Write a paper of 600 – 700 words discussing the research principles found in the assigned reading and their application to research in human resources. Include the following in your paper:
The goals of research in HR. Include at least one example of a problem within your organization that might be addressed more effectively by using a data-driven research model.
A comparison of the applications of primary and secondary research. Your comparison must include at least one HR example of primary data used in your organization and one HR example of secondary data used in your organization.
An explanation of how reliability and validity are used and why they are important to human resource research. Include a specific example of the consequences of using data without ensuring that it is both reliable and valid.
As noted in the instructor policies document, include a minimum of three peer-reviewed articles from the UOP library to support your reasoning. Review the week 1 grading guide before submitting this assignment.
