- <DM> *A party of four, or rather, four people that happened to end up in the same place at the same time, arrives at the palisade gates of the peaceful Ordon Village, a village that's right next to the warzone that is Moblin Forest. Why they decided to build a village there, we will never know.*

- <DM> a good number of the characters are there as well
- <DM> *Among them is Lunaria, the blue-skinned one belonging to an unknown race (to anyone's knowledge), a Lizalfos that looks like he's on fire but actually just has bright orange skin, a human with.... actually I didn't look up Tyria's description, and a...... furry creature with really large ears.

- <DM> *All of you came with the knowledge that supposedly, the Mayor here was asking for help with dealing with the Moblins. ... yet upon looking into the village, there's no one to greet you, except silence.*

- * Flareclaw walks up to the gates and looks off into the distance.

- <Nimono> I thought this was supposed to be a populated village. Where's all the people?
- <DM> Sure! .... except there's no traps. Finally, after you all stand there in reluctance of the plot, you see a guard walking towards you, from across the bridge on the other side of the river.

- <Nimono> Ah, a person! *hops up and down, waving his arms*
- * Flareclaw sees a guard, and casually begins to walk towards said guard.
- <DM> *He waves back... and then falls over before he reaches you. You notice an arrow lodged very deeply in his shoulder, as he's struggling to get back up.*
- * Tyria_Lazzen is still asleep
- <Lunaria> oh
- <DM> *A rock falls spontaneously from the sky, landing on Tyria_Lazzen's head.*
- <Lunaria> I carefully walk over and inspect the guards injury
- * Tyria_Lazzen gets hit in the head, but doesn't wake up
- <Nimono> Is it serious? I think I can heal his injury if it's not
- <DM> *You check it out... he's bleeding quite a bit from the arrow injury, and he's got dents all over his armor. Looks like he took quite a beating.*
- <DM> *You might be able to heal it. Would thoust like to try?*
- <Lunaria> He looks seriously hurt
- * InjuredGuard mutters something out...
- <InjuredGuard> Augh... the darn... Moblins...
- * InjuredGuard passes out.
- <Nimono> I cast Heal Beam, alpha on the guard to attempt to heal him
- * Lunaria tries to stop the bleeding via mundane means
- * Flareclaw begins looking around for the source of the arrows.
- * Tyria_Lazzen wakes up
- <DM> *Nimon, you cast a mystical green beam of laser- I mean healing at the InjuredGuard. It swirls around his wound, popping the arrow out and stopping his bleeding.*

- <DM> *Flareclaw, you look for arrows, yes?
- <Nimono> Ah, excellent, it looks like I was successful. Are you alright now, sir?

- <DM> *In the distance, Flareclaw, you see an arrow fly straight into the river, not far off from you.*
- <Lunaria> We should probably not stay out here in the open

- <Nimono> hrm, i guess healing won't bring someone back to consciousness...
- * InjuredGuard starts to move, after a bit of time passes.
- <Nimono> ! he's awake!

- * InjuredGuard gets back up and looks at you folks.
- * Flareclaw face-palms as apparently distance is measured in millimeters around here.

- <InjuredGuard> ... *muttering* this has to be one of the weirdest parties I've ever seen.
- * Flareclaw runs off towards where the arrow flew from.
- <InjuredGuard> I'm.. better now. Yes, I'm okay.

- <Lunaria> I wasn't aware it was your birthday

- <Tyria_Lazzen> Sorry, I was asleep for the sole purpose of recovery
- <DM> *Flareclaw, you head across the bridge, and as you do, you hear the sounds of battle in the distance. It's on the other side of the village, which for the record, is barely in your sight. HAH, OFF IN THE DISTANCE THAT!*
- <InjuredGuard> I... was at the other side. The other gate... the Moblins attacked. Two guards were down when I fled.

