  3. Really Matt, http://imgur.com/6nngFnt Really?
  4.
  5. Go ahead and find those Tweets you keep alluding to. None of those tweets, if they even exist, contain any content that comes even remotely close to defamation or libel. As someone with more than a passing knowledge of the law and one who interacts with lawyers who specialize in 1st amendment issues on a regular basis, I know this for a FACT. I take great care in what I post.
  6.
  7. If you or anyone else is seriously so stupid as to “manufacture” false tweets or evidence of any kind in order to attempt to obtain a subpoena, there are a few important things you might want to take into consideration:
  8.
  9. First, IF in the event, and that’s a very big if, you manage to find a judge so easily befuddled by such nonsense, be aware I have a rock-star of a lawyer who will ensure the subpoena is quashed like the irritating piece of nonsense that it is.
  10. Second, be aware that knowingly filing a false report in order to improperly obtain such a subpoena carries not only fines, but criminal charges. So let me offer a bit of advice here . . . be very careful about doing something like that because I can assure you I will not be amused and neither will law enforcement. And, my lawyer dearly loves to chew up and spit out punks who threaten protected 1st amendment speech.
  11.
  12. Third, I would remind you that YOU made an implied threat to me http://imgur.com/6OT5PR1 for simply tweeting about a COMPLETELY UNRELATED ARTICLE on another website that in my constitutionally protected 1st amendment opinion, was a smear of a lawyer that I respect. You implied that I would be joined to a lawsuit regarding bloggers who had written about Brett Kimbelin, even though the tweet of mine you referenced had NOTHING TO DO WITH BRETT KIMBERLIN WHATSOEVER. You do not follow me and I have blocked you on Twitter. Therefore, you had to actively seek me out on my Twitter timeline and then click on the link (because it was a shortened URL). For reasons that escape me, other than you must be intractably stupid, you “assumed” because the link went to the BreitbartUnmasked site that I simply MUST have been talking about Brett Kimberlin. It seems you have indeed cornered the market on tin foil.
  13.
  14. When I replied to your Tweet asking you not to please not threaten me you followed up stating you were only providing “advice” for my standing in dangerous territory. http://imgur.com/CNpFTwM Really? Since when has expressing 1st amendment protected speech been standing in dangerous territory – unless that really was a threat?
  15. You then followed up with some sort of nonsense about my tweeting about Kimberlin for months and then deleting those tweets. This http://imgur.com/6nngFnt seems to be the extent of what you have managed to gather. Apparently you failed to actually LOOK at those tweets. So . . .let’s just do that right now shall we? Out of the ten tweets, four include the Kimberlin last name because (wait for it) it is part of someone else’s Twitter handle. Four more Tweets are re-tweets of another account that is clearly parody as are the tweets. The remaining two tweets are statements of FACT, one of which is backed up by court documents. Please try to stop getting your legal advice from the guys at the meth lab behind the Laundromat.
  16.
  17. Fourth, if there is anyone in trouble right now, it is you for making unsubstantiated threats on Twitter. You may trust this is being reported to Dick Costolo CEO of Twitter as well as his head of Safety.
  18.
  19. Lastly, great job making yourself look like an anti-free speech ass. Thank @ZileTrezo for me won’t you?
  20.
  21. Kiss kiss.
