  1. Son of the past king of Tripoli, the civil war that saw his father's kingdom shattered and he and his mother deposed and ousted from the Holy land in Exile by loyalist also saw him spend many a year in Father's Milan Estate, raised with what little funds they were able to procure before their flight in the dead of night. For many a year he was raised as most princes are, in etiquette that is, for elegance was something he was foreign too, his only memories of his home being the first fires of civil war, and him clutching his mother's dress as they sailed away from the place where his father was buried, where he was born, and where his uncle now rules. Many years past, and the young boy developed much as his father did, a hidden fire burning brightly within. He was raised hearing the Great tales of his father, the his conquest and rule over Tripoli, His coronation, The Great Siege of Cairo, The Defense of Damascus, and of the Great pagans who tried to tear the world apart. He learned of what made his father a great king, and aspired to be like him. Eventually his mother died, and final bit of money dried up. He was unceremoniously ousted from the home a pauper, his only possession being the great black armor and his father's old sword, the only memories of the man he had, aside from the generally published book by him on the ways of war. With only the tools of war available to him, Crispinus became a mercenary, joining a band of Hedge Knights who followed the teaching of the Fallen Knight Sir Walter. After a few years in the Band of the Holy Chalice, as it was known, Crispinus had enough money to get his own band of rough men to follow him, now in his early Twenties, he dubbed this new party of his the "Scions of Tripoli" after his rightful home and claim, and in respect to his eventual ambitions. A few months later after a few contracts in the HRE with some pagan incursion in the North, word was sent out of the Call for a Second Crusade. Aiming to make his father proud and possibly make a new kingdom for himself, Crispinus set southward with haste to honor the spirit of his father, and all the other great men who fought in the First Crusade. DUES VULT!