- * Flareclaw leaves the rest of his so-called party behind as he heads straight to where the action is.
- <InjuredGuard> Don't kill me for my insolence, please, I'm just trying to survive!
- <Nimono> We're not here to hurt you! We want to help!
- <Lunaria> You should take cover indoors, we'll go see if we can help the others!
- <InjuredGuard> Oh, thank the Goddesses! Are you per chance here on the Mayor's request?
- <Nimono> We are indeed!
- <InjuredGuard> Then, please, go help ward off the others at the other side!
- <InjuredGuard> I shall lay my life down in the inn..... *starts stumbling in that direction*
- * InjuredGuard is clearly not back up to full health yet.
- <Nimono> Sir, are you sure you're alright? You don't seem to be doing well...
- <DM> *There is a path leading all the way to the other side. You also notice your Lizalfos friend has already ditched you and is on the other side of the bridge.*
- <InjuredGuard> I shall survive, friend. Go now, with haste!
- <DM> kay, since Flareclaw went first, I'mma switch over to him and run that real fast before you guys catch up and arrive....
- <Nimono> Alright, thank you sir! *runs off towards the bridge*
- * Lunaria quickly absconds after flareclaw
- * Tyria_Lazzen justs levitates herself over there. Wait, what?
- <DM> *Tyria is dragged along the ground by an invisible force.*
- <Nimono> I hope that guard will be okay...
- <DM> *Flareclaw, with your quick-runnin' Lizalfos feet (I think... I didn't check your Courage stat)... you arrive at the other gate to find a group of 3 Moblins (two with spears, another in the back with a bow) standing over two dead guards, and another guard to the side attempting to yell somethin' rather fierce....
- <OrdonGuard> I REMAIN FIRM IN MY STANCE, YOU PIGS WILL NEVER TAKE ME DOWN!

Inside, it's a cozy place, multiple windows bringing in a fresh breeze despite the dead bodies outside that should be causing a rotting smell, a little fireplace to the side, both for lighting and heating (it's summer though...), and a few comfy couches and chairs to sit on.*
- <MayorMilo> Ahh, nothing beats a warm house! It's a bit chilly out there, isn't it?

- <MayorMilo> Yes, we do. I took up residence here about a week ago. Mayor Bo became sick, and I have been running as the Mayor and leader of Ordon Village in his place.
- <MayorMilo> However, since then, attacks from the Moblins happened daily. I've heard that this location is attacked by Moblins, but this much seems abnormal!
- <Nimono> That does seem weird...
- <Nimono> Clearly, something about the previous mayor's presence kept them mostly at bay...
- <MayorMilo> Hmm, perhaps...
- * MayorMilo is over 7 feet tall and rather muscular. Clearly, the previous mayor must've been a giant or something!
- <Lunaria> Maybe the previous mayer did something for the moblins, and now when he's sick and can't, they are mad over it?
- * Lunaria shrugs
- <Nimono> you know, that's a good theory...
- <MayorMilo> Hmm, perhaps.
- <Lunaria> Did you try asking the moblins why they are attacking?
- <MayorMilo> ... no, actually. They... seemed to be so aggressive, we've just been making sure we don't die in the process.
- <DM> *And yet you recall two of the Moblins bowing mid-fight to your OP lizard friend.*
- <Nimono> yeah, given the chaos here, I...don't think they would've even been willing to talk unless someone was besting them in combat
- <Nimono> ...you know...maybe that's what happened? maybe the previous mayor bested their leader in combat, so they agreed to do what he said?
- <MayorMilo> Why would they speak even if you do best them? They're the attackers, THEY'RE the monsters!
- * MayorMilo slams his fist down on a conveniently placed table, rumbling it but not quite causing it any damage.
- <Nimono> eep!

- <Lunaria> Moblins follows the rules of the strong, usually
- * MayorMilo breathes deeply.
- <MayorMilo> Hmm, I have not heard about this...
- <Lunaria> so a show of strenght can convince them of things

- <MayorMilo> He is the Goat Herder, up at the ranch at the northernmost part of our village.

- <MayorMilo> You should see him, perhaps he can help with this "show of strength". That'll show the Moblins who's boss around here!

