  1. I woke up after about 5 hours of sleeping and had a hard time getting back to sleep. I would slowly drift to sleep but then I would think something and wake up again. I finally slipped into a dream while laying on my stomach. In the dream, i was at my computer checking twitter and listening to music. Strange for a dream to be so mundane. For whatever reason, I sat back in my chair and closed my eyes, entering a meditative state. I lost awareness of my dream body in the chair and i felt like i was in an empty space spinning rapidly. It felt like my arms were spread out and formed the axis that i was spinning on. My body felt like one of the cars on this ride http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zipper_%28ride%29 . After spinning for about 10 seconds, I decided to kick it up a notch and i started spinning absurdly fast and my axis of rotation was moving up and down. I got this weird feeling of being unsafe. It was as if i was on the zipper ride while it was malfunctioning and breaking apart, but still spinning very very fast. I decided i had enough, but i realized i had gone out of control and was stuck in this odd mind state. I could not detect any of my body parts and i felt like i would be permanently stuck like this. After a lot of struggling, i got one dream eye open and saw nothing but the glow of the screen about 10 feet in front of me, surrounded by darkness. As my eye opened, my axis of rotation changed so that i was facing the screen at all times and i could see the glow of the screen spinning in circles. After more struggling, i wiggled my real life fingers and suddenly realized i was in sleep paralysis laying in bed. It was the first time i had ever experienced waking sleep paralysis, but after about 10-20 seconds I was able to get up. Very strange and almost scary experience. It was fun though.
