[19:14]	`GM	[As Liu and Jonah drudge away to deal with their "responsibilities", Ai finds herself somewhat unoccupied, having been given no formal orders.]
[19:18]	Ai`	's line of thinking quickly returns to her resourcive needs after the others are taken care of. In turn, she seeks out the Colonel.
[19:20]	`GM	[Ai finds the Colonel not far away, walking down a first-floor hallway to somewhere unknown. He doesn't appear to be in a gigantic hurry, and his mood is once again calm and collected.]

[19:21]	ColonelWalt	slows his pace as he notices the android approaching, but lets her make the first move.
[19:21]	Ai`	initiates contact with a basic greeting. In accordance with her upgraded social software, her question has a fitting rise towards the end.
[19:21]	Ai`	"May I ask something of you, Colonel?"
[19:22]	ColonelWalt	"Hmm? You may ask, though I guarantee no response."
[19:25]	Ai`	"May I receive orders from you to proceed alone with helping Miss Panzer?"
[19:27]	ColonelWalt	raises an eyebrow unexpectedly, folding his arms in front of him and tapping his fingers on his forearm.
[19:28]	ColonelWalt	"You are aware of my concerns with you working unsupervised, are you not?"
[19:29]	Ai`	nods.
[19:30]	Ai`	"I am, but Miss Panzer could sit on my shoulder and ensure I do nothing wrong. I can assure you I will not take any actions other than these orders."
[19:31]	ColonelWalt	deadpans.
[19:33]	ColonelWalt	"Ms. Panzer, as she stands, is physically incapable of preventing you from any wrongdoing that you may cause. Have you taken this into consideration?"
[19:34]	ColonelWalt	continues to put Ai through her paces. He does that a lot, it seems.
[19:35]	Ai`	nods again.
[19:36]	ColonelWalt	"And your solution?"
[19:37]	Ai`	"Miss Panzer could easily generate enough noise to warn other staff, which would lead to my apprehension, to which I would comply."
[19:38]	Ai`	"I wish only to help, and thus gain the energy and resources I need. Peacefully."
[19:38]	ColonelWalt	intentionally fails to hide a smirk peeking out from his mustache.
[19:38]	ColonelWalt	"In this world, we call it 'radio communication' Entity Ai."
[19:39]	ColonelWalt	"I'll inform her you'll be coming."
[19:39]	Ai`	Thank you.
[19:39]	Ai`	makes an abrupt about-face and begins making her way back to the communications room.

