Normal Norman: Not Normal Twilight Part 1

>Laying in bed thinking
>Since yesterday at the beach I wonder what this thing can do
>I decided to try it out, by trying to slice different materials
>I started with wood
>It burned it out easily, without any problem
>Tried with metal
>Melted it without a problem too
>Then after lotsa testing and writing on a notepad, I finally decided to try it on onrganic mattter.
>Found a rat hole and took the rat out
>Put it in a cage so it won't escape
>Im pretty sure fluttershy will be devastated if she saw this
>So I activate it and as soon as it touches the rat it just vanquished and strange green orbs started floating around
>Sweat started running through my forehead
>Fastly I picked up my notepad and wrote everything
>I slowly opened the cage and touched the floating orbs
>It felt... strange
>It feels, like im becoming insane. Sudden visions enter my head and show me impossible geometry and endless knowledge about the universe
>It was overwhelming me, and it felt like i couldn't hold it out any longer
>When i pulled my hand away from them, everything returned the way it was
>But suddenly
>I fainted.


>Be fluttershy.
>I wonder how Twilight is doing.
>Im gonna go pay her a visit.
>Start knocking on the door.
>No one answers.
>Knock hard.
>Still nothing.
>Start shouting.
>"TWILIGHT, ARE YOU THERE?!?"
>But all that could've come out is a small whisper.
>Decide to try to open the door.
>Its unlocked.
>Enter Twilight's bedroom.
>I am horrified to see Twilight on the floor near a cage with strange floating orbs.
>Quickly turn her, and start slapping the fuck outta her face.
>She wakes up in a matter of minutes.
>"Twilight! What happened here?!"
>"Uh, what?"
>"Are you okay?"
>"Y-y-yea, I feel ok, but my head hurts a bit."
>"Here take some aspirin."
>"Thanks"
>"What are those things?"
>"What things?"
>"Those" i said while pointing at the strange orbs
>"DONT TOUCH THEM!"
>I back away from them very fast
>"Why?"
>"I-I-I'm not sure."
>"Are you sure you are ok"?
>"Yes, I am.'
>Get a text

>"Fluttershy, I need some help from you and the others."
>I text her back
>"Ok, i'll come, but Twilight won't make it because she is having a headache."
>"Twilight, I gotta go, Rarity needs my help."
>"Ok, don't worry, i'll be fine."
>"Bye" i said as i slowly walk to the door looking back at Twilight incase she faints again.

>Damn, Purple really hasn't been looking good these past few days
>Everyday we see her, she looks tired as if she hasnt slept for days.
>At some point she falls asleep with her eyes wide open staring at a random spot.
>When we eat at a restraunt, she says she wants to go to the bathroom, and later when we check on her we find her asleep on the sink
>Im starting to worry a bit
>Yellow also seems to be keeping an eye on her, she follows her arround everywhere as if she is afraid something will happen to her.
>And Brad looks alot worried for Purple too. He's been annoying me with questions since the first day we saw Purple this way

