  1. Moderators with a good amount of experience when it comes to finding out if a player is cheating or not.
  2.
  3. not having players spectate a pug, rather have them using a GOTV, doesn't matter if a mod or pug co allows for it - it still could be used for ghosting or suspicion of ghosting/hacking which could lead to false hackusations etc.
  4.
  5. Properly dealing with hackusations, way too many members have been complaining about informing mods about this and mods aren't doing the necessary about it. Consequences? Members feel ignored and start their own witch hunt, confronting the subject which'll lead to him cheating less obvious or gets bullied out of the community, feels left out and just leaves. Besides this, without properly dealing with these hackusations, players will start to throw pugs, not take them serious anymore or not wanting to participate if person X is playing in the pug.
  6.
  7. When people are being judged of supposedly cheating or not, have a specialized type of personnel inspecting the demo with actual CS experience and not just someone who thinks he's a know-it-all.
  8. I've messaged ch0ngy and Slugshot for another valid input on things and see what they say about suspicious players. If you feel like you can't judge on your own, these are CS:GO Trainers, they don't have a lot of work so give them work and ask them to watch and look for evidence within a few days.
  9.
  10. When dealing with the hackusations inform the player that he/she needs to be quiet about it and not randomly spout false information or publicly speak of the person cheating, way too many people know which will inform the possible hacker that he/she is on surveillance.
  11.
  12. sidenote - I've noticed that all of the past couple of hackers and cheaters that we've banned tried to become besties with CS:Mods, so take note of this so probably that they have moderator friends that can defend them and say "oh he's not cheating".

  14. Also, speaking of recruitment.. Here's an offer we SHOULD consider: Give trialists a more warm welcome, give them more attention and make sure they meet new people. A lot of trialists will feel left out, I remember joining this community at first as a lonewolf and not being motivated to join because I didn't know people. We can make these trialists feel welcome to let them meet with other trialists in pugs, sort the teams out (if possible) so that both teams are equally filled with trialists and members, once again.. IF POSSIBLE. Also host more fun events that'll get everyone in 1 room laughing and having fun, and actively mention the new trialists so that they feel welcomed and not left out.
  15.
  16. Yes we do pull in new trialists but half of them are just going inactive or leaving because they can't come back and look forward to meeting new friends. Just an idea me and Dan spoke about.
  17.
  18. Sorry for not attending - thats my say of things xoxo
