A tale of two eevees - chapter 1

Chapter 1 - Beginning

This story happened long time ago, before Game Freak invented humans in Gen I. Although it happens in a small island in between the mainland and what would be later called Hoenn, it indeed begins on those southern islands. Fuck you, Gen III haters.

There was a couple of Vaporeons that lived on the coast. After some lovey-lovey night in the daycare, they produced some eggs that hatched on three or four cute little eevees. Eeva was the youngest sibling and lived happily with her family. She was about six months old when it all happened.

Eeva was learning to swim along with her familiy, since she hoped to one day grow up and be a lovely blue Vaporeon like her parents. But due to some external factors (I'm not in the mood to create a whole meteorological phenomenon, so let's say it was El Niño), the tides were altered that day. This led Eeva's family to drift further away then they should, where they were accidentally swallowed by a Wailord (this incident would later be known in the whole world as "The Big Snack").

Only Eeva survived. She drifted away to the island I mentioned in the beggining, where she lived for the rest of her life. She spent the first years trying to find a way to return home, but the trauma left her unable to evolve. Anyway, years after that, Eeva had an egg (how it happened isn't important, but you can all blame a roaming Ditto).

The interesting stuff is that from that egg, twin Eevees hatched. Eeva named one Adam, because she liked that name, and the other Nappa, since she liked Dragon Ball Z.
