guinea pig if you want to try it out if you want, Grand
  67. [12/12/23 07:46:43]<AMARDA_GM> Summer looks at Grand_Finale oddly. "Messed up king? What's that crazy talk?"
  68. [12/12/23 07:50:11]<AMARDA_GM> Summer turns to Energy_Flair. "Tomatoes. Sun Dried, Little bit of spice as well." Then she turns back to Grand_Finale.
  69. [12/12/23 07:50:40]? Grand_Finale smiles at shade, "Thanks Shade, Ill take you up on that offer when we hit the road again". Looking back to Summer grand waves a hoof, "I mean what sort of pony erases one of his subjects memory just for talking about some dumb tax?"
  70. [12/12/23 07:50:53]<Energy_Flair> He looks at the tomatoes and has a huge smile. "I love these." He takes slow bits of them
  71. [12/12/23 07:51:12]? Shade perks up and cocks an eyebrow "Do what now, Grand?"
  72. [12/12/23 07:51:40]<AMARDA_GM> Summer looks at Grand like he's grown a second head. "Who did you hear that from?"
  73. [12/12/23 07:51:48]? Midnight_Rain looks at Grand_Finale like she would kill him "Grand hold your tongue."
  74. [12/12/23 07:52:18]? Haywire raises an eyebrow. He looks over at Medi.
  75. [12/12/23 07:52:25]? Grand_Finale shrugs, "One of the miners I was working with all day while setting up explosives told me about it", Grand glances at rain, "Why? Its not like we are going to be hanging around here for to long"
  76. [12/12/23 07:53:08]? Midnight_Rain blinks in one eye while looking at Grand_Finale "It is not nice to spread lies Grand."
  77. [12/12/23 07:53:31]? Energy_Flair claps his hooves together. "Oh! That might be what Happy was saying with the King feeling guilty."
  78. [12/12/23 07:54:38]<AMARDA_GM> Happy looks about. "I said his heart was dark!"
  79. [12/12/23 07:55:08]<Energy_Flair> "Which could entail guilty feelings." He shrugs. "Sorry."
  80. [12/12/23 07:56:03]? Grand_Finale looks around before shrugging, "All I know is what some pony in a mine told me". Without pause Grand returns to his food happily.
  81. [12/12/23 07:56:41]<AMARDA_GM> Summer shakes her head. "Really now? I think it may be one of the Drunkards that works over that way. Their brains have been addled by drink."
  82. [12/12/23 07:56:45]? Haywire looks over to Happy then. "We need to look into this." He says, turning to eat faster than before.
  83. [12/12/23 07:57:59]<Energy_Flair> "It's worth a shot. I've heard drunks, and they talk differently, spread a different set of lies."
  84. [12/12/23 07:58:10]? Grand_Finale shrugs as he licks bits of roasted carrot off of his hoof tip. "Sure Wire, I sort of worked out which way the place is. Pretty intense walk but a fairly short flight, would make things easier if we could rig a chariot or something".
  85. [12/12/23 07:59:10]<AMARDA_GM> Summer is shaking her head. "I cannot believe what I am hearing. You even know which pony was punished?"
  86. [12/12/23 07:59:44]<Energy_Flair> "That is a good question, did they say a name?" He asks. "Drunks keep names out of things so nopony can check it up on them."
  87. [12/12/23 08:00:21]? Shade frowns
  88. [12/12/23 08:01:46]<Haywire> "We could make it an experiment." He rubs his chin. "What was it that the pony said to the king?"
  89. [12/12/23 08:01:57]? Grand_Finale shakes his head, "Sure didnt, as a matter of fact when I started asking questions everypony started to clam up, and nopony ells in town is talking about it"
  90. [12/12/23 08:02:17]<Midnight_Rain> "Theres a reason for that Grand."
  91. [12/12/23 08:02:31]<AMARDA_GM> "Also, where is this place you were talking about? What town?" Summer asks, her voice sounding very un happy.
  92. [12/12/23 08:03:04]? Shade looks at Midnight_Rain "And why are you so adamant that Grand is wrong?" she acks curiously

  94. [12/12/23 08:04:22]? Energy_Flair thinks. "I could ask around." He says.
  95. [12/12/23 08:04:38]<Energy_Flair> "I've got a way with words. It just really can't be umm, tommorrow."
  96. [12/12/23 08:04:41]? Midnight_Rain gets done with her soup and heads to the door outside "I never said he was wrong i'm just saying that stuff like that can get someone killed." and heads outside

  100. [12/12/23 08:07:19]? Grand-Finale taps his chiin, "Let me see, I know they said the name of the place...."
  101. [12/12/23 08:08:01]<Haywire> "I would agree that this is a serious accusation and the ponies involved do not seem to be exactly reliable." He nods at Happy. "But I would not ignore it completely. We have more reliable reports that something shady could be going on." He looks over to the table. "So I propose one of us go to the court tomorrow to bring a complain about taxes to the King's attention."

  105. [12/12/23 08:10:00]? Haywire raises an eyebrow at Shade, as usual impervious to humor.
  106. [12/12/23 08:10:23]? Shade stifles it with a hoof "Sorry."
  107. [12/12/23 08:10:38]? Grand-Finale looks around, "Well why dont a few of us go check it out tonight? Its less than a days trip by flight, we can go scan the place and be back by tommorow"

  114. [12/12/23 08:16:15]<AMARDA_GM> Outside is dark, but other houses have lights on. Some ponies trot around out side, None really try to look at Midnight_Rain due to her face though.