>After the incident, i don't feel well at all.
>I keep falling asleep in class, I walk around the halls before i realize im going to wrong way.
>I have the huge desire to sleep but everytime i go to bed i get those visions again, and i feel as if im fading in my sleep.
>This cant go for long
>I need to find a way to stop this
>Get the machine again
>Try to shoot the orbs
>Nothing happens
>Try again
>Still nothing happens
>Get close to the orbs and examine very carefully
>I see a dead bird out of the window
>Put it in the cage with the orbs
>Nothing happens
>Shoot the dead bird
>It vanquishes and yellow orbs start floating around
>But these had a particular movement trajectory
>They were moving very slowly in the shape of an hour glass
>Get close to them and touch them
>My vision suddenly starts to get blurry
>Feel myself dragged away by some mysterious force
>End up in a beautiful backyard
>I started looking around to see where this place might be
>This is our neighbourhood
>And this is... my house
>Go inside to see an old woman dressed in a purple sweater and a purple dress
>She doesen't notice me at all and continues baking a cake
>wait a second
>Is that... me?
>Vission starts to blur again and that dragging feeling came back
>I regain my consiousness
>5 minute have passed
>Look around for the orbs
>The green one are at their cage
>But the yellow ones started moving really fast in the same shape
>They slowed over time, but i decided to try to touch them again
>Nothing happens
>I write down on the notepad everything i saw
>Hear a knock on the door
>Walk out of the room while hiding the yellow orbs in the cage with the green ones
>Answer the door to see Norman with a worried look on his face
>"Oh, hi, Norman, come in."
>"Purple, im gonna cut to the chase, whats happening to you these past few days?"
>"Oh, its nothing much really, im just probably sick."
>"Now, Purple, please, tell me whats going on."
>"Sigh, ok, but I have to show you."
>Walk upstairs to my room with norman
>Open the door and let norman sit on my bed
>I uncovered the cage and Norman suddenly started freaking out
>"Purple, what is THAT?"
>"I'm not sure, yet, but its not my magic."
>"How did it happen?"
>After the question i got to the drawer and show him the machine
>"I made this in the beach party a couple of days ago"
>"Wait, so this was the reason the water was so hot?"
>"Yes."
>"How do you power it?"
>"With some of the crystals you found in that cave at that bible camp you were in."
>"Weren't they covered in turkey?"
>"Yes, for some strange reason."
>Norman's phone rings

>"Norman when are you gonna get home sweetie?"

>"Ok, but hurry up, i have an announcment to make."

>"Purple i gotta go, see you later."

>"Oh and Purple, careful with those things, promise?"

>Norman gives me a wave and leaves the house.
>As soon as i get in my room again, I Don't see the green or the yellow orbs. I only see.... red ones.
>"Oh great, more mysterious orbs to touch." i say to myself
>Decide to touch them anyway
>The feeling of the touch burned my hand
>It was extremely hot!
>Everything went black..... everything.
>Wake up in a manner of seconds
>I don't see nothing unusual
>I don't feel different
>Maybe these orbs just make you black out for a moment?

>Write down on notepad everything.
>"Gosh, i really need some sleep."

>Perfect time for sleep
>No visions enterted my head and i could sleep very comfortably



>School started again
>Decided not to mess with those things for some time
>Until the incident in the cafeteria
>It was tuesday afternoon
>Lunch break
>Me and Norman are sitting togheter and chatting about those orbs
>When suddenly
>Some boys come at our table
>They turn to Norman
>"Hey, racist, are you done checking your privilege?"

>"Shut up, faggot, we are gonna teach you a lesson."
>I stand up against them
>"Hey, leave him alone you big bullies."
>They start laughing their asses off

>Wake up at the schools hospital wing not feeling well
>My heartrate was 78 and stable
>Nurse Red Heart is taking care of me
>Norman and the others left some flowers and cards like: "Get well soon."
>"Ah you're awake." said Nurse Red Heart
>"How long have i been sleeping."
>"This is the 3rd day now, do you feel good, do you need anything?"
>"My head aches a little, what heppened in the cafeteria afterwards?"
>"Well Norman came here saying you fainted in the cafeteria. Then we bringed you here."
>"What day is it?"
>"Its friday, dear."
>"Where are my friends?"
>"They are currently having a lunch break. You should be fine, go talk to them."

>I swiftly leave the hospital and go to the cafeteria.