- * Flareclaw motions at the window on the north side of the house.
- <Nimono> What's up, Flareclaw?
- * Nimono looks out the window Flareclaw pointed out
- <DM> *Through that window, you can see a palisade wall to the north across the river, along with a goat wandering out of the ranch.*
- <Flareclaw> (We can see through the shop?!?!)
- <DM> *Err... a shop blocks your view. You see no goats.*
- <Lunaria> *bääääää*
- <MayorMilo> Yes, just beyond that shop is the ranch. I apologize about the shop, but they are also sick and indisposed at the moment.
- <MayorMilo> Should we manage to repel the Moblins for good, I shall make sure you all get a hefty reward.
- <Lunaria> sounds good to me! :D
- <Nimono> Ah... It's starting to get a bit dark. Is there somewhere we can rest for the night?
- <MayorMilo> Ah, yes there is. There's a building at the entrance to our village, that should be the inn.
- <DM> *You recall that first guard limping towards that building in your memory. That one's the inn.*
- <Lunaria> Yeah, the injured guard went there
- <Nimono> Ah, right...
- <Lunaria> hopefully he's better
- <Nimono> Yeah, I hope he's alright...
- <MayorMilo> A guard? Why was there a guard over there?
- * MayorMilo is very confused.
- <Nimono> We saw him come over the bridge with an arrow sticking out of him
- <Lunaria> He was injured from an arrow fired by the moblins
- <Nimono> I managed to heal him, so he went to rest in the Inn
- <Lunaria> Luckily he managed to avoid a worse fate
- * MayorMilo stares in contemplation for a moment before turning back to you.
- <MayorMilo> I see... thank you.
- <Nimono> What do you say, guys? Should we head to the Inn for the night?
- <MayorMilo> It is getting late, perhaps you shall all get some rest at the inn. See Fado in the morning once you are well rested.
- <Nimono> Of course. Thank you, Mayor
- * Flareclaw bows to Milo, then exits and heads towards the Inn.
- <MayorMilo> Normally, there's a fee, but given our.. situation, it should be a free rest. Enjoy your stay, folks!
- <Lunaria> thank you
- <Nimono> Ah, thank you! *waves and follows Flareclaw*
- * Lunaria gives a courteous bow
- * Lunaria runs after Nimono
- <DM> *You all head out of MayorMilo's cabin and head towards the inn, a two-story building with that once-injured guard standing guard in front of it. He seems better now, recognizes you all, and waves at you.*
- * NotInjuredGuard has the best name ever, suckers.
- <Nimono> Ah! How are you doing, sir?
- <Nimono> Have you healed well?
- <NotInjuredGuard> Ah, why yes I have, thank you for asking!
- <Nimono> Awesome! We were quite worried about you...
- <NotInjuredGuard> Man, these new guards that were hired, they're relentless! They refuse to fall... I'm quite jealous of their ability to stand their ground in the most dire of situations.
- <NotInjuredGuard> Are the Moblins gone?
- <Lunaria> Yeah... you lost a few commerads though

- <Nimono> Well, they're gone for now, from what we've been told by the mayor...
- <NotInjuredGuard> Ah, that is a pity about the fallen comrades.
- <NotInjuredGuard> Was it you that repelled the Moblins?
- * Lunaria raises hand

- * Flareclaw snaps his claw.
- <Nimono> Yup, we got rid of them
- <DM> *A little burst of fire and the screams of dying Moblins appears from Flareclaw's claw. I'd say that's proof enough.*
- <NotInjuredGuard> Thank you, thank you all! Please, rest up in the inn before it is dark. I shall ensure your safety here.
- <Nimono> ...by the way, what can you tell us about the situation with the Moblins? The mayor told us that before the previous one got sick, the moblin attacks weren't as frequent as they are now.
- <DM> (nice catch)
- <NotInjuredGuard> Ah, yes... it is odd. I've been a guard here for a while, mostly while Mayor Bo was around. But ever since Milo took over, things here feel... off.
- <Nimono> How so?
- <Lunaria> How long was it since Milo took over?
- <NotInjuredGuard> There's also a nice peacefulness among the villagers, but now half of them are sick, and the other half just stay holed up in their houses usually. Perhaps it's the Moblin attacks, it's just... tiring everyone out.
- <NotInjuredGuard> A week, why do you ask?
- <Lunaria> that must be some sickness then, if Bo isn't better yet
- <Lunaria> have to tried getting a healer here?
- <NotInjuredGuard> Indeed. I have not seen him out of his house either.
- <NotInjuredGuard> Hmm, it was not in Mayor Milo's request for a healer.

- <Nimono> Clearly, the events of the villagers getting sick and the moblin attacks becoming more frequent are linked
