While it is very convenient for you to simply ASSUME that it was through metagamed information and leave it at that, the information was not metagamed, and I believe you know that. When Tyrone was PK'd, he was standing outside of New Haven along with us. We saw Mar Nightwit leave New Haven alongside Mac Doyle and Syun-Ji, at which point they both entered the vents for some time, and upon exiting 3-4 armed men held Tyrone at gunpoint, and we never saw Tyrone again. It is pretty clear to anyone with half a brain that you ratted Tyrone out.

I understand if you want to retract your PK authorization, but keep in mind you have been slightly deceived by the fact that the information was in no way metagamed. You only received one side of the story. Here is the FULL STORY:

While I understand that the losing party in this whole scenario is desperately clinging to straws such as calling "Metagame!" and other accusations, it simply isn't true. In the events that happened last night, it was for the most part the opposing party that did most of the rulebreaking. Let me give you the whole story (I have logs prepared to back it up if they plan on blatantly denying these events).

First, we did more than a day of passive roleplay on the canals leading up to the events that happened in the caves. We amassed our forces of about 6-7 armed men, we discussed our common hatred for what is supposedly called "New Haven". Keep in mind, our reason for attacking was not solely due to the PK of Tyrone, rather it was simply sparked by such an action. Absolutely none of our communication or actions was done through any "third party communication" but we all had radios in which we were contacting each other through in-game, which I can also provide logs for you if you guys want to continue to blatantly throw accusations for which you have no backing for.

When the attack started, we all got onto the caves. We sent a single accomplice forward who claimed to be at the very least "not hated" by the group calling themselves "New Haven" which has been EXTREMELY elitist in terms of who gets in and out of their "Super Secret Rebel Club". As far as I know (as I wasn't in range to hear what happened), he somehow convinced them to open the gate, at which point we had him say the codeword which was simply "Yeah." into his radio which meant the gate was open and it was time for us to charge. We were all hiding behind the gravel heap outside their gates, and when we heard the codeword I gave the order and we ran forward and in, with our weapons out. When we got inside, we started yelling for everyone to put their hands up, and get down on the floor. Jon 'Rome' Book reacted to this by mingerunning away, and literally leaving the camp simply to return with his MP7 and start S2King us. When we killed Jon 'Rome' Book, he returned with a crossbow, again, S2King us. I would have made more of a fuss about Jon Book's blatant rulebreaking if it wasn't for the fact that he died both times he attacked us.

When we entered the camp, however, William 'Soap' Knight had some sort of long rifle equipped in his hands. When we told him "Hands up!" he simply hesitated for a moment, switched weapons (without RP) and took out a grenade and started threatening that it was mustard gas and it would explode if we killed him. I REALLY wanted to avoid a LOOC bitch fest, so I simply didn't say anything. I knew if I brought up any of their rulebreaking at the time in LOOC it would turn into exactly that, and we all wanted to avoid that. Anyways, we roleplayed with William Knight for a while, asking him to drop the grenade, but he refused, and refused. (Keep in mind, we were trying to deal with a mingerunning and NLRing Jon Book at the time.) After all this happened, we decided William Knight was not worth the risk, as ICly we had no idea if the grenade was a smoke grenade or really mustard gas, so we decided to depart. Upon leaving, we were met by a force of about 3 other New Haven residents who coincidentally got on and ran straight to their base right at that time. Among them was Mar Nightwit. They started S2King us, so naturally, we S2K'd back. As we chased them down, two of them died, and the last one who remained was Mar Nightwit. He was shooting at us with an unscoped Resistance Crossbow. We ran up to him, shooting him while outside of /me range, and when I got into /me range he quickly put his crossbow away. I said to him ICly, "Stop!" at which point he unholstered his fists and started punching me and Earl Pickett, so Earl Pickett shot him with a crossbow.

After all this happened, we as a group retreated back to the canals, seeing as the PK on Mar was complete, and we did what we could to terrorize New Haven.  However, we were met with an unordained magnitude of hatred, general whining, and racism from the losing party. From what I understand, the rulebreaking on behalf of Jon Book, Mar Nightwit, and the others caused the whole event to turn into a little bit more of shitfest than we had intended, however gunfights were expected and we roleplayed them as required. It is unfortunate that Mar had to die while punchwhoring, but the fact of the matter is that he fired upon us first, we returned fire and attempted to take him in, but he simply resorted to punchwhoring. I almost feel as if his intent was to get us to shoot him so that he could take an NLR instead of the PK he knew was coming.

In the need, if the admins decide to retract the PK on Mar Nightwit, I am completely okay with this. I, and we, had no intent to ruin anyone's fun. We were trying to add some danger to the seemingly "invincible" rebel forces in the caves and the canals, however we were met with a lot of disapproving opinions. If you really feel that the PK on Mar Nightwit was unjustified after hearing the full story, then so be it, and if Mar feels as if his fun will be genuinely ruined here at TnB by having his character PK'd, then I would rather him keep his character because I don't wish that upon anyone. I just want the full story of what happened that night to be out there so our reputation is not tarnished by desperate accusations.