>They don't notice me and i decide to suprise them
>Hide behined the nearest table and then jump at theirs

>"Oh thank god, you're ok." said fluttershy
>"How do you feel? asked rarity
>"BRADICAL!" screamed Brad
>"Im ok, im ok."
>"We were so worried about you." said pinkie in a seriouds tone
>"No need to worry now, im here."
>"Are you sure you're ok, sugarcube, you still seem exhausted." said applejack in a worried voice
>"Im ok, my head aches a little i just need some sleep, thats all."
>"Now, Twilight, we want you to get rid of those things. Norman told us all about them."
>"No, I must keep researching them, its really important."
>"What's important here, is that these things are affecting you in a bad way." said rainbow dash

>"Fine, since you dont have faith in me, then i don't think you're my friends"

>Before applejack could finish i quickly turn around and start running while covering my face with my hands and crying
>I went home and got on my bed with my cries muffled by the pillow

>I haven't slept for 3 days now
>And the more i research those things, the more they affect me

>Im going to see what to do in the old book i found in the cave i found the crystals in.
>It says here that a touch with these orbs are lethal and effects last forever. It says here
>To remove the effects of the xanus orbs, one must gather all 4 colours and collide them in one.

>So, I need all four orbs.
>I had only green and yellow, but they collided and became red.
>Not sure if that means i have one or three colours, but i will take a risk and search for the blue ones.
>The green ones, came from a rat, as in a rodent
>The yellow ones, came from a burd, as in a Aves
>The red ones, was combined from them, but im not sure what they come from
>But, the blue ones, must be from a Pisces, as in a fish
>Where am i gonna find a fish.
>"SPIIIIIIKE?"

>"Do you know where we can find some fish?"
>"Well there's a small lake nearby, why do you need fish, is it for those weird stuff?"

>"Okay, i'll take you there... Hey are you alright? You don't look very well."

>As spike lead me to the lake, my vision was constantly fading from the lack of energy.
>I sit near a tree too tired to go on
>I said to spike while gasping for air

>Twilight doesen't look well at all, so i decided to catch that fish myself
>Although, im not sure how thats gonna happen, might aswell chase the fish and hope i can bite them.
>Enter the water, its gud water. Not too cold, not too hot.
>Start searching for fish
>The water was shallow so i could see the bottom.
>Find a fish and prepare to attack
>Jump and start barking
>Fail to catch fish as it is 2fast4me.
>Try again this time with no barking.
>ALMOST catch the fish, but im able to wound it
>Ok, third time's the charm

>INstantly catch fish between jaws
>Im ready to go back to twilight
>Start making my way through the forest
>See twilight on the same tree, napping
>Im not sure if i should wake her up, so i leave the fish near her and go back to the water, it was just too gud to leave it so soon.

>I am in celestia's castle back at canterlot
>The halls are empty and i could only hear whimpers in the distance
>"Hello? Is anyone there?"

>Go to the source of the noise
>Its coming from the inside of the door from the castle's wine cellar

>I start sweating and my hands start to shake
>Slowly reach for door and slowly opening it
>"Hello?" i said with an afraid voice while entering
>Just as i get in the middle of the hall the door behind me shuts
>I try to open it but its no use, it won't budge.
>In the distance i could see Peincess celesita's shadow
>"How foolish of you to come back here. After.... After.
>The lights go on and i could see celestia's face
>"YOU KILLED US ALL!"
>It was all covered in blood and her eyes... they were missing
>The racks with bottles started falling
>I turn around and start running as fast as my legs can bare
>But it felt as im not going anywhere and just running in one place
>"Now, i think its time to pay your sins."
>Then she whispers softly in my ear
>"With your life."
>Suddenly wake up all shaking and trembelling
>Spike was just coming this way
>"Twilight, you don't look good at all."
>"Hurry spike, i want to finish this once and for all."
>Then i grab him and start running as fast as i can.
>As soon as i got in my room, i instantly see the orbs in the cage and the machine
>I try to activate it, but it needed its crystals to be replaced with new one
>Luckily i had more incase this happens
>I open up the container of the machine and replaced the old crystals with new ones
>Use the machine on the fish and as i suspected, the fish turned into blue orbs
>I really wanted to see what they do, but i had no energy and was in a hurry
>Collide the blue ones with the red ones
>Then suddenly, a blinding flash
>Blinded, i cover my eyes and when i open them i see a big white orb, but this one wasn't floating
>It was solid, and affected by gravity
>I touched it and nothing happened
>So i will be able to carry it around
>Put it in bag and start sending a text to norman, but then remember they dont trust me
>"If they dont trust me, i will prove to them that i can be."
>As soon as i walk out i see norman driving a car and the rest are there sitting and waiting
>"Hop in twilight, spike told us all about it." said norman
>"Thank you all, after what i said..."
>"Don't worry about that sugarcube, we all know it was those things that made you say it, and we really know you dont mean it."
>I get in the car and norman floors the pedal
>"So where to Purple?"
>"Xanus' Cove"
>"Oh god, please don't me thats where the bible camp is."
>"Yes"
>"GODDAMMIT PURPLE."