[20:28]	Panzer	continues her tryhard approach to network computing, running between her smartphone keyboard and a physical one. It's quite a sight to see considering she's making progress.
[20:30]	Ai`	"Hello again, 'Fraulein' Panzer."
[20:31]	Panzer	spins around any immediately goes for her cannon, though she doesn't fire it.
[20:32]	Panzer	"Ach, you!"
[20:32]	Panzer	glares at the android suspiciously, her cannon leveled.
[20:33]	Panzer	"Vhat trickery did you play to get the Kommandant to let you back in here?"
[20:36]	Ai`	"I received direct orders from the Colonel to proceed. I will only do what you say."
[20:38]	Panzer	keeps the cannon trained on her a few seconds for good measure, then returns it to her backpack.
[20:38]	Panzer	"Fery vell. I vas informed."
[20:39]	Panzer	"You may approach, fräulein."
[20:39]	Panzer	turns around and callously goes back to her typing, without explaining why she's ignoring her guest.
[20:43]	Ai`	steps closer and lays an open palm on the table next to the panzergirl.
[20:43]	Ai`	"If you desire, you may sit on my shoulder to ensure my work."
[20:45]	Panzer	stares at the open palm, like it's some sort of alien bear trap.
[20:46]	Ai`	"I will make your seat as well as possible."
[20:47]	Panzer	nudges it with her gimpy foot. Seeing no ill response, she finishes up a quick line of code and then hops on.
[20:48]	Panzer	"I vill require proper restraint, yet mobility!"
[20:48]	Panzer	[=-= *visibility]
[20:51]	Ai`	simply nods and raises the girl to her shoulder. In the short time it takes, her shoulder ripples and re-forms itself in a manner almost identical to the T-1000, except completely non-murderous.
[20:51]	Ai`	's chair, when all is said and done, looks rather comfortable. It also sits deep enough to avoid any risk of falling out.
[20:53]	Panzer	takes a seat and shifts herself around, testing it out. If Ai could see her face from this angle, she'd see a woman desperately trying to find something to complain about, and finding nothing.
[20:54]	Panzer	"Mmm... It is, adequate, fräulein. Vell done."
[20:54]	Panzer	"Now then! That box, on the table there!"
[20:56]	Panzer	points to an obvious cardboard shipping box that's been opened. Inside are various connectors, cords, and some kind of signal box.
[20:56]	Ai`	"Yes?"
[20:57]	Panzer	"Ze signal booster at ze antenna is outdated; zis is ze new model, vich you shall help me install!"
[20:58]	Ai`	"Understood. Direct me."
[20:58]	Panzer	"You know vere the antenna tower is, ja?"
[20:59]	Ai`	"Yes. Shall I take you there?"
[21:00]	Panzer	"Ja, you shall! Sehr gut!"
[21:00]	Ai`	starts walking.
[21:01]	Panzer	smiles proudly, placing her arms on the sides of the chair like the captain of a starship.
[21:03]	Panzer	[As the pair walks down the dirt road from the island to the runway, Panzer makes a tactless remark.]
[21:04]	Panzer	"Ze Kommandant does not trust you, robut; how is it he permitted you to do zis ting alone?"
[21:05]	Ai`	"I am not alone; you are with me."
[21:05]	Ai`	"This is how."
[21:06]	Panzer	moves to deny her, but then stops with her finger mid-point and her mouth open slightly.
[21:07]	Panzer	"Ja... Ja, sehr gut."
[21:08]	Panzer	snuggles back into her captain's chair in a very un-militaristic fashion. This robut girl might actually end up being useful...
[21:12]	Panzer	[The pair crosses the runway and turns onto a dirt foot path through some sparse palms and undergrowth as the elevation rises. On the top of a moderate hill rests the antenna tower, of the impressive impressive latticework variety. It seems a little too much considering the size of the installation.]
[21:14]	Panzer	continues to direct Ai's movements, forgetting entirely that Ai can't actually see he pointing from this angle
[21:14]	Panzer	[=-= *her]
[21:15]	Panzer	"Ze elevator there, to ze third level."
[21:15]	Ai`	nods and goes, just as ordered.
[21:18]	Panzer	[The third level is little more than a small railed catwalk around a small central room, quite a bit smaller than the similar-looking room at ground level. The wind whips at both of their faces as they exit the elevator.]
[21:20]	Panzer	clutches at the edge of the seat, mindful that the wind affects her a great deal more.
[21:20]	Ai`	senses the movement.
[21:20]	Ai`	"Would you like the seat to be deeper?"
[21:21]	Panzer	"Ngggh, the wind! Scheller, to the door!"
[21:24]	Ai`	jogs to the door with all due care.
[21:26]	Panzer	manages to stay seated as they enter the darkened room, which twinkles with green, red, and amber lights.
[21:28]	Panzer	"Ze light, obviously."
[21:30]	Ai`	performs a quick LIDAR scan and goes to flip on the light switch.
[21:32]	Panzer	[It's a cramped room with less cables, electronic boxes, and gauges than might be expected, but it's certainly cramped enough.]
[21:34]	Panzer	"Now zen... Ze instillation instructions are in ze box as well, but I know zem by heart. Unless you vish to teach yourself?"
[21:35]	Ai`	considers...
[21:36]	Ai`	"If I learn these instructions myself, then I will be more able to assist you in the future. However, this task will likely take more time."
[21:36]	Ai`	"Is this acceptable?"
[21:37]	Ai`	turns her head to face Panzer. If one were paying close attention, they would notice her head seems to be stretching a few rules of human physiology.
[21:38]	Panzer	"Do as you vill do, robut; I vill correct your inevitable errors as you make them!"
[21:39]	Panzer	grins devilishly; she's loving this subservient giant girl that is metallic putty in her hands~

[21:40]	Ai`	quickly finds the manual and opens it. Instead of reading it, however, she quickly scans it into memory, and returns it to its place.

[21:46]	Ai`	immediately goes about checking the interferocitor readings and checks several arrays of equipment for further data before shutting them down and rewiring the connections between them for maximum efficiency.
[21:47]	Panzer	slaps Ai on the ear.
[21:48]	Ai`	faces her again.
[21:48]	Panzer	"Dummkoph! The W-splitter goes in PARALLEL with the auxiliary ethernet line!"
[21:49]	Panzer	"Are you trying to send internet to the Moon?!"
[21:50]	Ai`	"Thank you for the correction."
[21:50]	Ai`	calmly makes it.
[21:51]	Panzer	"And look here, none of the arrays haff lit up yet; the flux circuit isn't bi-synchronous!"
[21:53]	Ai`	responds quickly.
[21:53]	Ai`	"Amending error."
[21:57]	Panzer	[With some eventual teamwork, the pair manages to get the new signal amplifier installed, as well as breaking two things that were working before they started, and fixing three of them.]
[21:59]	Panzer	[Panzer finishes plugging in the last Ethernet cord by herself, and adjusts her glasses.]
[22:00]	Panzer	"Zat vill do, zat vill do just fine, ja..."

[22:03]	Ai`	offers her hands for transport once more, and brings them to the shoulder-chair afterwards.
[22:06]	Panzer	"Make sure now to clear up after yourself, ja? Return all those junk components to the box; I vill sort them later."
[22:09]	Ai`	goes about cleaning immediately. In the midst of it, however, she asks something.
[22:10]	Ai`	"What is to be done with the 'junk'?"
[22:10]	Panzer	shrugs, her eyes idly tracing the wires on the wall.
[22:11]	Panzer	"Storage, perhaps. Garbage, perhaps. Zey are not important. As I said, I vill sort them out later."
[22:12]	Ai`	stands up and turns her head to look directly at Panzer again.
[22:13]	Ai`	"If any parts are to be disposed of, could you give them to me? By analyzing your parts, I might do better next time."

[22:24]	Ai`	may not be able to speak honestly of emotion yet, but it does align with her objectives. In a sense, then, it really is pleasing.
[22:25]	Panzer	"Ja, I must test the connection speeds of the island's computers now!"
[22:27]	Ai`	grips the box and makes her way out the door, flicking off the lights as she goes.