  116. [12/12/23 08:16:50]<AMARDA_GM> Summer sighs. "You lot really want to go over to No Pony Harmed? Really?"

  118. [12/12/23 08:18:25]<Energy_Flair> He looks over to her. "It's not a terrible pain is it?" He asks. "If you don't want us to go, we don't really have to."

  139. [12/12/23 08:35:13]? Grand-Finale yawns as he pats his belly and pushes away his plate. "Well Im stuffed and if we are leaving tommorow Im going to go and get some sleep. Goodnight everypony!"
  140. [12/12/23 08:35:29]? Energy_Flair nods and smiles. "Alright then." He nods. "Goodnight Mr. Finale."
  141. [12/12/23 08:35:40]? Grand-Finale stand and waves to everypony as he makes his way to the same sofa he slept on last night, "Night!"

  143. [12/12/23 08:36:53]? Midnight_Rain pats Happy's Head "Yeah i guess you are right it is kinda hard though after all the things i have seen and done. What can you see about me?"

  151. [12/12/23 08:44:07]? Shade finishes off the last of her soup with a content sigh "Sinner was exquisite, Miss Summer. I'd love to chat, but I think I'll follow my comrade's and get some sleep before tomorrow." She smiles softly and stands up, giving a little bow to Summer
  152. [12/12/23 08:44:20]? Energy_Flair moves up to Haywire. "She did a good job. Not too many ponies can do that this day and age."
  153. [12/12/23 08:44:54]? Midnight_Rain looks up at Haywire "Do you really think that?"
  154. [12/12/23 08:45:48]<AMARDA_GM> Happy yawns as he hus Midnight_Rain. "Miss, you need to get happy." He then lets go and starts trotting into the house. "I tired, good nght."
  155. [12/12/23 08:46:09]? Haywire nods solemly. "They are still here as a testimony of it."
  156. [12/12/23 08:46:56]<Midnight_Rain> "Even after all the stupid stuff i do?"
  157. [12/12/23 08:47:32]? Shade trots out, heading outside for a smoke before she goes to bed, shifting back into her disguise
  158. [12/12/23 08:47:33]? Haywire glances back at Energy_Flair. "And that is correct, not many can say the same." He says, bitterly.
  159. [12/12/23 08:48:32]<Energy_Flair> "Stupid things? Hell, we all do something stupid at one time or another. It takes a bigger pony to admit they do it and to power through it."
  160. [12/12/23 08:48:51]? Haywire sighs. "Every mistake is a risk, but then again, there is no way to escape all risks."
  161. [12/12/23 08:50:26]? Shade trots out lighting a cigarette and trots over, plopping down next to Midnight_Rain

  163. [12/12/23 08:52:11]<Shade> "Mistakes are experience, flags the let you know how you can change a similar situation in the future for a better outcome."
  164. [12/12/23 08:52:50]? Energy_Flair nods to Shade. "Don't I know that. Even though I quit the buisness a while ago, I used to be a conpony."
  165. [12/12/23 08:53:07]? Midnight_Rain hugs Shade "Thanks Shade."
  166. [12/12/23 08:53:45]? Shade smiles and wraps a foreleg around Midnight_Rain, turning her head away to blow out some smoke before nuzzling her "You're welcome sweetie."
  167. [12/12/23 08:54:46]? Midnight_Rain looks up at Haywire "I just wanted to say i am sorry for all the times i hit you Wire."
  168. [12/12/23 08:56:43]<Haywire> "As long as you do leave such behavior in the past, I suppose I so can I." He nods.
  169. [12/12/23 09:00:20]? Midnight_Rain offers a hoof to Haywire as a sign of friendship

  173. [12/12/23 09:05:32]<AMARDA_GM> Summer pops her head out. "If any of you wannt desert, which happens to be an Apple Pie, please come in now!"

  176. [12/12/23 09:07:26]<Haywire> "I would not mind a slice." He trots back in
  177. [12/12/23 09:07:46]? Shade takes a last drag off of her cigarette and puts it out, scampering back inside
  178. [12/12/23 09:08:13]? Midnight_Rain walks back to her room and goes to sleep with Dusk
  179. [12/12/23 09:08:51]? Terminal has quit (Quit: Leaving.)
  180. [12/12/23 09:08:58]? Energy_Flair smiles and turns around, trotting in.
  181. [12/12/23 09:15:04]<AMARDA_GM> After dessert, feeling full and content. The group disperses, heading off to bed for the night. In the morning, Medi does his usuall freak out, but it only lasts for a short time before snapping out of it.
  182. [12/12/23 09:16:09]? Shade of course quickly goes over to Medi nonetheless to comfort him

Energy Flair gets a pleasent shock when he bites into his Sun Dried Tomato sandwich. Shade even flys out to feed Dusk_Beam and Midnight_Rain in mid flight. Then, out of no where, the group heres a roar.

  392. [12/12/23 12:06:30]<AMARDA_GM> From high above, from the sun, a massive shape decends from the sky. Gleaming gold scales and powerful wings spread fully, the dragon clips the carriage, sending it hurtling towards the ground, crashing into a tree before hitting the ground.
