  1. You meet up with Eden when you next see her, and she recounts her visit with Bahamut eagerly.
  2.
  3. Bahamut is currently staying within a temple in Burmecia. He's attracted quite a few sightseers and has played the role of offering advice to those who ask. When Eden showed up, she tells you, he gently ushered others out of the room and spoke to her in private.
  4.
  5. He welcomed her after she told him who she was, and then the two began to talk at length about things. Her new connection with the planet. Terra. Current events. And yes, your own questions as well. And when asked about the Manikins, Bahamut said this on the matter.
  6.
  7. "The Manikins? Yes... it has been a long time now. Many, many, many years. I had not quarantined them out of hatred or bigotry, you may rest assured. They represented futuristic technology that could have posed a risk to the development of the world. Even letting the people of flesh and blood settle in Gaia had a risk to it. Memories can hold quite a bit. But at least, with nothing but the clothes on their back, they would have to start over. That was what I proposed. I wanted the people from beyond Gaia to start from the ground up and integrate into the societies of the time naturally. But the Manikins... their bodies were immortal and carried within them tools, weaponry, and other advancements that could not simply be removed. I did what I did, acting as a guardian of Gaia, though it was with a heavy heart. To this day I do wonder if I had done the right thing. But now the world has grown and adapted. This is an age of technological advancement, progress, revolution. Of cultural acceptance, too. There is no reason to keep the transporter inactive any longer. Even though their technology is still somewhat above the current level of civilization, Terran ruins are being delved into on a common basis, and things will not remain as they are for long. The Manikins are welcome to join Gaia now. I can only hope they do not hold any bitterness in their hearts because I felt the world was not yet ready. Hrmmm. Regardless however, I know that I owe them an apology. I will be waiting when they are ready to make their exodus into the world. Give my regards to the young genome that inquired about this."
