Ordeal in Ordon, Session 1

  5. <DM> *A party of four, or rather, four people that happened to end up in the same place at the same time, arrives at the palisade gates of the peaceful Ordon Village, a village that's right next to the warzone that is Moblin Forest. Why they decided to build a village there, we will never know.*

  7. <DM> it's not the same, but it's based off it
  8. <DM> a good number of the characters are there as well
  9. <DM> *Among them is Lunaria, the blue-skinned one belonging to an unknown race (to anyone's knowledge), a Lizalfos that looks like he's on fire but actually just has bright orange skin, a human with.... actually I didn't look up Tyria's description, and a...... furry creature with really large ears.

  12. * Tyria_Lazzen is just sleeping, reluctant of the plot

  14. <DM> *All of you came with the knowledge that supposedly, the Mayor here was asking for help with dealing with the Moblins. ... yet upon looking into the village, there's no one to greet you, except silence.*

  16. * Flareclaw walks up to the gates and looks off into the distance.
  17. <Lunaria> can I check for traps?
  18. <Nimono> I thought this was supposed to be a populated village. Where's all the people?
  19. <DM> Sure! .... except there's no traps. Finally, after you all stand there in reluctance of the plot, you see a guard walking towards you, from across the bridge on the other side of the river.

  22. <Nimono> Ah, a person! *hops up and down, waving his arms*
  23. * Flareclaw sees a guard, and casually begins to walk towards said guard.
  24. <DM> *He waves back... and then falls over before he reaches you. You notice an arrow lodged very deeply in his shoulder, as he's struggling to get back up.*
  25. * Tyria_Lazzen is still asleep
  26. <Lunaria> oh
  27. <DM> *A rock falls spontaneously from the sky, landing on Tyria_Lazzen's head.*
  28. <Lunaria> I carefully walk over and inspect the guards injury
  29. * Tyria_Lazzen gets hit in the head, but doesn't wake up
  30. <Nimono> Is it serious? I think I can heal his injury if it's not
  31. <DM> *You check it out... he's bleeding quite a bit from the arrow injury, and he's got dents all over his armor. Looks like he took quite a beating.*
  32. <DM> *You might be able to heal it. Would thoust like to try?*
  33. <Lunaria> He looks seriously hurt
  34. * InjuredGuard mutters something out...
  35. <InjuredGuard> Augh... the darn... Moblins...
  36. * InjuredGuard passes out.
  37. <Nimono> I cast Heal Beam, alpha on the guard to attempt to heal him
  38. * Lunaria tries to stop the bleeding via mundane means
  39. * Flareclaw begins looking around for the source of the arrows.
  40. * Tyria_Lazzen wakes up
  41. <DM> *Nimon, you cast a mystical green beam of laser- I mean healing at the InjuredGuard. It swirls around his wound, popping the arrow out and stopping his bleeding.*
  42. <Lunaria> oh
  43. <DM> .... you're now Nimon, apparently
  44. <Lunaria> :<
  45. <DM> *Flareclaw, you look for arrows, yes?
  46. <Nimono> Ah, excellent, it looks like I was successful. Are you alright now, sir?
  47. <Lunaria> he's out cold
  48. <DM> *In the distance, Flareclaw, you see an arrow fly straight into the river, not far off from you.*
  49. <Lunaria> We should probably not stay out here in the open
  50. <DM> ..... did I just say that
  51. <DM> In the distance --> not far off
  52. <Nimono> hrm, i guess healing won't bring someone back to consciousness...
  53. * InjuredGuard starts to move, after a bit of time passes.
  54. <Nimono> ! he's awake!
  55. <Lunaria> :v
  56. * InjuredGuard gets back up and looks at you folks.
  57. * Flareclaw face-palms as apparently distance is measured in millimeters around here.
  58. <Nimono> Are you ok?
  59. <InjuredGuard> ... *muttering* this has to be one of the weirdest parties I've ever seen.
  60. * Flareclaw runs off towards where the arrow flew from.
  61. <InjuredGuard> I'm.. better now. Yes, I'm okay.
  62. <Nimono> Ah... If...if you say so, sir...
  63. <Lunaria> I wasn't aware it was your birthday
  64. <Nimono> Where were you when you got shot?
  65. <InjuredGuard> .... touche.
  66. <Tyria_Lazzen> Sorry, I was asleep for the sole purpose of recovery
  67. <DM> *Flareclaw, you head across the bridge, and as you do, you hear the sounds of battle in the distance. It's on the other side of the village, which for the record, is barely in your sight. HAH, OFF IN THE DISTANCE THAT!*
  68. <InjuredGuard> I... was at the other side. The other gate... the Moblins attacked. Two guards were down when I fled.

  70. * Flareclaw leaves the rest of his so-called party behind as he heads straight to where the action is.
  71. <InjuredGuard> Don't kill me for my insolence, please, I'm just trying to survive!
  72. <Nimono> We're not here to hurt you! We want to help!
  73. <Lunaria> You should take cover indoors, we'll go see if we can help the others!
  74. <InjuredGuard> Oh, thank the Goddesses! Are you per chance here on the Mayor's request?
  75. <Nimono> We are indeed!
  76. <InjuredGuard> Then, please, go help ward off the others at the other side!
  77. <InjuredGuard> I shall lay my life down in the inn..... *starts stumbling in that direction*
  78. * InjuredGuard is clearly not back up to full health yet.
  79. <Nimono> Sir, are you sure you're alright? You don't seem to be doing well...
  80. <DM> *There is a path leading all the way to the other side. You also notice your Lizalfos friend has already ditched you and is on the other side of the bridge.*
  81. <InjuredGuard> I shall survive, friend. Go now, with haste!
  82. <DM> kay, since Flareclaw went first, I'mma switch over to him and run that real fast before you guys catch up and arrive....
  83. <Nimono> Alright, thank you sir! *runs off towards the bridge*
  84. * Lunaria quickly absconds after flareclaw
  85. * Tyria_Lazzen justs levitates herself over there. Wait, what?
  86. <DM> *Tyria is dragged along the ground by an invisible force.*
  87. <Nimono> I hope that guard will be okay...
  88. <DM> *Flareclaw, with your quick-runnin' Lizalfos feet (I think... I didn't check your Courage stat)... you arrive at the other gate to find a group of 3 Moblins (two with spears, another in the back with a bow) standing over two dead guards, and another guard to the side attempting to yell somethin' rather fierce....
  89. <OrdonGuard> I REMAIN FIRM IN MY STANCE, YOU PIGS WILL NEVER TAKE ME DOWN!
  90. <Flareclaw> (Courage is 5.)
  91. <DM> (hmm.. I guess that's average running speed at your level)

  93. <DM> *Flareclaw, the Moblins have not noticed you, despite the fact you're actually kinda tall.*

  97. <DM> *The Moblins are still approaching towards the OrdonGuard, who's acting like an Imperial Guardsmen from 40k.

  821. <NotInjuredGuard> Ah, yes... it is odd. I've been a guard here for a while, mostly while Mayor Bo was around. But ever since Milo took over, things here feel... off.

  824. <NotInjuredGuard> There's also a nice peacefulness among the villagers, but now half of them are sick, and the other half just stay holed up in their houses usually. Perhaps it's the Moblin attacks, it's just... tiring everyone out.
