  12. Notes:
  13. Hodiah has access to a unique variant of the parry mechanic, referred to as the God’s Hand. When Hodiah performs a parry on a physical attack, he will reverse the energy behind the opponent’s attack, causing them to stagger for a short period of time.
  14. Unlike other characters in-setting, Hodiah is not the most mobile character. He is slow, and as a result isn’t capable of running; instead, he will perform a short-ranged dash across the ground. However, being a robot, Hodiah will always have access to one hit of super armor, even when walking or standing still, making it more difficult to stop his attacks.
  15.
  16. Substitutions:
  17. Metal – Earth, Impact
  18. Pierce – Puncture
  19.
  20. BASICS:
  21. ~Cannons Away!
  22. Element: Impact
  23. Cost: 5% SE
  24. Valour: 5
  25. Base Power: 15x6, Physical
  26. Hodiah fires a cannonball from Hierophant. The cannonball cannot be repeatedly fired, and is affected by gravity, but it deals very good Guard Meter damage and has the Piercing trait, and also hits multiple times. Hodiah can aim the cannonball up if he wishes, and when used in the air, he may fire directly in front of him or below him.
  27.
  28. ~Rock Slide
  29. Element: Earth
  30. Cost: None
  31. Valour: 2 per hit, 1 per rock
  32. Base Power: 10x2 (Physical), 10x3 (Special)
  33. Hodiah punches the opponent twice, before summoning and throwing about three rocks at its opponent via a stomp and a kick. The punches have a hit of super armor each, while the rocks deal Earth-aligned damage.
  34.
  35. ~Stalagmite
  36. Element: Impact
  37. Cost: None
  38. Valour: 3
  39. Base Power: 10, Physical
  40. Hodiah‘s launcher. Hodiah raises its hand upwards, creating a short-lived rock spire. Any flying enemies it catches will be sent to the ground. When used in the air, Hodiah will release a burst of aura around itself as it falls, sending any enemies it makes contact with directly down.

  43. Element: Spirit
  44. Cost: 4%/6%
  45. Valour: 3

Piercing abilities will break it, no matter how many hits it has remaining. Has one extra hit of super armor.
  48. By holding the move, Hodiah instead uses Glowal. Unlike many specials of this variety, Glowal has an entirely different effect from Glow – it will reduce all status ailments on Hodiah, except for Soft, by one level. While using this special, Hodiah has two extra hits of super armor.

  52. Cost: 10%
  53. Valour: 3
  54. Base Power: N/A
  55. Hodiah creates a yellow aura around itself with this ability. For 3 seconds after using this ability, Hodiah will automatically parry all attacks, assuming he isn’t already occupied with an action; however, parrying attacks with this ability will not grant you the health recovery normally associated with parries. This aura can also be broken by Piercing abilities.

The laser beam has a Piercing trait, and can be extended; however, the heat from the laser will partially melt Hodiah’s face if he extends it too long, dealing 5% damage back to himself in red health & increasing the recovery time.

  119. Cost: 200 Valour

  122. Hodiah jumps into the air, bringing a lot of rocks and any enemies it strikes along the way with it [1]. In the air, Hodiah forms both the enemies and the debris into a large boulder [2], which it then knocks towards the earth, and follows closely behind. As it nears contact, Hodiah punches its meteor-like construct [1], causing it to blow and send bits and pieces flying everywhere [2]. The different pieces all have the Pierce trait, while the debris Hodiah created deals Earth-aligned damage as well.
  123.

The earthquake is ground-unblockable, though it will not affect flying enemies, and covers most of the ground which Hodiah is standing on. Enemies that are caught up in it are swallowed by the earth Hodiah opened up, then spat back out as it closes the fissure. Deals Earth-aligned damage, and is completely invincible before he stomps the ground.