>As soon as we reach Xanus' Cove, i heard a whisper in my ear
>It was princess celestia's voice
>"Stop, you will kill us all!"
>But i ignore it and continue
>This place was like a maze twists and turns everywhere
>We got lost and we even found a dead end, but it didnt look like one
>The walls were hollow
>Punch the wall with all my strength

>"Luckily i have all kinds of stuff in this bag" said norman
>"Sledgehammer, normal hammer, nails, screws, screwdrivers, paper, pencil, etc."

>"Okay" norman said as he passed the hammer to me
>With one swing i brought down the whole wall, revealing a violette gate, which was covered in diamonds
>There was text on the top of the gate
>Be warry traveler as this gate will open to the person who's heart is pure, otherwise the Eternal Guardian will hunt you down
>I walk up to the gate and nothing happens at first
>But then
>Green lights started lighting up the gate and it started to crack
>And then
>BOOOOOM!
>The gate exploded revealing the chamber, and the eternal pedestal.
>As soon as i reached the pedestal another explosion occured
>But this time a unbelieveable monster appeared
>I had a head of a dragon and a body of a human, and it was covered in platinum armor
>It carried a spiked mace and it was trying to kill us
>Or from what i've read in the book it was trying to protect the chamber
>I go to the pedestal as soon as the beast lifted his mace
>But when it saw me hide near it, he put it's weapon down, so he wont destroy the pedestal
>I swiftly put the orb out of the bag and put it on the pedestal
>Feel a big pain and let out a piercing scream
>Another blinding flash
>Feel like im fading again
>"No, i must... hold... a little... longer."
>Everything went black
>I was dreaming again
>I saw celestia once again
>"Well, are you happy now? Have all of your cares been washed away?"
>"What do you mean?"
>"Oh, silly child, haven't you heard about the legend of xanus?"
>She starts walking around
>"5 million years ago Xanus and his brother Platnuu, did not like each other at all."
>"So much, that they were ready to bring pain to each other."
>"But their mother Kemaa did not like this at all."
>"But she couldn't do anything about it, her sons hated each other so much they would never give up."
>"So she said: - "I will make you separate worlds, because i can watch you like this no longer"
>"And so she did. But Xanus and Platnuu, weren't going to give up so easily."
>"They brought pain and suffering to the other one's world. So their mother gave up and tried to make a deal with them."
>"She said to them: - "I will make an orb that will protect the owners world from curses but at the cost of pain to the other ones world."
>"And then the brothers agreed to use the orb each day. First Xanus, then Platnuu and then Xanus again. Everyday switching the orbs owner until the death of them both."
>"But their father Nixem, in his outburst of rage, killed them both and separated the orb into 4 individual colors. Red, Green, Yellow and Blue.
>"And so thus the legend says:"
>"As long as the orb remains separated, no world shall suffer, but if it is collided and placed on the eternal pedestal, the curse will be used once more. As long as the orb remains in the said world, others will suffer from the curse."
>"Do you get it now child?"
>I start deeply wondering
>"As long as the orb remains in the said world, others will suffer from the curse."
>"So when i placed the orb i activated the curse and equestria has suffered?"
>"Yes, although we haven't died, our homes were destroyed, our food spoiled, its only a matter of time before we start to perish one by one.
>"But, how else would i keep myself from dying?"

>She then stares at me
>"Just climb the steps"
>Everything went black again and i wake up at the hospital.
